I got this randomly last week too - chatted to support and told them I made every delivery and had no returns and that the route completed normally with no notice of a missed stop and it was gone in the next couple of days. If you know you did, just hit them with something like that - I think pointing out you have/had no returns helps the most.

I did the same and they told me while it was out of my control and I did nothing wrong they weren't removing it. Some support staff help, others act like you're taking their money if they help you.

I had two show up from the same route and this is what I did. They opened a ticket and it went away in a few days

I did contact support and they still refused to remove it as if it were my fault. It’s so frustrating especially for a competitive person who works hard to keep a fantastic standing. I’ve had to just let go and not worry about it.

It means the customer reported it missing trying to get a free item, or someone stole it. Most likely the first one. Or you accidentally delivered it to the wrong building and weren’t aware

Email support and say “ I delivered this, please look into this for me”

amazon doesn't care. likely a customer reported a package missing/stolen. and they marked it as not delivered/complete.

it doesn't matter. can be deactivated for anything at any time, and most of these random dings, will fall off your standings in time.

arguing with some poor wage slave in india is a waste of energy. appeal/forward the complaint to andy@amazon if you want.

but ...won't stop amazon from randomly fucking you some other time.

Got the same thing and I didn’t return anything! A lot of ppl randomly got it last week so I wonder if it’s a glitch

That shit is so annoying. I got that a couple times and I deliver all my packages and rarely return any. And of course they won’t tell which one it is.

An incomplete delivery can happen from a missing package. Did you have any missing packages?

Does the system show you have packages to return? If so that's a much bigger issue and will hit your standings a lot harder than the incomplete delivery.

Hit up support, insist you completed every delivery. They'll look into it, and once verified it'll be removed within 48 hours.

This can happen when a package you were supposed to have ends up in the wrong cart. Picture this. You and another driver pick up your carts at the same time and start loading. The other driver scans and number their packages. When they scan your package, it won't scan because it isn't on their route and thus they return it. If there is someone at the returns desk, it probably gets scanned in immediately. Now you're hit with an undelivered package for something you never had.

In my experience, if you have a package this isn’t part of your route, it won’t let you scan it.

Where in my post did I say you can scan a package that doesn't belong to you? Reread what I posted

I only do amazon now offers and it still happens, no cart involved and it usually only a stop or 2

Chat with driver support - or email them. They will verify that the customer did receive it and voila in the next couple days they’ll remove it if not almost right away

What's the email

What I did was had chat gpt write my email, copied, paste and I sent it. Just explain what the issue was etc and ask for them to verify pictures or delivery confirmation. AI will make a well written letter.

My situation was leaving my keys locked inside. After I hour I was successful in opening my car, but not before contacting driver support right then and there. They suggested to return all packages, but mind you I re attempted all but 3 that indicated as do not deliver. I explained that driver support said not to worry. But the rest of the orders were successfully delivered. Same day I got my appeal approved. Removed that ding from my standing

Lmk the outcome of your situation

This happens to me every week really annoys me and the latest one they refused to remove super frustrating. They normally remove them though.

Wait wtf I had two for the same exact day I put in a ticket and they vanished

2

u/luitse1 14h ago

They just put a ticket for me will see if they remove it. 🙄

u/Skyy1977 14h ago

Apparently we are responsible for the package even after we deliver it.

1

u/SuperBasis7202 14h ago

It’s a glitch. Call support. I did and they removed it

1

u/Due_Feed_7660 13h ago

They wanna trash you soon. They want new blood for the holiday hustle and low pay

1

u/luitse1 13h ago

Did you recently have any packages damaged at the warehouse. They will ding you with this if you have damaged packages that you never take from the warehouse. According to them once you swipe to finish you own the packages and if it is damaged in the basket that is on you(I thing it sucks so bad because my warehouse is so ruff with the packages)

u/Glittering_Desk8758 10h ago

Normally a missing package from the cart. Just appeal it.

u/End_Ur_Life 6h ago

It means you didn't deliver all your packages. Also don't sweat. No a big deal keep delivering it will fall off shortly

u/xmarketladyx 16h ago

Either the person is claiming it wasn't delivered to score a freebie, it was stolen, delivered to the wrong place, or it's a glitch. If you take pics at every location, it's worth contacting support.

2

u/luitse1 16h ago

I'll give em a call I do take a picture on every delivery.

1

u/ssa1814 16h ago

Do you ever get some address where it doesn’t give you the option to take a picture? I tried choosing (another secure location) and no option to take the picture.

If the customer claims they didn't receive the item that would show up under customer received item. An incomplete delivery is the system stating you didn't attempt a delivery or marked a package undeliverable.

1

u/lexi_contruly 16h ago

I’m not sure I understand. If it says they received it that means we delivered it but they didn’t actually receive it because possibly someone stole it?

1

u/Serious_Camel7647 15h ago

The first one means their system thinks you did not attempt delivery. This could be because of a missing package, because you were never at the delivery location or something else they take as you never even tried to deliver the package.

The second one means you attempted delivery but we're unable to make the delivery. Most of the time that means you selected unable to deliver in the app and chose one of the reasons for why the package could not be delivered.

u/lexi_contruly 15h ago

Yes, the first happened at the station after I scanned the packages it showed I was missing a package the associate took my phone and did something to take it off. She apparently didn’tchoose an appropriate reason and I got dinged for it. After I delivered there was an extra package left over that was the missing one in question so I took it back to them and I assumed they scanned it in.

The second was to a business that had a sign in the window that they were closed for that day. In the app I said it was undeliverable and I gave the reason and it asked for a pic so I took a pic of the sign. It said take it back to the station which I did and the app said to scan it before dropping it in the returned packages area, which I did. The app seemed to walk me through each step accurately so why would I get dinged for that?

1

u/Serious_Camel7647 15h ago

Just how the system works. You get dinged for every package you can't deliver even if it's not your fault.

You can try contacting support to get the closed business when removed and they might do it.

Also what reason did you choose for not being able to deliver the package? In my experience when you choose closed business those are the only ones not counted against you.
