uber highlight
i’m getting tired of placing an order and not getting any drivers, if uber could make an update to where before you place an order, you can see drivers near you, and in your area and uber eats recommends if ordering is worth it, i think it would save a lot of people’s time

If no one is accepting your order it’s because you ain’t tipping enough.

Ask any driver, 98% of people that say they'll tip after, never do.
It's very nice of you to not be one of them, but driver's just won't accept $2.00 trips (that's what uber generally pays as a flat rate) and "hope" you cash tip or try to add a tip after *which app doesn't work for half the time.
It just is what it is.

You have shared this in the UK UberEats too - are you in the UK or the US?

Uber can send drivers from 5+ miles away if none are around. It's more likely that you're either ordering from a problematic place that is known for delays and drivers know to avoid, or you live in an inconvenient area either somewhere on a main street with nowhere to legally park and risk a fine, or way away from a city, making it unlikely to get a return trip. If it's the latter, you'd best preemptively add a tip with your order to make the order be worth the unpaid drive back.
