Rules PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE POSTING

Please check out the Official FAQs on the Amazon Flex website and subreddit rules before posting.

We also have our own FAQ that is also linked to in the sidebar ----------->

The sidebar also has a link to download the Flex app, the Flex Support contact info, the rules for this subreddit, and a warehouse list.

You may find the answer to your question there.

Many questions being asked here are repeat questions and are answered in the FAQ. Please check before making a new post.

If you need help with the Flex app, please include the app version number and whether it's Android or iOS in your post.

Also, please don't post useless threads about how hard it is to grab blocks, people using bots at your warehouse, what times the blocks get released, etc. Those posts add nothing to the discussion and will be removed.

Thanks!

There is a Discord server that was created and is maintained by the mods of /r/doordash but has been built to support any courier service. $207 on gas in ONE WEEK. And I drive a freaking HYBRID 💀

Post image

Man, these gas prices are getting ridiculous.

I drive a hybrid and somehow spent $207.66 on gas in just one week. Between Flex and DD I put almost 800 miles on my car. 800 freaking miles lol.

I knew I was spending more on gas lately, but damn, seeing the actual numbers for the week kinda pissed me off.

$1,545 sounds like a pretty good week, right? Then you realize over $200 went straight into the gas tank. That's $800+ a month just on gas. And that's before tires, maintenance and all the other crap.

And here's what really got me. Two weeks ago I made almost the same money working about 44 hours. This week? 54 freaking hours. Ten extra hours for basically the same paycheck. WTF.

Almost 800 miles, 54.5 hours, and after gas I'm down to around $24.50/hr. And my car doesn't exactly maintain itself for free.

Seriously starting to wonder how much longer this makes sense.

Be real. Would you still do this for $24–25/hr after gas if it meant putting almost 800 miles on your car every week? Or what's your cutoff where you just say screw it, I'm staying home? 💀

Sleeping in my car 1 hour from home, because I dont have everything I need to put in my spare, called 3 different roadside companies

I was 80% done with my block and I heard the dreaded sound of a flat tire, a large diameter bolt stabbed deep into the tire

I stop call roadside assistance company #1, I wait 2 hours, I call for reassurance they are still coming, okay cool.....another 2 hours, I call again this time they aren't picking up

Company #2, requires $245 before they even dispatch the driver....okay.....wait 45 minutes, get a call "the driver we dispatched broke down, we can send another but he wont be able to reach you until morning"......okay just give me my refund

Company #3, never answered the first call

So let this be a lesson to everyone to have a spare and everything you need

I limped myself over to a Walmart thats currently closed and im waiting until morning and hopefully I can get some help then

Im missing the crank for the jack and im missing something to turn the lugnuts loose

To top it off, i have 8 amazon packages in my car, I highly doubt ill get them back to the station by 10am tommorow if my luck keeps holding up

If you’re flexing in sac DO NOT take the 2hr blocks from 8-10pm from Elk Grove DSR6, these routes are high mileage low balls…absolute garbage for $47! They will always, always send you to either Stockton, valley springs, shingle springs or somewhere mega far. I knew better tonight but took a gamble bc Im in a rental so not too concerned about wear n tear but my route was so terrible that It felt like straight up abuse lmfao. It’s literally not worth it the $$ especially driving ur personal car.

Amazon Flex Deactivated My Account Over Whole Foods Blocks Even Though I Continued Delivering — Need Advice

Hi everyone,

My Amazon Flex account was deactivated because Amazon claims I accepted blocks but failed to pick up the orders. The problem is that these were Whole Foods blocks, and I was completing my deliveries.

The Whole Foods location often had no available parking, and there were frequent delays getting inside and collecting the orders. Sometimes my route and start time would change, which caused additional delays.

Whenever I encountered these issues, I contacted Driver Support. I was told to continue delivering and that it was nothing to worry about. I followed their instructions and continued with my deliveries, so I never expected my account to be deactivated over these incidents.

I've already appealed, but I keep receiving the same generic responses without a clear explanation or a proper resolution.

I'm now trying to figure out what to do next because I really want my account back.

Has anyone experienced something similar and successfully gotten their Amazon Flex account reactivated?

Did you get your account back through an appeal, Executive Relations, or arbitration?

If you went through arbitration, how did you start the process?

What evidence did you submit?

Did you handle everything yourself or hire a lawyer?

I'd especially appreciate hearing from people who actually went through arbitration or successfully got their accounts back after repeated generic appeal responses.

Thank you for any advice. I really appreciate it.

Philadelphia Do they not give you the break down of tips after doing a grocery store order?! (Sorry I’m new w it)

Do they not show you what customer tipped what amount? I had an order from Weis that drop off was 6 diff houses. Says total tip amount was $21. Tf. So basically each customer tipped around $3.50 if that’s the case. One house was damn near 40 minutes each way

WTF Customer followed all the way to delivery place 💀

• Upvotes

WTF! Today, I had my first return, and the location was some kind of mailing store. It was closed 🙄, and there was absolutely nowhere for me to hide the packages 😤🤭.

After like 3 minutes after the app asked me to take a picture as proof that the business was closed, I saw a black SUV park next to my car. A random guy got out and told me that I had his package and that the store was closed today. He asked if I could give him his package because he was leaving town, and I was like, nope, I can't.

Should I have given it to him? It's so fucking weird that he showed up there 💀💀💀.

Also, today, I got a stupid, glitch-related ding removed, and I might get another one because of what happened today 🤬🤬.

FLEX Ripped me off

FLEX doesn't want to pay for a block I couldn't do because the system assigned me the wrong route. I did everything I could to get one. Contacted DS 4 times, and not even them could help me out because they didn't know the app was having that issue (supposedly). The Amazon warehouse supervisor couldn't help either. I waited from 8:30 until 9:15 pm. The block was supposed to end at 11 pm, my phone screen was still showing then that they were still looking for a route for me.

Anyway, now Amazon refuses to pay me. Their reasoning: I didn't successfully finish the block! Duffos!!!

How can I contact someone other than "Flex Support" to help me with this?

Car accident on duty

Has anyone ever gotten in a car accident while driving for amazon ?

I was about 6 packages in out of 40 and a car hit me head on at an intersection.

They didnt ping me for any of the packages but ive been out of work for weeks now due to my back pain and have no idea what to expect from the insurance. (The other driver has already been found at fault)

Anyone else totaled their car while driving or filed for lost wages from amazon?

Question Make it make sense

I called support soon as I grabbed my cart at the start of my block and told them 4 packages were damaged covered in some sort of oil that leaked from one of the packages. I stead of putting dirty oily packages in my car and damaging my seats plus delivery an oily packages to the customer I told support so they would have me leave the packages at the return zone. How is it I still get dinged for this? Has anyone experienced similar situation and what was your outcome?

How are everyone's rates in Compton area or LA.

I WAS DOING CORONA FOR about 2 years and I was always making minimum 120 a route (obviously being picky)

But now the rates are way lower. I live in compton. What are the rates here? Any

Can I Do Amazon Flex After Resigning With Negative UPT?

Hey everyone! I currently work at the Amazon warehouse in San Bernardino (ONT2), but I live in Lake Elsinore, so the Corona delivery station would be much closer to me.
For those who do Amazon Flex out of Corona, how much have you been making recently? Is it worth it with the current block availability?
I also have a question about eligibility. If I resign from my Amazon warehouse job while sitting at -96 hours of UPT due to a pending medical accommodation case, would I still be eligible to sign up for Amazon Flex, or could my negative UPT affect my eligibility?
Has anyone been in a similar situation or know how Amazon handles this? I’m in California, and I’d appreciate any advice or personal experiences. Thank you! 🙏
