Season 20 - Seattle REJECTED!!!
She said that Adam was the hottest out of the group, and on national TV he rejected her saying he’d leave her within the week… most would, She should’ve been nicer..
6
u/Cowpocolypse Sep 10 '26
I don’t know why anyone cared that she cried. She wants to dish it but she can’t take it. Woman needs to mature.
10
u/PLTL23 Sep 03 '26
100% clueless. Didn't know what Jan 6th was, didn't know who Keanu Reeves was? Silly I know, but seriously?? She was overall pretty annoying.
2
u/OneSeaworthiness7768 Sep 14 '26 edited Sep 14 '26
Didn’t know Drag Race either. “My family are big car people though” lmao.
I also kinda find it hard to believe that Nick is actually conservative, or at least to the extent she was. He couldn’t name a position he leaned conservative on, has gay friends, talked about Ru Paul’s drag race, etc. I wonder if that’s just the narrative they wanted for the show in order to match them.
2
u/ExcitingTea4284 Sep 03 '26
I think she was being rhetorical in her Jan 6 question. Right?
1
2
u/PLTL23 Sep 04 '26
She was asked that during her first interview with one of the coaches. I can't find a video but here's a snippit on it: https://www.facebook.com/heartcatalog/posts/shockingly-this-womans-marriage-didnt-last-on-season-20-of-married-at-first-sigh/1486340610195116/

u/Banananxiety Sep 03 '26
During the honeymoon she put finger guns up to her head and said she wanted to "blow her brains out" multiple times in response to being with him. That's insanely rude and disrespectful, and she didn't think about him inevitably watching that on the show in the near future?
3
u/Banananxiety Sep 03 '26
Also at the reunion, they asked Adam if a match would work between him and Courtney everyone kept telling him to stop talking and going in on him telling him his response was too aggressive like he was the worst person in the entire world to say what he said. Yet Courtney multiple times throughout the show aggressively said f*** you to Nick and it was for really ridiculous reasons he literally did nothing wrong yet no one corrected her or held her accountable for her wild aggression. Her main issue with Nick was that he didn't open up and be vulnerable in the exact amount and timeline that she expected. That's a crazy thing to be so upset about. And it was NOT okay for just about everyone to make fun of Adam's house, clothing, and the way he speaks.

u/MonforReal Sep 02 '26
I hated that all the women pretended her behavior was ok. She was mean and rude and clearly couldn’t take anyone treating her the same way. I think it’s important to support women, but not holding each other accountable is the exact same behavior we call out as a problem in men.
17
u/Majestic-Yoghurt-364 Sep 01 '26
The response Adam received to calling her out the way he did was bull. If a woman had responded that way to a man saying something like that she would have been applauded and called a girls girl.

34
u/hollowhighway Aug 31 '26 edited Aug 31 '26
also who else found it so funny she’s allowed to be mean to others but when adam was mean to her she immediately victimized herself and started crying
20
u/Doriginal01 Aug 31 '26
Right! As the male therapist said ” could dish it but not take it” I couldn’t understand why people were feeling bad for her.

Courtney spent the whole season saying she’s “goofy” but not once did we see anything but anger and aggression. Maybe lighten up on the steroids that are known to cause both anger and aggressiveness.

u/Vegetable_Sun_1261 Sep 02 '26
This! Steroids would definitely explain the manicky aggression and deer in headlights look.

I, for one, was glad to see someone get noticabley aggravated with her. She was awful, and rude. If one of the guys had treated one of the women like she treated him everyone would have been all over him. It was good to see someone passionate about how terribly she treated him.
I don't really like Adam, but I was glad to see some righteous indignation from someone.
The fact that she cried was because she got told the truth. She even has the audacity to complain that Adam was "mean" about it. B*tch, you were constantly mean. Learn to take it off you're going to dish it out.
32
u/Smooth-Mistake9898 Aug 30 '26
It blows my mind that she wasn't able to learn anything about herself after watching the show on tv. If that didn't slack some sense into her, nothing will!
9
u/Grouchy_Evidence2558 Aug 30 '26
none of the other women seemed to hold her accountable for any of it, the experts were way too lenient on her. And Adam went over the top mean so she'll just write his stuff off. She'll never learn.
4
u/InsideCommercial458 Aug 30 '26
Well usually women don’t hold each other accountable and that’s what we watched on the couch.. the fact not one woman corroborated any of the men was insane to me! And then for her to really be offended by Adam saying she would’ve left her.. like he ain’t your husband.. I wish the Adam that showed up at the reunion was the one we could’ve met on the show.. bro was going hard.. She’s trash at pickleball😩😩🤣🤣

I loved Devin! He's a catch - she had so much baggage.

It almost seems like they are casting people as like a joke or something. Like who can we find that has the most deep seeded issues or most personality disorders.
6
u/lynn_chippy Aug 30 '26
I wonder if that’s why they have new “experts “ I could see the originals not wanting to be part of this.
1
u/InsideCommercial458 Aug 30 '26
See I thought they were replaced because of last season I don’t remember their names but when the light skin guy and the gym girl were working out together and hanging out and texting.. talking about “I’m going to eat you up”, it was my cousins platter of food, like yeah okay buddy
1
u/lynn_chippy Aug 31 '26

They gave her and Caitlin TOO MUCH GRACE! just how they went on the men they should did the same thing to the girls.
13
u/WishboneStrong2979 Aug 30 '26
This bothered me so much! I’m a woman but I could recognize the double standard. They interrogated Mecca and Felipe, but for Caitlin and Courtney, it was only, “Well, do you learn anything about yourself from this?” 🙄😊

u/Fit-Anything-210 Aug 29 '26
They made Adam apologize for saying would have broken up with her in a week and that he would beat her at pickle ball.
Meanwhile she took no accountability and apologized for nothing.
The “experts” are terrible.
8
u/SchoolOfLife502 Aug 30 '26
These experts are so bad, I can’t even believe that they’re let to run the show
5
u/SarasotaWendy Aug 30 '26
I agree! These so called "experts" basically created all that drama at the retreat to stir the pot ! They could have had thought provoking questions and light hearted topics to bring them together - Instead they created the chaos for the cameras. I don't care for either one of them! But the so called female doctor was the worst.
13
u/Queasy-Gold-5023 Aug 29 '26
This entire scene made me like Adam More. I didn’t find him overly aggressive. I found him factual.
12
u/manero0614 Aug 29 '26
Yes. They did a really bad job. No one was holding her accountable- then she goes and cries. Shes horrible
2
u/tonightbeyoncerides Aug 29 '26
To be fair, he got a little aggressive about the score in their game and how she'd been playing for six years and he'd been playing for four months. To me it did not come off as banter, it came off as him trying to put her in her place.
Like yeah, he was justified in saying what he said, but the way he said it was a too intense in general and wayyyy too aggressive for such a public forum.

Yeah but his anger was at Marisa for how their conversation went. He took it out on the most convenient woman nearest to him. She’s a bitch truly but at least it’s up front, these men were scary fucking weirdos. Not just Adam. Weirdly the two worst girls had the most respectful dudes though & that seems like an expert failure.
10
u/Chance_Vegetable_780 Aug 29 '26
Which is all part of why they made him apologize. But the point is she was aggressive, intense, nasty and hurtful af to Nick repeatedly and they didn't make her apologize. She was way too aggressive and intense for a public (or private) forum - consistently. Because she's female people aren't frightened of her, like they would be of Adam- but that doesn't dismiss her aggression. If Courtney had been a male she would have been kicked off the show 100 percent - the bias needs to end. The "experts" and producers failed miserably
9
u/WishboneStrong2979 Aug 30 '26
YES, completely agree, such a double standard. I felt so bad for Nick. I mean, he admitted that he had to go into therapy after the way she treated him during the show, and how she made him doubt every little thing about himself, and the experts brushed over that and were like “good for you for being in therapy,” then moved on to another topic
Where’s the accountability for Courtney???3
u/Chance_Vegetable_780 Aug 30 '26
- And it sure doesn't help her evolve as they aren't straight forward with her. Very Weird.
31
u/Remote-Poem96 Aug 29 '26
None of the women being honest with Courtney was absolute bullshit. You cannot sit there and watch the season and say she was a nice person. I don’t think any of the men would’ve tolerated that shit. If she’s that masculine her boyfriend is probably feminine.
6
u/Queasy-Gold-5023 Aug 29 '26
I agree. It made me lose all respect for any of these women. It was absolutely disgusting that they sat there and allowed this. Can you imagine if this roles had been reversed it’s appalling they should be embarrassed.
3
u/Hepadna Aug 30 '26
Yeah I was disappointed but not shocked. Caitlin is her bestie and Marissa just goes along with everything. Michelle likely doesn’t hang out with them and neither does Nikki who’s much older. Belle, no excuse, just afraid to shake the boat I guess.

This was hilarious. She is so ugly . Not because of her looks . But everything else . She needs help !
25
u/Golden_1992 Aug 29 '26
She actually sucks so bad and I’m a bit annoyed the girls didn’t raise their hands like the guys did. Even on her own socials I️ cannot find many redeeming qualities. She needs therapy something awful.

u/thando24 Aug 29 '26

This season had the worst match ups.
14
u/realitytvobsessed15 Aug 28 '26
Nope it was Denver
1
u/lynn_chippy Aug 30 '26
Denver was the season all about “ the optics” right? They tried to control the narrative themselves by only showing certain behaviors on camera. Yeah non of those couples worked but still feel the experts actually tried in the earlier seasons. This season I don’t believe any of the couples were paired sincerely..
1
u/realitytvobsessed15 Aug 30 '26
Yes, it was the season in which the guy got stood up at the altar. The couple with the Australian guy agree to stay together to keep getting the paycheck. They match a Christian girl with an atheist. Literally chaotic. I feel earlier seasons when it was 3-4 couples it was more genuine and less production playing with people’s lives

u/Joanieg909 Aug 28 '26
I hate it that Dr Lisa covers for her. Courteney is a rude asshole and loves being that way. 🚩🚩

Dr Lisa covered for 2 people in particular that share very common traits with her.

Adam saying he would never date her was not the worse thing he said or did. That PNW overreaction to emotion was strong. Of course he was disgusted and upset. He isn’t meat.
7
u/ok_thinkingasthmatic Aug 29 '26
No— he wasn’t that bothered about her comment. That was leftover anger from how Marissa aired him out literally in the segment before that. That’s why everyone was like “why are you so angry, why are you being so aggressive?” So Courtney said he was the hottest a year ago when they filmed, who still cares? He’s not good at handling himself when he feels attacked, so he went off on Courtney about pickleball for no reason, it was weird
6
u/r_sparrow09 Aug 28 '26
fr, especially because she even tried to shoot her shot with him before they left... while he was still with Marissa! Its embarrassing.
46
u/aurorabb Aug 28 '26
Noone calling her vapid bullshit out was so upsetting. They tried to spin it into a gender thing when she is an absolute POS
9
39
u/Swimms4lyfe Aug 28 '26
THANK YOU.
When they asked to raise their hands and not a single girl raised their hand ….
I’m all for girls supporting girls. No problem, but real support is telling your friends when they are also in the wrong.
1
u/Steel_Magnolia4844 Aug 29 '26
It kind of made me wonder though if they saw something disingenuous about Nick. That is the only reason I could see them having her back or the girls had a blanket agreement to back each other .
16
u/Aquariusmoon69 Aug 28 '26
Yes! When she said it was just the guys..ummm, and all of us in the real world! I raised my hand
12

this. it made me view all the girls differently. courtney's behavior on the sho was unequivocally despicable.

Adam was out floor blood seemingly out of nowhere. I think he was reacting to being torn down by nearly everyone there.

Then I hope you’re mad at Devin for his pleading the 5th on Adam. I didn’t blame the women for not tearing down Courtney when the men didn’t want to speak the truth about Adam either
2
u/Hairy_Channel1105 Aug 30 '26 edited Aug 30 '26
The men got tore down, way more than the women did, like come on,it ain’t a titty weighing contest. Regardless of their patriotism to one another, the men called each other out way more than the women did. The women were chiming in when it came to Mecca for making disparaging comments to belle. Courtney not only blamed Nick for the entire breakdown of the marriage, but publicly made disparaging comments about him, cussed at him. Yeah let that be a man😒, somebody finna say something.
3
31
u/CM557742 Aug 28 '26
I agree. If one of the men had said, “Marissa is the best looking woman here,” in front of their partner, they would have been so angry. I was disappointed that they closed ranks around her rather than being honest. She was very hurtful to Nick.

I didn’t feel sorry for her, I think it was her plan all along to shed some tears so people feel bad for her and lay off of her. She deserved to be called out for her crappy behavior. I thought it was weird Adam went after her so hard, when she didn’t really do anything to him. He was super aggressive that night, that’s for sure!
27
u/No-Author9144 Aug 28 '26
He was giving her a taste of her own medicine
7
u/AccomplishedChef7885 Aug 28 '26
I guess, but coming from him it was really random. He was angry and on edge all night. I don’t feel bad for her, I’m sure she was being dramatic so they would take it easy on her.
5
3
u/No-Author9144 Aug 28 '26
He definitely didn’t need to go that hard. He also got really mad at Shawn. I think he might have anger issues.
18
u/AllAboutRomy Aug 28 '26
I don't agree with how Adam treated Courtney, but i can't say I feel sorry for her either. Both of their behaviors are disgusting and childish. Adam lashes out whenever challenged and becomes an absolute douche, and Courtney is rude, condescending, and disrespectful to Nick bc she wasn't attracted to him.
I think they were actually a perfect match bc Courtney wouldn't have been such an ass to Adam bc she was actually attracted to him. We probably wouldn't have seen that nasty side come out as much.
35
28
u/Lower_Ad844 Aug 28 '26
I guess it’s an unpopular opinion but the way Adam spoke about her was disgusting. He’s an awful person, an absolute douchebag. He could have just said “absolutely not” and left it at that. Courtney was not nice to Nick but I don’t fuck with Adam in the slightest for doing that. And his obsession with pickleball is weird as fuck.
3
u/No-Video1684 Aug 28 '26
Agreed.. Adam seemed to take rejecting her attraction to him to an unnecessary level. He was cruel and clearly angry. The same way he talked about Shawn when Shawn told him he had low emotional intelligence. He has angry vibes
20
u/anon_ahh Aug 28 '26
Adam came across sooo aggressive towards the later half of the reunion, my husband even said how weird and unstable he seemed. Honestly, the pickleball thing is actually freaking me out because I thought it was more joke-y the whole time, but he is seriously an addict to sports.

Yup. I am a woman and support women when they are wronged, but I noticed the guys called each other out for their bad behavior SO much more than the women called each other out for theirs. Theyre all too polished for tv. Someone needs to say things when they happen. You can be respectful and still call out crazy behavior
4
u/marsharlot Aug 28 '26
My assumption for that is because they also probably gotta worry about their day job. In a way it’s better to be careful what to say an all that’s just IMHO
4
u/IKeepGettingBanned85 Aug 28 '26
Pretty much. I would be thinking real hard about what i said too. You also wouldnt want to come off mean, at all or people just go off. I know i coudlnt/wouldnt be on a show like this because my job would can my ass.

She was so bad Nick needed therapy after. She is so neurotic, that will wear you down fast.
14
u/RadicallyAudacious Aug 28 '26
Tbh, I think everyone should get therapy after being on reality tv. The whole world judges you. Brutal.
3
6
u/NOLA_Unicorn Aug 28 '26
but nick is a professional at reality tv and what comes after and she broke him.
3
u/aurorabb Aug 28 '26
Him being in a few reality shows does not make him a professional. These shows do not give people resources like that. And the guy is not Ray Jay
4
u/RadicallyAudacious Aug 28 '26
Every reality show is different and this is 100x more of a mainstream, worldwide show. The judgements, hate, and nitpicking about every word, every body part, and every action is on a level that he has never experienced. That being said, I think everyone should get therapy after every reality show they do.
12
u/Lazy-Party3469 Aug 28 '26
Very strange group of unsure desperados this season. Felipe gives me the creeps, and adam and his new gf look like they smoke pot all day in his hut. Do they vet these people? Or is it like 90 day fiance where even people in and out of prison get on the show.

She was overly reactive about Nick being on reality tv but what were her reasons for being on tv? She was so unaware of herself and her behavior in front of cameras. Even her family liked Nick and couldn’t find fault. She blew it. The cameras showed her own cruel behavior towards men. Looks like she just wanted to be on tv.
