Season 20 - Seattle Courtney is insufferable

Post image

Her lack of self awareness and aggressive delusion is off the charts.

I have a hard time believing this woman will ever be happy. Maybe if she can fully castrate her partner she will be happy, but I doubt it.

What kind of a man is attracted to her masculine, aggressive, and belittling behavior?

It’s like they went out of their way to find people this season who were going to be “interesting”, and ended up sticking some of the poor guys with women who weren’t ready for relationships just for entertainment purposes.

With how many applicants the show purports to get, I feel confident that they could’ve matched everyone with emotionally healthy people who were completely ready for marriage, thereby not screwing anyone over. However, then the ratings might not be as good (in their minds). Call me crazy, but I’d like to see a season like that!

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

thank god she ended it . she would have killed spirit

Her entire personality is that of a LOT of fitness/bodybuilding people. The “supplements” as well as aggressive working out can cause certain voice and personality characteristics. I’m not accusing her of abusing anything, by all means, but I 100% believe she’s on something like testosterone or HGH (because I’ve rarely met someone in that field who wasn’t), and it can cause aggressiveness. And make no bones about it, she is aggressive and I don’t care what that word “implies.” Her actions and even tone are the definition of aggression.

Totally Clueless about how insufferable and narcissistic she is. She communicates like a teenager and can't see the message is diluted through her constant swearing. Fine if that who she is but she signed up to be in a relationship with another person. I am not saying Nick is perfect but he was very calm considering she was so aggressive.

Hear me out. I know everyone is riding for Nick, but Courtenay strikes me as someone whose nervous system is completely dysregulated by this process. To me, her constant interrupting and intense energy look a lot like neurodivergence or a trauma response. She seems like she desperately needs people in her life who will give her unconditional acceptance so she can finally ground herself. Also, can we blame her for being self-protective? Knowing her history and knowing Nick has a track record of being on multiple reality shows, it makes total sense why she’s hyper-vigilant. She's protecting herself the only way she knows how.Anyone else seeing the vulnerability beneath the defense mechanisms?

2

u/Puzzled-Age2893 19d ago

Protecting oneself doesn’t excuse you from treating another person like crap. She’s also such a hypocrite towards Nick. I’m watching an episode now where Nick is telling her that “like you’ve said, it does take time to get comfortable with someone.” And OMG she had the audacity to say back to him: “You are, like, married to me. So there’s really no reason not to be comfortable.” 🤯

2

u/Apprehensive-Put-737 21d ago

her nervous system didn’t disregulate the moment she entered the show so she should’ve figured that out before entering into a lifelong commitment. also, not an excuse for belittling people and making them feel like less than. she wanted nick to “open up” to her because apparently he wasn’t giving enough, but how could he when she would shut him down immediately and tell him that he was essentially wrong for how HE FELT. even when he got teary eyed after they split and told her even though it didn’t work out he still appreciated her throughout the process, she asked him “why are you crying now” and shut his feelings down then. she’s way too aggressive, masculine, and belittling as a person. he needs someone who is soft and will nurture him the way that he desires. it’s not even about male vs female at that point. NO HUMAN would want to be spoken to the way that she did to him. i’m glad she cut it that night. she saved him.

3

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

she’s a true narcissist. gaslights him to believe she’s trying. projects who she is onto him and if he expresses how he feels she is disgustingly disrespectful and doesn’t validate it just speaks about herself claiming she wants to be loved

3

u/YamLazy9527 Sep 10 '26

Could be try that she’s struggling to regulate, and that doesn’t excuse her behavior. She needs to figure herself out. Continuing to claim that he’s not being genuine was extremely off. Seems like her perception truly was warped.

u/MasterAsk2474 Aug 31 '26

I was happy to hear Adam say she would have not last one week with him. Very unhappy and unpleasant woman. To be so young and so miserable. What a shame.

3

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

a life of misery

2

u/SchoolOfLife502 Aug 30 '26

Also how old is she?

6

u/FrodoDeBaggins Sep 02 '26

28 going on 58.

2

u/Puzzled-Age2893 19d ago

Seems more like 28 going on 3 lol

3

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

i thought she was 48

3

u/SchoolOfLife502 Aug 30 '26

Does she even like men? Is she even straight? She doesn’t know it yet

6

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

no woman who behaves this way likes men. she was so cruel to this poor man for no reason whatever so ever and took any opportunity to speak badly about him to anyone that would listen . saying another man is not

5

u/ApprehensiveFish5866 Aug 29 '26

The ladies and experts let her get away with be mean. The fact I'm on the side of these idiots calling her out says a lot

2

u/Puzzled-Age2893 19d ago

I got SO annoyed at the experts when they never called Courtney out on the fact that she couldn’t get through one get together without trashing Nick to whoever would listen to her. She even did it when he was sitting right next to her! She was searching for someone to agree with her but couldn’t even find that person amongst her own family. Her brother in law (I think that’s who that man was) had a great look on his face that read “ugh, she’s pulling this %!*# again.”

4

u/Clos_714 Aug 29 '26

Did anybody notice how she didn’t apologize for her behavior, she stood 10 toes down saying “this is the way I am and “ sorry.. you felt that way Nick..” and when Nikki went off on Shawn for doing the same with her mom, Shawn said “ sorry you felt that way..”.
At the reunion The women didn’t hold Courtney accountable for her bad behavior and the therapist too!

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

agree no one has called her out

3

u/Good_Let_5839 Aug 29 '26

She's a perfect example of someone who hasn't had enough relationship experience to understand what you can't have EVERYTHING you want in a partner - not to be confused with having standards/dealbreakers. To be fair, Nick is attractive but very boring

2

u/Puzzled-Age2893 19d ago

I think part of why he seemed boring is because in the beginning whenever he did anything that wasn’t polished or manly, she teased him….and not in a playful, flirty way. So he just started shutting down more and more. I wish we could’ve seen what he was like if they had put him with someone who wasn’t completely awful.

1

u/Apprehensive-Put-737 21d ago

she didn’t even give him the opportunity to show his entire self because she shut him down early. why would this man want to be vulnerable with her and open up if that’s the reaction he gets everytime? to be fair, i don’t think we got to see his full personality enough to call him boring. her personality was so domineering that she overshadowed his. even when the experts asked him a question related to HIS past (which she wasn’t there for) she took center stage to explain what happened. He was very patient with her despite how aggressive and cold she was.

3

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

this is actually true. didn’t think of this. she stated her last so called relationship he cheated on her. it’s giving she was a side chick and likes men who are the life of the party of treat woman poorly. she also stated her boyfriends never came around her family . that’s not a real boyfriend. she’s delusional

7

u/HeterodoxDanG Aug 29 '26

He was super funny and charming with her family. It's hard not to be boring when you're on guard all the time.

7

u/Big_Temperature_2197 Aug 28 '26

I get not being romantic or into much physical touch. Lord knows my significant other is the romantic one, but you also don’t have to be a di** about not being physically affectionate.

1

u/IlBlueberrylI Aug 28 '26

Gives beans from love is blind energy

4

u/dmfuller Aug 28 '26

Yeah she has a really rough personality tbh

3

u/Fast_Hippo_7730 Aug 28 '26

It’s giving “he’s 24 and I’m 34”

3

u/dappledtiger Aug 27 '26

So... she's a bodybuilder and has bodybuilder parents. I'm guessing it has been a way of life with her. With the way she talks so fast, is so aggressive, and doesn't seem mentally well-balanced, I wonder if there could be some kind of steroid abuse at play. I have ZERO knowledge of what that could look like, but it keeps crossing my mind.

Or maybe abusing testosterone?? IDK...

2

u/Adorable_Pea_8 Sep 06 '26

I was thinking steroids or maybe Dad wanted a second son, got a daughter, but he ended up treating her like a son.

1

u/liddomeow Aug 28 '26

I had the same thoughts. I also thought she sounded kinda raspy but maybe it’s just how she talks

4

u/FluxitUnfiltered Aug 28 '26

She was oddly quiet for the reunion. As much as I think Adam is an opportunistic pig, I did love that he made her realize that he would never be attracted to her!

4

u/Shadowak47 Aug 28 '26

It was hilarious watching her cry about Adam saying he beat her in pickelball, then watch everyone say that was rude, then have her claim that she was better, only for him to demand she tell him what the score was from their 1 vs 1! I cant stand Adam, but hey, he was like the perfect person for this situation specifically.

7

u/Sad-Explanation5046 Aug 24 '26

Courtney needs counseling and to learn it's not only about herself, also to realize others have different needs. She seems to want to have everything HER WAY. Sorry, it doesn't work like that.

9

u/_BlushAndBite_ Aug 22 '26

If she castrates him, she will shame him for being castrated

17

u/Narcissistsafety Aug 22 '26

She lacked any self awareness and was just a projecting asshole. She clearly had no interest in her match but wouldn’t admit it and blamed him every turn—her telling him “fuck you” at the end was such a c*nt move

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

that was disgusting and immature . he did nothing to deserve that

3

u/Crochetgardendog Aug 31 '26

It was as if she asked him to be himself and vulnerable just so she could cut him as soon as he was. She’s a nasty piece of work. For the few people here who criticized her as masculine, that is grossly unfair. Many men are kind, tender, and sensitive… so to say her bad behavior is masculine isn’t fair to men. She’s just mean.

2

u/Narcissistsafety Aug 31 '26

Yea she is not a good person—she behaved that way on camera so I’m sure her behavior off camera is vile.
Shes not masculine, she just lifts weights but she’s tiny and feminine! I actually think she uses her femininity to harbor sympathy while trying to paint Nick as the mean one. She couldn’t just admit she wasn’t in to him—she’s a coward.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

bingo. she didn’t like him but didn’t want to be the bad person

13

u/Worried-Mood-3126 Aug 22 '26

I was SO SAD when at the end he tried to express gratitude for the process after and she was like OH NOW YOU OPEN UP?! Poor man… he seemed defeated the whole season with her incessant back-and-forthing and vague complaints about what wanted from him until the very end…

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

she didn’t even have the decency to hear that part.

2

u/Plane-Emotion-9252 Aug 21 '26

what a narcissistic a hole wow

6

u/Ok-Relationship-9717 Aug 21 '26

When she ever said, I deserve more ..yeah that was it for me. That poor man deserved more! Even despite his pool reality show choices. He was a good guy and had a lot of good things going for him. Even her family saw it! She wanted them to find something wrong and they couldn’t. Meanwhile, I think it was just a lot wrong with her. She was just a 48 looking 28 year old, with a “conservative” attitude, bodybuilders form, and narcissist freak personality disorder clearly, He deserved better girl!.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

the exact read i was thinking . i felt so so bad for him. woman like this hate good men . if he was felipe she would be crying over him

1

u/Expensive-Value-1592 Aug 28 '26

I was thinking the same thing because she did not look like an average 28 year old. She looked more like a 40+ woman 🤣

10

u/intotheshadows05 Aug 21 '26

Oh my GOD at first I thought they'd be great for one another, but that ended real fast. And even now I just am so confused wtf she was doing on this show. The marriage didn't work because you're NUTS. It has nothing to do with her being independent. She cut Nick down every step of the way.... wanted him to give her responses but then wouldn't let him freaking TALK. Nick isn't perfect, but she definitely snatched the light from him real fast.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

i feel bad for any man that would be with her

3

u/Sad-Explanation5046 Aug 24 '26

I 100% agree. She was worried about him being on all these reality shows, but her lack of effort makes me wonder if that's what she wants to do? To be on reality TV because it seems to be ALL about her.

10

u/TieFighter1991 Aug 21 '26

She kinda seems like a tweaker 😬

4

u/alphagina Aug 25 '26

Definitely

8

u/Reallywhat4 Aug 21 '26

I'm so glad they broke up because I have NO doubt...Courtney's aggression would have escalated to the point I would fear for Nicks safety..

This woman is psychotic and dangerous.. Her manic delusions were so toxic.. Nick dodged a bullet .literally.

That "fuckyou" out of nowhere was so randomly aggressive... Shame on the therapists NEVER calling her out on her ABUSIVE behavior.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

very true. she would have eventually put her hands on him

16

u/taracita Aug 20 '26

I have never disliked a reality television personality more than Courtney. Her negativity and just general meanness was relentless! I couldn’t believe that no one said anything when she said “fuck you” to Nick in front of the entire group.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

she lives rent free in my mind lol. i wish i was there i would have set her straight

3

u/Delicious-Section529 Aug 30 '26

hmmm. I don't know if I dislike her as much as Ellie, Camille, or Ashley from the Below Deck franchises - but those were desperate pick-me girls; Courtney is mean for only one reason and that she is majorly insecure and mad at everyone for expecting her to act like an adult in a marriage. Cuz her behavior seems reminiscent of a mean girl in high school energy who's parents refuse to buy her three dresses for junior prom so she can have costume changes. That's the energy simply in a different lane. Cuz she does not come off as she is vain, as much as she is controlling, demeaning, obtuse, and judgmental while breaking down and crying anytime she gets angry about explaining her behavior.

5

u/Mysterious-Novel-245 Aug 20 '26

The “fuck you” was crazy

9

u/FluxitUnfiltered Aug 20 '26

I agree. It’s ridiculous that she is never really confronted by the therapists for her behavior. In fact, they have doubled down on what a great and authentic person she is post production interviews!

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

they pissed me off with this . what kind of therapist or match makers would allow this

12

u/ElectricLavender4242 Aug 19 '26

I truly hate to hate on other women, but any time any criticism was put towards her the defensiveness and deflecting were wild. When one of the others dared say she wasn't putting in work she threw Nick under the bus, when Nick hadn't said anything... She could criticize and be mean to him all day long, but the second he said something she exploded.

9

u/3llaaa Aug 19 '26

She says something really fucking rude and then laughs and then twitches and then goes on a whole other rant. What’s up with this person

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

also cries and then is asking adam for a pickle ball match

10

u/3llaaa Aug 19 '26

She is one of the most insufferable people I’ve ever witnessed on reality tv.

10

u/Smooth_Range5330 Aug 19 '26

INSUFFERABLE

8

u/BelligerentNixster Basic caucasian sex Aug 19 '26

I hear she's a 'slow burn'.

1

u/Remarkable-Durian235 Aug 23 '26

lol. Thats word on the street!

5

u/SouthernGal1010 Aug 19 '26

And loves "hunky" men 🤣

2

u/AppropriateTop9406 Aug 19 '26

I feel LIB did Nick Dirty! I thought LC was a perfect Match for Nick. A girl with similar qualities would have worked for him!

13

u/Usual_Maintenance Aug 18 '26

I’m no prude with my language but Courteney’s incessant swearing really bothers me. Does she think it’s a flex? Does she think it makes her seem self assured? It comes across so ugly and so aggressive. I’m surprised Nick or the experts don’t call her out. Again, this is not about being prudish, she just has to come in at a F-CKING 11!!!! when she could come in at a 3

2

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

i agree. i curse but there is a time and place . wish i didn’t actually. it’s giving uneducated

1

u/Crochetgardendog Aug 31 '26

It’s because she uses the cussing in a mean way that makes it worse than usual.

9

u/Tinkerbell0101 Aug 19 '26

Don't need to be a "prude" to be Jarred by her language. It is extremely brash and makes her look really immature. It seems like a coping mechanism similar to little dog syndrome. Where the small dogs bark the most, because that's all they have. It's really off-putting.

6

u/zero_and_dug Aug 18 '26

It was jarring whenever she did it

6

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '26

[deleted]

1

u/Odd_Revolution4149 Aug 23 '26

I wondered that myself.

3

u/BrilliantBreadfruit6 Aug 18 '26

And Courteney said she didn’t event want to live in Oregon either unless she had kids! She has some self work to do, she saw a problem with everything Nick did. You could also tell she was trying to drop hints at Adam that she would be a good match for him. But spoiler alert I don’t think Adam is attracted to her so he didn’t even register her flirting.

15

u/chronicallysaltyCF Aug 18 '26

As a lesbian myself… I think she could possibly be a lesbian. I say this because every lesbian I know (myself included) who has tried to be in a relationship with a man is constantly just unhappy, constantly nitpicking, hands off, intimacy averse, and really has a my-way-or-the-highway attitude because breaking up means nothing, because as much as we think we are invested, we aren’t; we don’t care. We can break up, and it means nothing because we never really had those feelings in the first place as much as we tried to convince ourselves we did. And we don’t even realize this until after we come out and start dating women and go, ohhhh, this is what it actually feels like, and then we are invested and compromising and all the things that we couldn’t be with a man.

I feel like I am not explaining well, but Courtney feels a bit like this to me. Very possible she is not gay; she just needs therapy, but I am currently on episode 8, and gay but hasn’t come to terms with it yet is the vibe I am getting from her so far.

2

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

my boyfriend said this because he dated someone like her and i think suspected that she was a lesbian. for you to notice this she definitely is

3

u/ScoreNumerous Aug 27 '26

I said this to my husband too. She doesn't actually seem to get satisfaction from relationships with men. But she's probably also maga so..

6

u/FluxitUnfiltered Aug 20 '26

This same conversation has been brought up by others earlier in this thread. It would explain her anger and constant irritation too. If that’s the case, I feel for her. She’s a MAGA too!

3

u/SouthernGal1010 Aug 19 '26

I thought the exact same thing as I've been there myself!

4

u/Odd-Investigator-469 Aug 19 '26

You nailed her to a T. This explanation makes sense 100%.

3

u/National-Car3628 Aug 18 '26

I agree. It's definitely a possibility.

23

u/ProfessionalMoose589 Aug 18 '26

Can we talk about how she keeps saying she’s goofy and playful and I have not seen a smidge of playfulness or goofiness in her. Does she know what being silly means?

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

she only has fun when she’s or with him. but also seems like she goes wild at bars

7

u/Firm_Junket6255 Aug 18 '26

No comments on her mom’s Karen hairdo or Courtney’s weird Adderall hands?

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

once i saw her mom . i saw where it came from 😂

5

u/zero_and_dug Aug 18 '26

She’s like a cross between the Long Island medium and Kate Goslin

5

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '26

[deleted]

7

u/Usual_Maintenance Aug 18 '26

100% The mom is so 90s
Courteney is like a mole person. She has no current references, no friends, no sense of self.

7

u/AppropriateTop9406 Aug 18 '26

Courtney needs to work on herself. She has so much emotional baggage from her past relationship that I do not think she is over her ex. Nick too but I believed that he wanted to move on. Courtney belittle Nick so many times that her “ick” for Nick could not be said straight out.

8

u/Couch_Potato_798 Aug 18 '26

I'm not even sure it's just past relationships. This woman seems to have parental issues too. Seems like she has been dying for her parents approval for years/her life. Striving for it, trying to replicate them in an effort to do so. Grown adults shouldn't be trying to make their parents proud and that be their driving motivator. She gives me Marissa from 90 day fiance vibes. (Yes, clearly I have no life since I watch both of these shows simultaneously and use a VPN here in Europe to ensure I get the most up to date episodes 😅)

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

she actually didn’t have serious relationships . she had situations and side chic it seems. i also despise people who live for their parents . grow up.

10

u/blankstare0 Aug 17 '26

Courtney says she wanted a fairy tale ending.
No she didn’t. She wanted misery. I saw NO effort on her part. No grace for Nick.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

would be a nightmare

17

u/No_Dependent_1846 Aug 17 '26

She is a terrible human being. I feel bad for nick and I am proud of him for walking away. he was being emotionally abused by that vile woman. she should watch this and feel ashamed of herself.

15

u/FluxitUnfiltered Aug 17 '26

There are so many comments about her language. That doesn’t bother me in the slightest. I love a good f bomb. However, she couples that with VERY aggressive and insensitive behavior and consistently looks like a fool.

3

u/AppropriateTop9406 Aug 18 '26

Ooh boy, I agree with that!!!

8

u/SnooGoats3109 Aug 18 '26

Exactly. I have a sailor mouth but she is so aggressive and angry when she’s swearing that it almost sounds more like a threat. I wouldn’t doubt it that if they stayed together it would eventually turn physical on her end. Something just isn’t right up there, hope she gets help after watching herself on tv.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

and aggressive for no reason. the guy was so chill

15

u/cynicalusername Aug 17 '26

I just googled “Am I the only one who doesn’t like Courtney” and here I am. Unrelated I think Courtney is in love with Adam and she is always comparing Nick to Adam.

6

u/ProfessionalMoose589 Aug 18 '26

She lusts after him, which is terrible because Nick is actually a very good looking guy.

3

u/cynicalusername Aug 20 '26

I really hope we don’t come to find out that Adam didn’t want to commit to marriage with someone with extreme fitness qualities and then Courtney steps in to fill the role. I hate to look to deeply into things but quite often these shows don’t include those small details without it being the contexts for later events. That would be the absolute worst ending to this season if Courtney and Adam end up together.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

he wouldn’t put up with a woman like that and neither would his family

1

u/ScoreNumerous Aug 27 '26

I think they both have similar annoying characteristics and would deserve each other. If Marissa dumps him.

4

u/ProfessionalMoose589 Aug 20 '26

I can see it lol 😂

6

u/DueString2621 Aug 17 '26

I just started this season and I immediately when to the internet when she said she was conservative and MAGA in the interview. And then she didn’t know what a drag queen is?! I thought there’s absolutely no way this woman is from Seattle. I guess she’s actually in Texas?

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

she is a drag queen. and definitely hangs at bars . imagine her being conservative behaving this way and saying she would be a maid for a man and allowed him to cheat. i bet she has had abortions. so she definitely is on the wrong side. or at least that’s what i think they believe

3

u/mummytodogs Aug 18 '26

Texas doesn’t want her. Send her back!

13

u/FederalControl1986 Aug 17 '26

it was so hard listening to her belittle & treat someone like that. i honestly think she wished she would have gotten paired with adam. the way she spoke to nick was disrespectful & invalidating to his experience. & the things she had to say about him at their final group therapy was definitely self projection.

1

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

make me sad for him

10

u/Dolphin_Deer_1222 Aug 17 '26

She’s sooooo masculine and defensive. Terrible combination. Her awkwardness is so off-putting too.

6

u/dedenara Aug 16 '26

She’s awful. A lot of work needs to be done

9

u/OkQuote5818 Aug 16 '26

She’s an insecure, rude, dismissive, narcissist. Good luck lady!

10

u/Hefty-Focus1340 Aug 16 '26

She kept demanding nick to feel safe with her to be his “true self”. There’s no way anyone would be self with her.

13

u/Pipa_Toes Aug 16 '26

She has no accountability—or maybe no self awareness that she’s mean and miserable. Nothing will make her happy. She’s not interested in meeting anyone half way or taking in constructive talk.

8

u/Queen_Me_ Aug 16 '26

She’s like an angry narcissist little man, with long hair

5

u/Main-Improvement4800 Aug 20 '26

She admitted that she has very long extensions. So “angry narcissist little man, with short hair” is a good description of her

10

u/Scared_Ad2835 Aug 16 '26

She’s harsh and condescending without realizing she’s being so .. maybe when she watches it back she will understand?

11

u/Fancy-Respect-807 Aug 16 '26

She doesn't have male or masculine energy. She is a bad woman. They exist more than most people are willing to admit and her terrible behavior doesn't have to be linked to men. It's hers all her own.

6

u/PiquantPanda777 Aug 16 '26

She absolutely 100000000% has masculine energy, but is also neurotic AF. Honestly one of the weirdest combos I’ve ever seen.

And for what it’s worth, I usually love having female friends with masculine energy, so I don’t view it as a bad thing, but it’s pretty obvious when it shows up in a relationship.

There is no way she wants to be married. Just a mean spirited person! She is definitely the problem! Insufferable is an understatement. Wow!

15

u/Reasonable_Policy928 Aug 16 '26

I can’t believe the experts didn’t call her out on her saying “f you” to him at the last group meeting. She was so condescending and disrespectful and wanted him to worship her. It was all about her and he could do nothing right. She has lots of work to do before she will ever be happy.

u/NoOutlandishness808 26d ago

that bothers me

3

u/josian002 Aug 18 '26

If nick was behaving the way she did the whole process, I’m sure everyone in the room would have called this out, experts and the cast, the double standard is crazy.

4

u/Scared_Ad2835 Aug 16 '26

Amen!!! Wild!!!

11

u/TillerGoblin45 Aug 16 '26

She’s what we call a BITCH. The poor bastard she gets to marry her will be miserable

3

u/FluxitUnfiltered Aug 17 '26

Maybe if she finds a a 60+ year old gym rat that has lost his hearing.. she will be ok.

5

u/GratefulAir88 Aug 16 '26

She has some serious issues. Annoyed me from the jump.

11

u/Otherwise_Demand8795 Aug 16 '26

I felt like she was more into Adam than Nick. She was horrible to Nick.

10

u/Exact-Recording870 Aug 16 '26

I came here thinking the exact same and wondering what others thought- women can gaslight to!

9

u/Abject-Possibility91 Aug 15 '26

They should have paired this beyotch with Felipe.

7

u/Blackphotogenicus Aug 15 '26

And had the nerve to say she wants someone who likes that she is independent. Yeah! They probably want her to be more independent so they can spend as little time with her as possible

12

u/Abject-Possibility91 Aug 15 '26

Courtney has such negative male energy and a filthy mouth. How could the experts pair her with a nice guy like Nick? She's clearly not happy and probably in the closet.

12

u/feelthePLUR Aug 15 '26

I really truly think she’s gay and doesn’t know it or is hiding it because she/her family are MAGA

17

u/Tenorek Aug 15 '26

I love the part where she told Nick that he never listens, when every time she's on screen you can't get that girl to shut up. Nick spent almost every moment on screen having to listen to her, much of the time belittling him.

4

u/Abject-Possibility91 Aug 15 '26

Gay yes, but MAGA has nothing to do with it.

7

u/heffalumpwalrus Aug 15 '26

Every week I have a new person I dislike the most and this week it's a tie between Courtney and Adam, but Courtney squeaks into top place. She is super insecure, and so she tries to project strength and control the situation by spouting a firehose of words, the subtext being if he would only do what she says, she could turn him into a deserving partner. She sould turn the mirror on herself and ask what on earth about her is attractive to Nick?

5

u/Abject-Possibility91 Aug 15 '26

Nothing at all attractive about Courtney, inside or outside.

3

u/Main-Improvement4800 Aug 20 '26

Thank you! You’re absolutely right! She’s barely attractive, and her personality makes her downright ugly

8

u/daisy3220 Aug 15 '26

She's got a lot of self work to do and hopefully she sees it now that it's airing. She's just so mean and doesn't know how to speak to Nick with respect.

3

u/catdawgshrimp Aug 16 '26

she is consistently doubling down on her IG. i thought maaaybe she would too after it aired, but nope

23

u/Chaliwil Aug 15 '26

Just the fact she was literally begging her family to dislike Nick and give her a reason to drop him, I just feel like she never liked him and never gave it a chance. She wishes she had Adam but Adam probably wouldn't have even been attracted to her. She made quite a bit of positive compliments towards Adam and his "intense" ways, let alone said he was the most attractive one there... to Nick mind you. I wish the experts dug into her more, she needed to be humbled a few times.

6

u/piney Aug 16 '26

Yeah, telling Nick that it’s mandatory to raise any children in Oregon near her parents, for the first time, in the car, on the way to meet her parents, is pure relationship sabotage. And then begging her family to not like him! She is not serious about a relationship at all.

2

u/OhBoy_89 Aug 15 '26

Nick seemed like such a drip

21

u/Trikitty777 Aug 15 '26

Courtney is a narcissist, and only ever talked AT Nick, never had a conversation with him. He dodged a fatal bullet with that break up. Run Nick, run.

7

u/piney Aug 16 '26

Yeah she’s like ‘I don’t know anything about you’ but like have you ever asked him a question?

13

u/b_moz Aug 15 '26

She didn’t know what RuPaul’s Drag Race was, and that was all I needed to know. She had a few other similar pop culture or history things she didn’t know which was like 😬😬.

8

u/Blackhat336 Aug 15 '26

I thought she was making a joke when she said her dad loved cars and it made me think she was super clever and witty… only to realize 5 seconds later she (and ALL her friends too?) was completely serious and had no idea

11

u/Purple_Entrance7598 Aug 15 '26

Like not knowing who Keanu Reeves is!!!!

3

u/Main-Improvement4800 Aug 20 '26

That actually shocked me. She never heard of Keanu and had no idea what The Matrix is. The movie has many meanings, one of which is that the main character overcomes his own fears and reaches his true potential as a great person/hero. As a mean, gaslighting, narcissistic bully, Courteney could never  understand the movie’s or anyone else’s point of view. Nick dodged a bullet

10

u/piney Aug 16 '26

Or being a proud conservative but not knowing about January 6th at all!

0

u/laughoutcarolinablue Aug 15 '26

An alpha male who has no issue belittling a woman.

1

u/Character_Essay_1234 Aug 15 '26

First time l've seen Nick called an alpha.

5

u/laughoutcarolinablue Aug 15 '26

I didn’t say Nick???

21

u/eltrayne Aug 15 '26

I typically dont go so far to get on a reddit thread to spread some negativity but wow she made me angry. Shes clearly on uppers or steroids and is just a really mean person.

7

u/catdawgshrimp Aug 16 '26

yes! her eyes always looked so bugged out, pupils like saucers

13

u/Clean_Relationship87 Aug 14 '26

She was waayyy over the top. Dropped far too many F Bombs and has a failure to communicate on an adult intellectual level. I only wish Nick had the balls to call it off before she did. Who the heck would 'open up' and be themselves with someone who communicates with F bombs. I agree she alpeared hopped up on something

5

u/Abject-Possibility91 Aug 15 '26

The experts should have called her out. I couldn't stand listening to her.

4

u/catdawgshrimp Aug 16 '26

that fact that they didn't when she threw a "F YOU" in nick's face was appalling.

11

u/Used-Arrival-4176 Aug 14 '26

It's very fair to be a little suspicious about him being too polished given the reality start thing, but I just don't understand her having a whole conversation about how she needs to shut him down less and then, when he opens him up, she immediately shuts him down. There's no room for a relationship to grow with that level of defensiveness activated. Whether or not Nick was right about her not complimenting him is immaterial. That was a chance to LISTEN and not shut him down so that he can be more real.

12

u/Ok-Connection-5947 Aug 14 '26

She seems manic like she's on adderal

1

u/SouthernGal1010 Aug 19 '26

Hey now I'm on Adderall and in no way do I act this way lol

2

u/Main-Improvement4800 Aug 20 '26

She could be abusing Adderall. Abusing it can make you aggressive, inappropriate, loud, and even violent

4

u/Speakinmymind96 Aug 16 '26

I thought the same thing. I wonder if they edited her to come off unlikable….she would just launch an aggressive word salad any time she got the chance to talk

3

u/catdawgshrimp Aug 16 '26

oh please. editing had nothing to do with how awful of a person she clearly is. she did that ALL on her own.

2

u/Speakinmymind96 Aug 16 '26

Oh I agree that she is awful, I just thought it strange that every time she spoke it was verbal diarrhea from the start…like we were seeing her mid conversation.

2

u/Main-Improvement4800 Aug 20 '26

Her verbal diarrhea had no beginning, middle, or end. She never makes a point. Just rambles until you just tune her out

-1

u/watmore1 Aug 14 '26

She could tell Nick had zero interest and was acting for camera. It pissed her off.

7

u/squish388 Aug 14 '26

I feel like she’s really blunt though, if she felt that way she would’ve 100% said it word for word lol

1

u/catdawgshrimp Aug 16 '26

🎯🎯🎯

3

u/Used-Arrival-4176 Aug 14 '26

And at this point its just kind a given that most people on these shows have some interest in generating a social media/influencer type profile. I think it's very possible that he could have two goals at once: find love and do another show.

15

u/Necessary-Shock1028 Aug 14 '26

The way she talk to Nick...she's so rude and demeaning! How can she say he's not being himself when he's telling her he is! Nick definitely deserves better and Courtney needs therapy.

6

u/Character_Essay_1234 Aug 15 '26

Or a nice, life-saving rabies shot

11

u/LissiPupi Aug 14 '26

And she uses the 'f' word waaaay too much. It's off-putting

1

u/themisslia Aug 14 '26

What’s an SA survivor?

1

u/LissiPupi Aug 14 '26

Sexual assault
