Sleeping in my car 1 hour from home, because I dont have everything I need to put in my spare, called 3 different roadside companies

I was 80% done with my block and I heard the dreaded sound of a flat tire, a large diameter bolt stabbed deep into the tire

I stop call roadside assistance company #1, I wait 2 hours, I call for reassurance they are still coming, okay cool.....another 2 hours, I call again this time they aren't picking up

Company #2, requires $245 before they even dispatch the driver....okay.....wait 45 minutes, get a call "the driver we dispatched broke down, we can send another but he wont be able to reach you until morning"......okay just give me my refund

Company #3, never answered the first call

So let this be a lesson to everyone to have a spare and everything you need

I limped myself over to a Walmart thats currently closed and im waiting until morning and hopefully I can get some help then

Im missing the crank for the jack and im missing something to turn the lugnuts loose

To top it off, i have 8 amazon packages in my car, I highly doubt ill get them back to the station by 10am tommorow if my luck keeps holding up

My tire popped today too after like 6 deliveries out of 25. Took like 5 hours to get a new tire and return all my packages.

Sorry it happened to you too.

I'm so f'n sorry. I live in fear of this day, 'cause if you drive enough miles, you know it's going to happen. Let us know how it turns out. Please stay safe tonight.

I had a flat on the way home. Like you, I didn’t have everything I needed to change the tire. I was missing the jack!! Had the crank but no jack. Go figure. So I spent 2-3 hours in 100+ degree weather waiting for assistance feeling like a complete idiot for never checking.

I pay for AAA Plus and figure it’s a business expense. Worth the $100 annual fee. They have never let me down. Even though they take forever to get to me.

Hope it all works out for you. Maybe driver support will be understanding.

I had the same luck today. But luckily I was able to put the spare and drove back home. I had done only two deliveries. Will be returning packages tomorrow
