Spoilers
As of right now, almost everything that happens from chapter 2 onwards should be considered a spoiler, unless it is revealed in trailers (e.g. we all know the champions are going to join and be recruitable, that isn't a spoiler).
Speaking of spoiler tags, they look like this: >!Spoiler goes here!<. Using these tags produces the following: Spoiler goes here.

Fanart Breath of the Wild - by Pifelca (commissioned by me)
This is a jaw dropping piece made by the incredible artist Pifelca (https://www.instagram.com/pifelca?) which I
commissioned
The idea was to create one singular image that represents the whole of Breath of the Wild in one larger than life piece.
The goal was to pack as much detail in it so the viewers eyes go into a little adventure just exploring everything,! cannot believe how good it came out
This piece was done in honor a project of mine, a video series that took me 9 months to do called The Immersive Playthrough, filled with original animations sand stories for BotW
I made a 1 hour version of this series for those that want a much more condensed version:)

Question Ancient overclock unit base power
So, im currently grinding max power weapons, and im confused about the ancient overclock unit. The internet says 61 is the highest base power, i just got a 65, so whats going on? I forget, is the info just old (pre-dlc)? And if so, whats the actual max?

Discussion I finished Apocalyptic Difficulty 100% on a fresh file and all weapons with a value of 80 for each character. And regarding the future Calamity Mode. Spoiler
Divine Beast missions or the main quest missions where you save the champions are going to be next completely impossible or possible with extremely little room for error.
You're going to grind if you want a winning chance.
If you have unlocked the food the boosts Sheikah Rune attack power, then S.R!Zelda will be your hardest damage dealer.
They need to update the game you can actually farm all food ingredients like Wheat and Salt Rock.

Discussion PSA for folks with physical who are thinking about getting Definitive Edition
If you trade in at GameStop you can get almost $20 in credit alone for AoC. Then you can buy $30 of eshop credit and effectively manufacture your own greater discount. Essentially making it close to the price of a $10 upgrade. For me it will be even less since I have Pro and a standing preorder that will boost the credit more. Plus since you can only pre order right now, you can just go through the game and put in the pre order before you trade it in, which locks in the discount price even after you delete the Switch version from your console.
I know this might not be an ideal route for everyone. Still figured I would share this thought since with them both handling this Switch 2 upgrade so poorly imo and also the physical release being a Game Key Card, that going this way about it at least can let you purchase it for even cheaper.

Theory I think I figured out why it’s a rerelease instead of a ns2 edition
So, a question I see a lot is why is it a rerelease with a discount instead of an ns2 edition? So, I thought about it, and this is my answer. Many people when this game first released complained about performance issues, leading them to just stay away from it. So by rereleasing it as a $60 game, I think the primary audience is people who wanted to play AOC but weren’t fully satisfied with it gameplay wise. That’s why it’s a definitive edition for 60: to get people satisfied with a good price and a good game. Ofc, they could have done something better with pricing the game for people like us, but this was their solution.

Discussion The worst part of AoC: The Definitive Edition
The worst part is that you get no extra discount for the definitive edition if you already bought the DLC in addition to the base game, while those who have only the base game will be able to access its content in the Defintive Edition at no additional cost.
Honestly this could have been a Switch 2 edition, but Koei Tecmo would rather release a whole new version for more profit.

Discussion Warning about the Expansion Pass
I just bought the Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity Expansion Pass on Switch 1, but there's a warning at the bottom that says "This downloadable content is only compatible with the full version of the game purchased on this same Nintendo eShop."
I think this means the DLC will only work with a digital copy of the game. I have a physical copy, but I'm too lazy to test this out so I don't know if I just wasted $14 or not. Just beware of the potential incompatibility before you buy the DLC.
The confusing part is there's no other option in the eShop? So what, owners of the physical cartridge can no longer buy the DLC? Does that mean the DLC just got delisted from Switch 1? Like ???
Edit: I just tested it, the DLC works just fine, thankfully. But the wording on the eShop is needlessly confusing. I also bought DLC for Splatoon 3 and Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and those descriptions have a simpler statement saying "you need the base game" with no distinction between digital or physical versions. So false alarm, everyone.

Question Can someone please explain this about the definitive edition?
I'm not a native speaker, so I'm having a hard time fully understanding this. I bought the physical version of AoC on the original Switch back in the day. Will there be some kind of paid upgrade path to the Definitive Edition, like with TotK, where existing owners could pay a smaller fee for the Switch 2 enhancements? Or would I have to buy the entire game again?
I don't remember if I bought the DLC at the time, but I'm not sure I can justify rebuying the whole game. It would seem a little ridiculous if there's no upgrade option when other Zelda games allowed existing owners to upgrade for a relatively small fee.
Sorry if this has been asked a thousand times already. I just can't seem to find a clear answer!

Discussion Age of Calamity Discount - Buy or wait?
Hi all!
So I need some feedback.
AOC is on sale now via Nintendo Store. It includes the base game + DLC. $55.98
Or $41.99 without the DLC.
Should I buy now and I will get a free update when the new “version “ comes out in February? Will I still have to pay for the new update and if so, how much?
Nintendo isn’t clear whatsoever about this.
I just wonder when to pull the trigger.
Thanks all!

Question Conflicting Information on Upgrade Path?
I just want some clarification; is this like Hogwarts Legacy, where if you have a physical Switch 1 edition, you can buy the separate standalone Switch 2 digital edition for a discounted price ($30)? I've seen a lot of conflicting reports and some that call it an 'upgrade,' for example. But with Hogwarts Legacy, I think non-owners could get the discounted price on a digital copy of the game by borrowing a physical copy and paying for the 'upgrade,' without necessarily needing to keep/own the original physical copy.

Discussion How long did it take you to get the max Savage Lynels?
So I was already looking for another game when the 85 Spear dropped on me. I think that would last me a couple more weeks of grinding EX FMG.
So how long did it take everybody to get all three? Or when did you know it was time to stop?

Theory You know what would be ironic?

Info Regarding the Lucky Ladle
Hey there! With the announcement of the Definitive Edition, I’m curious if the Lucky Ladle would be included in the package or not. Missed the pre-order when it originally came out, so just curious if it’s here or not. Thanks so much!
