Hi, VictorTael here! This drawing is part my Linktober challenge. Day 7 - Spirit.
I’ve always had a soft spot for Mipha and her connection with Link. Even after she’s gone, she never truly stops being there for him.
I wanted to capture that tenderness in this Mipha’s grace illustration, taking some inspiration from classical depictions of the Virgin Mary to convey a sense of purity, protection, and healing.
The rendering is a little rougher than I intended, but I’m happy with the emotion behind it.
Who do you ship Link with? 👀

I think Gloom Spawn or Gloom Hands is a really dumb name when compared to the other classic enemies they brought back like Gibdos, Phantom Ganon and Like-Likes (and also the Flux Constructs in their idle mode where they look like a Beamos statue), they look like a much more detailed version of the creepy Floormasters in Wind Waker
I hope I’m not alone in thinking this

I painted this in Photoship CS4 over 15 years ago, I'm still pretty happy with it although there is much I'd change... but that is inevitable with art, a piece is never finished, just released.
Still green around the ears to posting on reddit... but hopefully not for long.

It's been a couple years since my last replay of A Link to the Past and what surprised me about this replay was how I was cruising through the dungeons without much difficulty.
Had a great time all around, but I remembered struggling in previous runs and was mentally preparing for some of these dungeons to take a while or maybe needing a guide. Never happened. If anything, it was in the overworld where I found myself needing the occasional outside assist. Not sure if it's due to me playing a lot of Zelda/Metroid styled games since my last playthrough, but I can't complain.
I'm curious if anyone has had a similar experience returning to this game after a long stretch?
Remade the Carriage for the Spirit Train the other day, i am looking to explore more with this and trying to get it to run on a track inside Unreal Engine.

I'm curious how opinions differ between the BOTW, TOTK, and general Zelda communities. I'm posting the same poll in each subreddit to compare results.
Please vote based on which game you consider better overall, not simply which one you played first. I'd also love to hear your reasoning in the comments.
I'll share the results after voting closes.

A few years back I learned Sky Guitar’s arrangement of Gerudo Valley, but it since got removed and I’m devastated! This one had a chokehold on me and the other arrangements out there aren’t what I want. If anyone saved the video or the tabs away somewhere, please share with me!

Hello everyone so I just OoT for the first time and it was a great game loved the whole gameplay mechanics and ending just all of it. But I hear MM is quite harder to play with the gameplay and all. I would love to hear any tips or tricks and how was your first experience with the gameplay ?!

I originally posted this yesterday but here's my take on Kaepora Gaebora's theme as a Colombian Cumbia. If you like this take, you can find my socials over at linktr.ee/audiomocha, I've got loads of Zelda things there that I've forgotten to post here.

I’ve been trying to figure out from which website the tickets will go online for the upcoming concerts in Japan. Found out from a suspicious site the general sale for the Japanese concerts will begin on November the 18th? Anybody know if this is correct and from which website the tickets are gonna be sold? I missed to register for the lottery, did you have to do that to be able to try to buy tickets from the general sale?

So about 14 years ago I found this very awesome cover of the Zelda main theme on a synthesizer on Youtube and haven’t found the video since. I still think about the video from time to time. Maybe someone in this sub remembers it?
It‘s one person playing synthesizers in four splitscreens. So for every part of the orchestra they had one synthesizer part. The video quality wasn‘t the best, but I remember being really blown away by the skills of this person. Of course this might be my skewed perception as a teenager back then.
Does anyone remember a video or creator / artist that might fit this from around that time? I would be so happy to listen to this cover again!

Hello!
I'm trying to find an old fan animation centred around an owl in a forest raising Dark Link. I cannot remember it very well, which is part of why I'm struggling to find it, but I believe it was black and white, possibly an animatic rather than full animated, and I think it was a mini-series consisting of a few episodes (maybe left on a cliff hanger too?). Title may have the words 'shadow' or 'dark' in it, but with so many fan animations made of Dark Link and LoZ in general, it's not showing up. I watched it on Youtube around a decade ago, so it could have been removed, but I'm hoping it's still up if anyone can help locate it.
Thanks in advance!

I am so excited to play the ocarina of time remake. I have my Best Buy preorder for pick up 9 pm on 11/4. I feel as though such an occasion warrants an outfit. I am not much of a cosplayer but I would love to buy some current or vintage Zelda merchandise to wear.
Considering going classic green shirt khaki shorts but open to suggestions.

We all know the Maggie-Moe side quest in Wind Waker, and the letter she receives back from him always stuck with me. For a reminder:
This is Moe. I... like... you... ...Ma...ggie... ...so...much...that... ...I...want...to... ...eat you...for dinner."
It seems obvious what his intentions were, but I was really thinking: do you think Moe did love Maggie and think this was just some kind of flirting or do you think he truly did want to eat her all this time.
I know the latter option is the most obvious, considering he's a moblin, the letter, and the fact Maggie never leaves and stays with her father sort of tells me the developers didn't want people to worry about Maggie's safety, but on the other, it feels kind of rude to just assume he's malicious just cause he's a moblin. Maybe we're misinterpreting what he means.
I wanna know what you all think, though.
