Inspired by stuff like Kaycee's Mod for Inscryption or Hades's Heat System, Polychrome stake gives you complete control over how difficult you want your balatro run.

Polychrome stake is unlocked after Gold Stake, and new modifers unlock as you complete more difficult runs to give a feeling of progression.

Polychrome Stake is coming soon^tm, first as a part of the All in Jest mod, but we will do a standalone release of Polychrome stake shortly after, because I know a lot of people want to play this without the mountain of other content All in Jest has.

I sould mention that none of these stickers make vanilla stickers any less likely, so this is all purely added challenge, and I should also mention I do plan to add a toggle for each sticker and its relevant stake when I get around to releasing this mod, just in case any of these stickers really don't tick with someone

In my 25ish hours in this game i got 2 legendary jokers total. This seed has 4 of them until Ante 6!!!

Two weeks of playing and watching videos of baron builds I thought I finally had my shot.

I just really love this game. I'm discovering it for the first time just last night, and it's the first time in a long time I've genuinely enjoyed playing a video game. The soundtrack, the visuals, the audio feedback all just hit the right places.

Idk man. It's just a simple card game but something about it is so beautiful to me. For the first time in a long time, I feel like I can just relax without the need to perform or meet expectations. Hats off to dev team.

Finally got an expired banana, picked up antimatter ante 8, canio literally right after ante 8 big blind and was like heck yeah easy extra stickers, then it just doesn’t give them to me. Yes unseeded lol

I always knew that balatro existed (ever since it came out) but never wanted to try it out because I don't really like card games, but I'm glad I did.

The UI is very clean and works well for touch devices.

However, I wish there was a page with the description of "combos" (didn't know what a straight was so I had to look it up)

Two weeks ago I had my first attempt at an Idol build, where good lessons were learned. Today I’m back with a new personal best try.

I entered Endless with Heartstone at first, and quickly realized by ante 10 how inconsistent and inconvenient it is. Between antes 10-14, instead of taking Oops, I focused on gathering enough money and copy jokers to prepare for an Idol pivot. By ante 15, I was lucky enough to have maximum joker slots and 6 copies of Blueprints/Brainstorms. Idol showed up right before Ante 5 boss.

In ante 16, I started changing the entire deck to Spades, as I recall not having faced the Hearts boss yet, and I still didn’t have the boss reroll voucher. This turned out to be good intuition as I never got the voucher even after making it to ante 26.

While I didn’t set out to grow a big Wee, my lil girl did ended up pretty chonky, at 52,328 chips. Most of the gains took place between antes 15-26 after I picked up Idol and finalized the lineup. During this time, Wee increased from 16k to 52k chips.

If I were to optimize gameplay for the purpose of growing Wee, I probably would have spent more time with hanging chad, and playing all the hands I had in each round.

Similarly, this is also the most money I have made in the game, at over $8,400 compared to my last personal record at $5,495. Lucky cards, while not as impactful as Rebate or Golden Ticket, goes a long way in late game as jokers slots got filled up.
