UK My GF’s delivery driver said she had “Nice legs” and was being creepy to her, this is what his uber profile said:
Tell me this isn’t creepy, we are currently trying to report this to uber.

Stock photos for context. I have ordered from this place and eaten in a fair few times so I know the items are supposed to look like their stock photos. This is 100% the result of my rider (on a bike) taking the food on a tour of the city centre instead of taking the literal straight line from the restaurant to my building. wtf 😭

My delivery driver today attempted to deliver a 12 inch pizza to me by storing it squashed under his jacket, when I asked what happened he said Uber had ‘given him too many deliveries’ - I’d understand that if it was on the box at the back of his moped, except he didn’t have one, instead storing it sideways under his jacket, the only delivery he had on him.. literally.

So it’s 3:00am, I order a quick scran — nothing fancy, literally from a shop that’s about 7 minutes drive away at this time of night. Would’ve just driven there myself if i could. Anyway, the driver accepts the order, then messages me saying he can’t deliver it and tells me to cancel. I reply saying I’m not paying extra or risking a no-refund since it’s already marked “on the way.” Uber app even says I wouldn’t be entitled to a refund because it’s technically en route. I tell him if he can’t deliver, he needs to contact Uber support.
He messages back saying he’s on his way. Cool, sorted, I think — maybe just a weird mix-up.
Then he turns up, awkward laugh, “You alright mate?” Hands me my bag… then another one. Says, “Sorry mate, that’s an extra burger on me.”
Now I said, “Don’t worry about it,” but here’s where it gets weird. The main bag’s sealed, fine. But the “extra burger” is just sitting there — no sticker seal, plain bag, abd not sticker sealed. and when I check label … it’s a double cheeseburger with no cheese. Like, literally a double cheeseburger without the cheese.
Maybe I’m overthinking it, but it’s the middle of the night, the driver was acting odd, and that random unsealed burger feels… off.
Would you eat it? Or bin it and count it as one of those weird Uber Eats mysteries?

In sick to death of it. Someone accepts my order. It's there sitting and ready to be collected. He goes halfway around the city and back multiple times over before picking up my order, to go halfway around the city and back, stop at a house for 20 minutes before bringing my food stone cold. Sometimes this even happens with groceries containing temperature sensitive items like meat or dairy. I've had orders taken 3.5 hours and Uber won't reassign the order. And the driver never gets booted off the platform and does it all over again.
If you're one of the drivers that do this, you are the absolute worst. Uber need to be stricter with this and hand out instant bans the first time someone does this, and not allow them to just make endless new accounts

I’ve suspected this for a while but now I have proof they are charging for a service they’re not providing. There is also no access to a chat to get a refund. These spineless nerds have stolen from me for the last time.

so, me and my friend are staying in london for the weekend. yesterday we ordered uber eats, it was about £25 for the food plus £3 service fee and £2 delivery fee. the restaurant we ordered from was 200 meters from the hotel we were staying at (yes we were lazy). the guy comes outside of our hotel and calls. my friend goes to take the order and takes my phone with her because we ordered from it. my friend gives the driver the code but then the guy wanted to see my phone. my friend thought he didnt understand the code and wanted to see it. my friend gave the delivery guy my phone/ he snatched it from her, and he started asking what evrything means because my phone is not in english. my friend explains and the guy gave himself a 25% tip??? my friend snatched the phone back and the guy gave our food and just took off.
is this normal?? we dont have ubereats in out home country and we thought the £2 was enough for the short delivery.. apparently not. also the driver was already waiting in the same street probably because there are a lot of restaurants there. i contacted ubereats support but havent heard anything back..

I got my food handed to me with the seal not connected on the side of the bag. He handed it to me so it looked like it was still connected but it wasn’t. Everyone around me seems to think I’m crazy for not wanting to eat the food after this. Am I overreacting?

Do they get shy or something? Why even accept it in the first place?

Hey all, Please help me out with this.
I ordered food, never received it, but the app marked it as delivered and claimed I entered the code even though I never met the driver. I’m convinced the delivery driver scammed me. I have screenshots proving the false delivery status, chat logs showing multiple support agents ignoring my complaints, and proof that I placed a second order immediately after because the first one never arrived, which shows I wasn’t trying to scam anyone. I can also access my building’s CCTV if needed. Uber eats is refusing to resolve it so i’m thinking of starting a chargeback with my bank? is that possible?
The “picture” he took was a picture of the wall at the entrance of my building and not the order, the receptionists also said they hadn’t seen anyone come by. He also sent an automated call to tell name he had come, but by then i had already messaged him. I think he only did that to get my number so he could enter the code himself. Please help

Sorry for the long story, but I’m in a bit of a pickle and wondering if anyone has experienced something similar or has any advice.
Last night, I ordered some food through Uber Eats. After waiting around 40 minutes, I received a message from my driver claiming that my order had been cancelled and asking me to send him my four-digit delivery PIN to cancel it. Bear in mind, this was the driver telling me the order had been cancelled, not Uber Eats itself. The order was still active on the app. I immediately thought something was fishy when he asked for my PIN, as Uber explicitly tells you not to share it until your food arrives. It became pretty clear to me that he was attempting to scam me and steal my food.
I refused to give him the PIN and told him that I was reporting the incident. After I told him I was reporting him, he suddenly drove to a location near my address, but not actually to my address. He was a few streets away, down some random side street. He then messaged me through the app claiming there was “no answer at the door”, despite never having been anywhere near my front door. He then uploaded an incredibly blurry photograph of absolutely nothing, claiming that he had left my food outside. Again, this was in some random alleyway a few streets away from where I actually live.
I immediately contacted Uber Eats, explained the entire situation and provided screenshots of the conversation, the driver’s location and the supposed proof of delivery. All of this is also recorded on Uber’s own app, complete with timestamps. Their response? After conducting a “thorough investigation”, they have concluded that I am not eligible for a refund because, according to them, the food was delivered to my address.
I have since messaged them multiple times, explaining that the driver literally tried to obtain my PIN under false pretences, never arrived at my address and then falsely claimed to have delivered the order. Every single time, I receive essentially the same generic response telling me that they have investigated the matter and cannot issue a refund.
I’m genuinely baffled as to how this is allowed.
Edit: After repeatedly pestering the chat and throwing around some legal jargon, I finally managed to get through to someone who didn’t seem to be AI. They sent me an extremely long apology, refunded my order and confirmed that the driver had been reported to their fraud team.

So last night I ordered some shopping on Ubereats any way the driver turned up with No shopping and asking for the pin. He called my phone three times as well before and sent me a message saying hey I’ve got your delivery send the pin, I ignored it of course not giving it out until my food turns up. So he turns up at the door without any shopping asking for the PIN number I said I’ll give it to him when he gives me my shopping, he said he didn’t have my shopping so I said if you haven’t got my shopping then you ain’t getting the pin, he told me my shopping was coming with another driver (yeah right!) showed me his bike and said see no shopping contact the store. What the f is going on! Whys he at my door asking for the pin if he hasn’t got my food! Eventually he went away saying he didn’t even want the pin. I reckon he stole my food hid it somewhere and was trying to get the tip too! Honestly I was so angry last night because some of that food was for my dinner. I’ve contacted Ubereats saying none of my shopping turned up so hopefully I get the refund. All I can think about is some vulnerable person who will send them the pin or give them the pin on the doorstep and then leave! What an absolute loser.

Honestly, I think the era of these delivery apps is nearing there end.
As someone with severe anxiety, this have a been a lifeline.
But regularly having to wait over an hour while drivers deliver multiple deliveries to end up with cold food.
This app is infuriating.

He did a tour of my town first, added 12 mins into delivery time, pizza crushed and food bag tore…

Look, I'm aware that you guys are underpaid and under appreciated and you're going to mutli-app.
But people want their food warm at a minimum.
Don't forget that we can track you on the app. So that when you're taking a long time I can look at the app and see when you get halfway to my house, I can watch you turn around, head back into the city centre and stand outside McDonald's for 10 minutes whilst you pick up more food off a different app and then ride off in the opposite direction.
If the driver who took nearly 2hrs to not deliver my food and didn't respond when uber tried to contact you is on here, I'm not sorry I complained and cancelled.

Just had my £40 Popeyes order stolen, driver didn't move for ages or would jump from one spot and back again, then it all a sudden said the food was here but he hadn't moved on the map. He then messaged his through the app with his number and said, "Ring me," so we did, and then it stated that the food was delivered.
When checking, we realised the pin was the last four digits of my phone number, hence why he asked us to call him.
So the lesson here is - do not give them your number in any circumstances
Has anyone had a similar experience?

I am an Uber One subscriber. However when I am trying to place a new order, Uber One benefits are not being applied and delivery fee is not discounted. This is obviously a bug which was confirmed by Uber support before. I keep trying to reach out to Uber Support and ask them to fix this problem.
But each time I do try to reach out to them, they just give me a coupon for a couple of bucks (which I didn’t even request) and close the ticket. So apparently it’s cheaper for Uber to shut up customers with these 2 bucks coupons than actually reporting this issue to technical team for investigations 🤷♂️

Several times i've had a different person show up, that doesn't remotely match their profile pic, or a man when it's supposed to be a woman. Literally got an order on the way as I type this and it's supposed to be a woman, does anyone report this? I've let it slide as there's been nothing wrong with my food but also thinking about the possible dangers that could happen.

I just ordered Pizza Express, to which the rider waited up the road from the store for a good 20 mins. Tried contacting with no luck.
Then he finally went to the store. Finally!!
He then picked up the order, and then took 20 mins to get here (it takes like 7 mins).
I went outside ready to meet him (I live in an apartment). No joke at all, he was riding his bike down my road, and I watched him do a full u turn in the middle of the road (he didn’t stop or look around at all), and rode off. Then I got a message saying he couldn’t fulfil my order. I got a full refund, but still!
I contacted uber, who couldn’t give a rats arse about the situation. They said ‘you were refunded, can I help with anything else’. Like I want to complain, I waited for ages for my food - for him to do that. I said he’s clearly doing something fishy to get free food. No arse given. Asked if I needed help with anything else- ended chat.
Ordered Pizza Hut now, as pizza express isn’t taking orders anymore (fuming as it’s costed me more, as a pizza and cheesecake was £12 from pizza express due to offers). If I have any problems- I swear down!! Will keep updated if I get my pizza eventually lol. Ordered a cookie dough to cheer me up also- spending more for less anyway- so why tf not.
End of rant lol. Thanks to all those who read my silly rant. 🫶🏻

Ordered £24.54 worth of food last night. The delivery came in a paper bag, which was soaked through and gave way while the driver was handing it to me, causing most of the food to spill onto the floor. Surely a plastic bag around it and cling film securing the Tupperware could have prevented this? I reported it straight away with the photo, but Uber refunded me just £3.54.. how is this fair?
EDIT: After contacting Uber on X and Instagram, including links to my posts, Uber’s Priority Support escalated it, called me, apologised, and refunded the order in full, with additional Uber Credit added to my account.

Can any driver, or returning customer let me know why every time I order on UberEats, I am met with the same thing, no driver, refund? I am really tired of this man. I tried even adding a very generous tip multiple times, and no driver. It’s not like there are no drivers, I know there are because they’ll deliver to friends and family, just seemingly never me? I mean I feel bad for the store I keep ordering from cause they keep having to get orders ready for my delivery and then 2 hours later having to put it back. I have gotten two out of TEN orders. I get that I live in a smaller area, but more stores round here are getting UberEats, so it must be going well enough for others to see and implement themselves. I’m just genuinely sick of this, I just want my food and drink honestly.

For reference, I spent around 500£ monthly on this platform for 3 months (tips included). I deleted my account today for the following reasons: - I had a grocery shopping worth of 117£ (50+ items) and i only received a 20£ worth of items because the delivery people stole my bags. I was refunded after a lot of support discussion, but they said it was an act of "goodwill gesture" - I had drivers deliver my food, and 5 minute before reaching my place, they cancel the order. This happened 4 times. Got refunded, but the time was lost. - I had drinks spilled almost everytime. Drivers don't tell you it's spilled (or that the bag is destroyed in a part), and they run quckly to the exit while i am stuck with drinks on my floor or on my food. Not sure why restaurants can't find better cups to hold the coffee/soda. - For other grocery shoppings, items are always missing. - In more cases I get annoyed that they have to deliver someone else's order first, so I have to wait a lot for mine, and usually they give me the bag of the other person with the wrong food. - Support experience is horrible in some cases. - Drivers do not match the photos 33% of cases and they don't know english.
I will only keep Deliveroo and only order from it in case I get sick. Never had a problem with that platform and their drivers.
Context on why I order this much: I had a habit of working a lot while being in university (job, paid side project + studying for scholarships). Since I did not want to sacrifice my sleep, I sacrificed the cooking time. Now that I am out of uni, I had this habit of ordering food for a while, but I will start cooking again and going grocery shopping, even if I do not have a car.
