Film + TV [Film/TV] Can we all agree this is one of the greatest sequences in a DC film?
Honestly gives me chills every time I see it. It’s a shame we haven’t seen much like this since. This cgi was very impressive for 2006.

Comics [Discussion] Underrated and forgotten visual detail of Raven
This is a physical distinction that I’m sad has gone away with time but a big defining aspect of NTT Raven’s look was her hair. If you notice, it has no sort of light within it, this is more obvious when shes next to Dick or Donna Troy who have black hair but there’s have shine and highlights to it.
I think it’s a good simple visual indicator to her affiliation with Darkness and provides a good contrast to her causal clothes which are a lot of pastel and pink outfits(mainly dresses). I think after she became White Raven, her hair started to gain more of that blue shading to it but still not as bright as others.

Discussion Who is the second biggest hater in DC Comics?
I think we can all agree that Eobard Thawne, the first Reverse-Flash, is the biggest, most petty and pathetic hater in the DC Universe. That crown and throne are pretty much glued to his head and butt.
I'm wondering who you people think is the runner-up? The vice-president of hating, so to speak.
I have a nominee, of course. Hank Henshaw, the Cyborg Superman. No matter if it's the "Reign of the Supermen" Comic, the movie, My Adventures With Superman Season 03, the Sinestro Corps Storyline, even the CW Supergirl... He always seems to be so full of hatred towards Superman that he's on the verge of tears (or oil-leakage) 99% of the time.
EDIT FOR RESULTS: It seems the community sees Black Manta as the ultimate hater, some say even higher than Thawne, with Lex on his heels. I did not know about Black Manta being this petty and savage. It made me realize, that i don't hate to my fullest potential in life. Thank you all!

Artwork [Artwork] Long Halloween Illustrations
I don’t know if this is a hot take but I know Tim Sale’s artwork in The Long Halloween gets a lot of hate but I really love it I mean it’s outrageous but I don’t think the story would benefit from an overly tame style.

Discussion First time reading superman:Birthright [Comic Excerpt]
I’ve been a fan of like easy stuff for a while, but I’ve mainly read flash and stuff most of my life. I have always been a Superman thing, but this is my first time really getting into him I love this story so much and I can see why so many people viewed as their definitive Superman interpretation I literally just finished at five minutes ago. I just felt like I had to say something. If you haven’t read it please do. It’s genuinely such a great Read and I would love to take more Superman recommendations if anybody has them!

Discussion [Discussion] What's a silly character from the DC Universe that means a lot for you?
To me, it's condiment king, and I'm not joking.
I was around 6 when the Lego Batman movie came out, and I have loved the batman character since I was born (the first batman day took place on my 3rd birthday, and my first comic was Knightfall). My mom was really big into the comic nerd-dom, but not so much my dad. The most he had delved into it was the walking dead series. Anyways, since he knew batman meant a lot to me, he knew he wanted to do something for me related to it. So we went to see Lego Batman in theatres, loved it, and a little after, I had a birthday party themed about it, and he surprised me by dressing up as Condiment King. That was the first time my dad and I really connected over my love for comic books, and it was something as simple as that which made me feel appreciated.
To me, that's why I love media. You could have a gag character and at least one person is gonna connect to it in the same way someone could connect with an icon like Superman. And although James Gunn has said no when it comes to adapting him, I would love to see this goofball on a big screen in some way.
So for you guys, who is the silly character who you connect with most?

Comics [Discussion] First time actually reading a comic and DCeased was amazing 😭 Spoiler
I genuinely cannot express the binge I just went through. I don't understand how you guys don't talk about it constantly.
I loved the beginning of the story so much everything was just so dark and sad, I mean you had superman facing his 'dead' father then Alfred killing his sons ( Don't get me started on Alfred ) I never thought I could like Deathstroke but here we are somehow I felt something at his death, never considered myself an edgelord but please if it means I get more content like this.
Close to the ending for me was just pure fucking hype and aura moments and I was eating it all up. Yellow Lantern Darkseid, Zombie Mxylptlyk, Alfred 'Spectre' Pennyworth and Ghost Trigon Constatine?? They even brought Ace and Krypto
I regret watching only the CW shows and animated movies.

Discussion Krypto the Earth Dog
Am I the only one who remembers when Kon-El (Conner Kent) was our Superboy, and Krypto was right there by his side?
While most people recognize Krypto as Superman’s super-powered dog from Krypton, I’m referring to the version of Krypto from the ‘90s Superman and Superboy comics. This was the regular white Earth dog associated with Kon-El and Bibbo (I miss this guy too!).
For those of us who grew up with that era of DC Comics, Kon-El was THE Superboy, and that version of Krypto was an integral part of his world. It’s a shame that these comic ideas, such as Supergirl, Lex Luther II, and Superman being the only pure Kryptonian, were overshadowed by their higher sales figures.
