Dinner is left over delicious buffalo wings. 😋

So a couple of weeks ago, me and a friend were talking about rom coms, and I told her about this movie called “Peter and Vandy” and basically told her it shows relationships in an interesting light.

We hung out tonight, and while we were catching up, she told me she watched the movie with her boyfriend, and while watching it, she realized that she related to the female character in the scenes where the male character was being especially emotionally abusive.

She specifically mentioned the scene where the female lead is making a sandwich, and her boyfriend verbally berates her for using two knives to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

She told me she kept telling the girl in the movie to walk away, and then she realized she was that girl.

Tbh, this guy was complete trash, and regardless of how she got there, I’m glad she finally did.

Edit: I do want to add that I purposely recommend this movie to her, hoping this would be the result. Which is a very manipulative thing to do, we did discuss this.
