When I click items that need to be looked at, it shows rides and deliveries, which is weird cause I could’ve sworn I just selected only deliveries, so I think it’s it thinks I’m trying to be a regular Uber driver.

I’ve gone into a couple accidents in the last year. Could that be it, but I was just driving no problem in California two months ago

Just had a wonderful restaurant employee of Burger King refuse to give me the Uber eats order I was there to pick up. Wonder why?

They ran out of Dr pepper.

So I tried calling and texting the customer, but after 5 minutes they didn't respond.

I told the employee that coke is fine.

Apparently he was watching /listening to me and said I didn't talk to anyone and I'm not allowed to modify a customer's order. I chuckled because I thought he was joking. He wasn't.

I told him I do this every day, and have to make snap decisions all the time. I have a 100% satisfaction rating, etc. Every customer has been happy with said decisions because they know they should have replied.

Anyway, he refused to give me the order and claimed he'd get a complaint. After arguing with him and trying to make him realize the customer won't recieve their food now, and that would be a much bigger complaint, he wouldn't listen and so I had to cancel the order.

Amazing that some random person gets to tell me how to do my Job. Before I walked out I asked him what the store's rating was. He didn't say a word

Paying 10p extra don't mean nothing to them. I'm furious. I already switched from JustEat to Uber and now they're acting stupid too?!

Bit of a minor one but ordered mcdonald’s through the app which uses uber to deliver. The order included 2x 5 chicken select meals. Only one box of 5 chicken selects arrived. Requested a refund by talking to one of the agents and they said I’ll get £2.80 back. One chicken select meal is £9.39, I’m missing the main item and get £2.80 refund. If it wasn’t a meal, 5 chicken selects is around £7.20 on its own. £2.80 doesn’t even cover an order of chips and a drink. Funny how the biggest fast food company can’t even return a proper refund but whatevs.

Posted about my experience previously - uber support canceled an order and said I canceled it when a driver stole my food. Is there a class action or some legal way (small claims) to hold them accountable for literal theft?

For the last few months I’ve been winning the leagues but I did a survey about whether if I liked it or not and now I am not in a league. Is this happening to other in Texas too. Please do not ask for my personal location.

Told this driver i was in the bath and couldn't answer the phone to give him directions, theres instructions attached to the order that he could have parked and read. In the second screenshot at the top where its cut off he was complaining that i couldn't communicate with him when i was activley texting him. Uber refunded me for the order but still charged me for the drivers tip.

UPDATE: I finally received an email from support today stating that they’re refunding the order. Still won’t be using Eats anymore.

I haven’t used UberEats since having a bad experience with them a few years ago, but I decided to try it again recently after moving to a new city. The driver had one stop before they were supposed to come to me. On the way to me she stopped and did not move for at least 10 minutes. I could tell then that she wasn’t going to deliver my food. I sent her a message asking if everything was ok which she didn’t respond to.
So I waited until the latest delivery time passed and contacted support. They said I could either cancel the order or accept a small credit and wait to see if it’s delivered, and confirmed that if she didn’t deliver it would be fully refunded. I didn’t want her to get away with just taking my food and still getting paid so I took the credit and said I’d wait. I placed another order in the meantime which was delivered quickly. After 3 hours of being in that same spot she still hadn’t moved. I went to sleep and woke up to a notification saying the order could not be delivered, so I figured that means I’ll get the refund.
Of course it can never be that simple with Uber! I open the app and it says the delivery was completed… I contact support to tell them it was obviously not delivered and they said they’re transferring my issue to the “proper team” and that they’d email me the same day. It’s been two days now and still haven’t heard from them. Obviously I’ve learned my lesson AGAIN and won’t use UberEats ever again.

Just had my last bottle with Uber Dash a driver stole my food and Uber internally canceled my order so now they refuse to give me a refund. How is that even allow that that’s literally theft - will be using literally any other service from now on. Suggest you do the same!

Have gone through multiple support chats with Uber regarding an issue and them not doing anything about it. Customer support agents will just straight up lie and say they are the highest level of support that Uber can offer. I found that you could use this phrase:

I am requesting an immediate escalation review by a tier-2 supervisor regarding a legal financial review

and they'll actually do something about it which did work for me. I was then connected with someone from Supervisor Support and they actually did something useful.

Uber Eats won’t refund an order I made that never arrived. Because I can’t provide a picture of the non delivered food item. The driver dropped my food off at the wrong house. Tried to hand me a different order which I refused to take. And now I can’t get a refund. I spend a small fortune on Uber Eats is the part that really bugs me.

I placed an order to pick up at this restaurant and I went there with the direction that Uber gave me. I was there circling around the neighborhood for an hour but couldn’t find any shops or restaurants anywhere near the location. This is what customer service told me. What should I do to get my money back? The restaurant is in Oakland but in the app, it’s in San Jose.

First is choice of restaurant

So there are multiple locations for this specific restaurant

I prefer one location and order from there

My order is redirected to the other location

I didn't consent to that

I check and make sure it's correct before placing the order

Then they refuse to cancel the order

I will place an order and even use the priority and read the times

Then after placing my order suddenly the order won't arrive for an hour or more? And it keeps getting longer and longer arrival time?

No I didn't accept that

And yet I'm not allowed to cancel and have to accept cold food that smells bad after sitting for an hour at the restaurant waiting to be picked up ?

Basically they are allowed to change the agreed terms after I place my I order and I'm not allowed to cancel it get my money back ?

Why? Is this normal? Is there any way to escalate this to a manager ?

Took a picture of my house to "confirm delivery" and just drove off. Support refuses to give me a refund because "the courier completed the drop-off."

I placed the order at 12:20 this afternoon Uber told me I should expect a 1pm delivery time, because my driver was far away, the time kept getting pushed back, and now I’m expecting a 1.30 delivery time.

I saw on the map where they were in relation to the restaurant, and my home.. it’s not close

This is insane, I just cancelled Uber One subscription.

Im so serious. I stopped driving for them years ago, and have been unable to pull the remaining funds from the wallet. I actually stopped driving for this reason, because they stole $120 from me, when all the money in my wallet disappeared. It took months, but they "reimbursed me" $20 from the $120 that they stole. No accidents, i have a 5 star rating, etc. anyways, the app refuses to let me withdraw. "We can not connect you to your funds right now, please check the app again later to see if there is anything to do" is the error message I receive in my wallet, on the app, the website, and mobile. Ive spent hours with support. Phone, email, chat. No one cares. I basically get told to f*!k off. they say a "specialized team" will reach out to me. TBH ive beeen down atrociously bad the past couple of months, and ive spent about 30 hours trying to get this $20 back. Is this worth bringing to a lawyer? This is textbook case of withholding funds, no? I have tried everything. ALLL documents and info is updated. Uber has confirmed that there really is $20 (19.98) in my account. It isnt a glitch. please do not be mean or snarky. what can i even do? I dont want to let them have it, on the principle.

i want to deliver with uber eats on my e scooter that goes like 25 to 28 with 15 to 20 miles depending on the weather. I know about the 25mph rule and the second mode on my e scooter locks me at 20mph so i guess i would get a fair amount of more range at 20mph. So should i register as an e bike or bike

How are they allowed to advertise deals for a price and then even if you select the cheapest options there isn’t a combination for that price

Just like it says I ordered dinner tonight they gave me a wrong item so I reached out to UBER. They gave me a $5 refund yet when I checked the $5 refund was taken out of the driver's tip it was not their fault. Further investigation shows me that it's happened twice before to tips I leave.

Who can I report it to? Uber keeps saying they don't know if the money came out of the tip

So long story short, my account got hacked, not sure how since I had 2FA on but they turned it off, and last night in another state someone started ordering on my profile using a card I cancelled earlier to because of another issue, and somehow still managed to pay some of it even though it should not have. And Uber is just not being helpful, saying I can delete my account but it won't because of "outstanding balances" even after I explained that they're fraudulent. Is there anything else I can do here? I don't want to give any other cards in case those criminals see it, although I did get their delivery address.

i’m getting tired of placing an order and not getting any drivers, if uber could make an update to where before you place an order, you can see drivers near you, and in your area and uber eats recommends if ordering is worth it, i think it would save a lot of people’s time

So I'm looking to get an upgraded ebike from my current one to do Uber eats for longer I can currently do 25 miles before having to go home on my 48 volt 20 ah ebike are there any good ebike you guys use that can go the distance and have normal 26 inch tires?
