Two weeks ago I had my first attempt at an Idol build, where good lessons were learned. Today I’m back with a new personal best try.

I entered Endless with Heartstone at first, and quickly realized by ante 10 how inconsistent and inconvenient it is. Between antes 10-14 instead of taking Oops, I focused on gathering enough money and copy jokers to prepare for an Idol pivot. By ante 15, I was lucky enough to have maximum joker slots and 6 copies of Blueprints/Brainstorms. Idol showed up right before Ante 5 boss.

In ante 16, I started changing the entire deck to Spades, as I recall not having faced the Hearts boss yet, and I still didn’t have the boss reroll voucher. This turned out to be good intuition as I never got the voucher even after making it to ante 26.

While I didn’t set out to grow a big Wee, my lil girl did ended up pretty chonky, at 52,328 chips. If I were to optimize gameplay for this purpose, I probably would have spent more time with hanging chad, and playing all the hands I had in each round. Been having a blast with this deck, been through several iterations but this one has been feeling the best. Get a discounted/buffed SIM and copy it a bunch, or just copy Victoria Hand a couple times and it wins on turn 6 out of nowhere.
