Maps Interactive Map Website for Adventure Mode
I've made a website for interactive maps for the adventure mode of the definitive edition for the switch!
Links:
- You can find the website hosted on github pages here
- If you find any errors or you want something to be added, feel free to comment below or open an issue on the github
This is a project I've made out of fun and interest. You can find any sources I used on the page itself, but I mainly used SBAllen's Unlockable Guide for the information. So its more like a visual implementation of that guide :)
Mobile Layout is not perfect yet, best to use on desktop.
I want to use this website for my own replay of the game, but wanted to share it, if someone needs something like this too.
Edit:
I've now added a list of good farming locations for materials, too!
You can find it in the header of the page.
Choose a character you want to farm materials from and the list on the right side will update.
The recommended farming spots are marked in blue.
You can also click on the Adventure Map location (e.g. [A1]) to search for it on the map itself.
Edit #2: Legend Mode is now added too! The website will show you all of the requirements and locations of the heartpieces/heartcontainers and skulltulas in Legend Mode.
Edit #3 (2025-07-03):
I've now added a MyFairy Calculator to the site!
It helps you plan your fairy's refresh cycles based on its starting traits and supports you in unlocking all available skills and perfecting your fairy.
The calculator focuses on unlocking the 10 core skills needed to reach all other abilities.
Note: It does not optimize for food consumption, but instead generates a refresh-efficient plan that aims to unlock all skills in as few cycles as possible.
You’ll find it in the header menu as well.

HW: DE What's the best early exp spots in Hyrule warriors definitive edition early on and best food farms early on as well?
- I know that the adventure battle: prevent reinforcements from arriving very early on into the adventure map one is good. It's at the start of the map right of the duel with the dragon knight fight. With the fight mentioned at the starting line being able to get you from level 1 to 20 pretty quickly. Since you can kill a lot of enemies and get a good deal of exp early from it. In less than 5 to 10 minutes or so with any character. Especially if you have exp+ plus on a weapon.
Are there any better exp farming spots early on than this? Since i tried the early Termina ones, the killing enemies one right of the starting wind waker map. They are a lot slower in comparision for some reason. Or they just outright needed some like the true partners map. As opposed to how it was in the Wii U version.
- Are there any good farming spots for food very early on? I know grand travels doubles the food drop rates. Since there has to be one that you can easily farm very early on. Even if it's just basic bronze stuff.

HW: DE Does anyone know some stuff like this that is more experienced than i am help me in Hyrule warriors definitive edition?
- Like what's the earliest farming spot in the game before you beat Legend Mode? Since the true partners stuff requires you to get all of the easy/normal and the first two hard/Hero skulltulas. That's pretty late into the game. The master quest farming spot that most people use is hard to get to. And is pretty late into the game.
Are there any good farming spots very early on into the game that more experience people know about? How good are the termina rupee competition and master quest wind waker A3 spot here in the upper left part of this map. https://fabian-f.github.io/HyruleWarriorsHelper/map/master-wind-waker/A3?search=C1
- What's the quickest spot you can get to early on in order to get hot spring water from the Termina Adventure map? Since there's two spots you can get it on the map. The north one. https://fabian-f.github.io/HyruleWarriorsHelper/map/termina/I1
And the south one. https://fabian-f.github.io/HyruleWarriorsHelper/map/termina/G8
Since this is needed to get in order to do the tingle food farming on the grand travels map. Since it's the best fire food for loyla. Since you can power through somewhat more challenging stuff than you should early on. Like you can get Marin as a level 1-4 after you beat the prologue. Essentially getting a level 15 character extremely early on in less than 5 to 10 minutes after beating her stage.
Along with you being able to level up some characters like Link using training dojo up a few levels that way. Since the training dojo only let's you level up characters to the character that has the highest level you have currently in the game.
Or being the early stages of the great sea map. Since the game wants you to beat the entire main campaign and the first wind waker story in order to get the hammer. So you can best the bird at thr start of the great sea map board. You can power through that by using any characters focus spirit to force down him immediately to hurt him. The easiest character to use for this is Young Link.
- What's the best spot for the most general materials you can get for characters in order to fill up there badges early on? I know the Twilight Adventure Map doubles material drops. Are there any specifics spots for the best overall materials to get for a lot of characters in a single stage?

Wii U Should I add a Randomizer to the Hyrule Warriors Editor?
The Hyrule Warriors Scenario Editor has come a long way since I started working on it, and I had possibly a very dumb idea to bake into it. A Randomizer!
I'm sure many of you are familiar with Zelda randomizers, Pokemon randomizers, and that kind of stuff. But this has never been done for Hyrule Warriors, and with the current state of the editor I could write a function to randomize the following things:
All Units and their teams (including their squad/grunt units)
Keeps teams, health, defenders, and elemental barriers
Outposts teams and defenders
Gates
Technically Spawn Coordinates (though this could easily lead to softlocks)
Obviously these different things could be toggled to customize what gets randomized and how.
Anyone have any other ideas for this? I've never worked on making a randomizer before so this would be a BIG task for me.

Question I love HW:DE and really enjoyed AOC, but is AOI worth the price?
The title. I've been loving the saga since it came out, but I've heard not so wonderful things about AOI. On the one hand I'm pretty excited to play as Rauru, Sonia, Mineru among others... but on the other hand it's what, like 60/70€ or $? I don't want to be disappointed and waste my money.

HW: DE Is there any way to farm easy exp in Hyrule warriors definitive edition on the switch?
Is there any way to farm easy exp in Hyrule warriors definitive edition on the switch? Since most exp farms are either after you beat the game or you have to be super strong first.
Are there any solid exp farms you can do early in the game?

HW: DE Is there a mod or anything for the OG Hyrule Warriors that fixes the tiny UI?
Trying to actually play this on my Switch is so painful because everything is so tiny.

Question Which game should I play next?
Hello y'all! I recently finished Age of imprisonment and I'm wondering which one of the games I should get next?
The main reason I got AoI is because I was interested in the story of TotK, but I got invested in the gameplay and was wondering which one of the other two games I should get.

How do I know which one to get for these characters? Like would they be in normal or hard mode? Thanks for the tips in advance!

HW: DE Can't get A rank with Midona on Adventure Map "warriors of Skyloft"
Hello,
I'm playing the first adventure mode map. And I can't for the life of me get an A-rank with Midona on the square that is at the bottom, and two squares from the right side (I don't know if you call it "O8" or "H14").
You must capture all keeps in under 15 minutes. The thing is, the captured keeps get captured back by the enemies so fast that I have to recapture at least 6 keeps, which makes it really long. I've managed at my best to do it in 16 minutes but it was once.
Am I missing something ? I try to kill the siege captains as soon as possible but that's not enough. And I don't think grinding more levels will do anything...
EDIT : I got it. Here's where I was wrong. You don't need to capture all keeps but only the four that are indicated.

Question Weapon skill unlock grinding
What adventure map mission is good for grinding out weapon unlock KOs? Preferably without any giant bosses...
I have a lot of weapons with 2000-5000 skill unlocks for every character, and each character has around 17-20 weapons already...

Question Which game to buy
Hello, i know this question is asked often in this sub, but i plan on buying a hyrule warriors game for my recently bought switch 2.
I have no experience with the series at all, neither have i played many games of the main Zelda series before.
My only experience with the genre are One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 and 4.
Im kinda struggling to decide whether buying AOI or waiting for the release of the definitive edition of Age of Calamaty.
For my personal enjoyment, gameplay and performance are the key factors that let me enjoy such games. I dont have a deeper connection to the hyrule franchise at all, just think that from watching videos, both seem to be a lot of fun.
Thanks in advance for your opinions:)

AoC Age of Calamity weapon help
I'm working on figuring out and maximizing Link's weapons in Age of Calamity, and... I've run into a snag! I'm trying to figure out what weapon to choose for two-handed and for spear, and I've got each down to two options... but... I don't know which to go for, and I can't find the information I need anywhere! First of all, I am NOT going for Savage Lynel gear. Sorry, just not wanting a monster exclusive weapon. I've narrowed it down to either the Royal Guard set or the Guardian++ set. I keep seeing things describing a weapon's "base attack" but I'm not sure if that's referring to highest potential attack power once fully leveled up... or if it's highest potential attack power at level one... or if it's just some sort of average! I need to know the highest POTENTIAL power for EACH of the four! I know that just because a weapon STARTS OUT with high power doesn't mean it'll GROW very much! I also need to know where to find and how to acquire the most powerful level one version of each of the four! Can anyone help me out here?! Please?! I'm at my wits' end!

Adventure map,Lana
Hello. I have beaten the other tiles around this one but I can’t use items like a compass and it says I can’t explore this map yet.
UPDATE: Thank you for your help everyone. I needed to use the hook shot and beat the level underneath again (beat three bosses in ten minutes)

Question Started playing adventure map, have a few questions to ask about how stuff works
So, my crush very close friend who has beaten the game several times recently got me back into this game, and I’m having fun (when there isn’t a hundred captains or champions in danger at once), but there are a handful of questions I’d like to ask about the specific ins and outs of the mechanics, if you all wouldn’t mind.
1: can fairy food be dropped by enemies, or do I need to replay the maps I unlocked it on to get more??
2: do gold skultulas really not unlock anything that can help me in battle, or should I be going after them?
3: on maps where there is a lot going on, ie the match starts with all armies having troop everywhere and you need to spend several minutes just running around standing in everyone’s blue circle of rescue healing before you have time to kill a single enemy, is there a shortcut or is the running around required? I very much despise these maps, as I have a hard time keeping up with my army (everything happens at once and I usually have a hard time finding my guys before they die then I loose 5 times because allied base fell)
4: does having Ghirahim on my team also put another ghirahim on the enemy team because betrayal? I keep trying to make him work (I like skyward sword). It this keeps happening and my friend says I shouldn’t use him.
5: is it true Wizzro is the worst character in the game?
6: where get Goron tunic for link? I like the gorons.

HW: DE Need help with adventure mode
So, I thought I’d sit down and start the slow grind, I’ve gotten all weapons, and skulltulas. I figured I’d start with the fairy stuff next, HOWEVER. it almost looks like the fairy food RESPAWNS on the map. Am I not collecting/unlocking new fairy foods? It feels like I’m going crazy. I figured I’d take the heart pieces and containers last so I could level up characters while doing the fairy part of the map. Please help 😭 ~ 🧚

AoI Aside quest "discovery"
Turns out, "defeat [enemy] as [character]" aside quests do not require you to be playing the character, and can instead be resolved by killing the enemy with a sync strike alongside that character.
I learned this because I couldn't find a frost talus anywhere but the Rito Village story mission, but even if you've unlocked him you can't select Vence to be playable in said mission.
