I met nick before I was on a show with him off camera. We did a little project in vegas for 2 weeks and mostly off camera. He was fun to be around, genuine and honestly, just a normal person. Fans from our shows were coming up to us, he was so kind, took pics with all of them and then....
I was on a show called Battle Camp with him as his direct opponent. I was blue team, he was red.
Still, nick was kind to everyone.
After our show aired I spent 4 days in LA with my cast just hanging out off camera, going to events etc. Nick was always a joy to be around, making others laugh, dancing, being goofy and mostly just easy going. He gets along with everyone, nobody dislikes him...
It genuinely made me sad watching this play out because I feel like the experts were not there to help. Reality shows often do this where they edit things to place seeds of doubt for the audience that were never there: i.e. them acting like it was a concern that nick had done other shows.
I suspect that they literally cast him for that specifically so they could play on that narrative- smart move marketing wise but dumb person to choose because out of anyone I know that's been on 4 shows, nick is DEFINITELY not a guy u can pin that narrative on...
anywho.. I watched this season just to cheer nick on and I'm really sad this was the outcome. At least in the past the experts actually tried to help. very disappointing.
just wanted to stand up for him here. thats all
