Discussion So, [[Spoiler Warning]] In the 2003 Cartoon, What was in Robin’s Briefcase? Spoiler
In the fifth season episode with the race, I get the feeling (since the beginning) that whatever was in the briefcase Ding Dong Daddy stole was important because of a personal connection to Robin. Him later revealing to Red X that it’s not something in which anyone who isn’t Robin would be interested strengthened my suspicion that it would be something whose value was ultimately sentimental. While my original thought was that maybe it was pictures of him with his late parents from the Haly’s Circus Days (in the show, at least, Robin would keep that under lock and key) it also occurred to me that something that would lead to his secret identity would be a genuinely dangerous thing for an enemy to get. (Robin said, in the episode with the True Master, “the mask stays on” and he’s implied to have the backstory with Batman in other episodes.) While I get why they didn’t show us what it was (if it were a sled labeled rosebud, I’d have been disappointed), I still wonder what it was. What do you all think it was?

Discussion After 9 years away, rewatching Teen Titans made me realize how deeply Raven’s story mirrored my own grief and isolation.
Hey everyone,
I recently decided to rewatch Teen Titans for the first time in over nine years. Coming back to it as an adult, I expected a hit of nostalgia, but I wasn’t prepared for how profoundly one character would hit me: Raven.
To explain why her arc resonated with me so deeply, I have to share a bit of where I was coming from. A while back, my world completely collapsed. I had to relocate from South Africa to the UK, leaving behind everything I had ever known. Around that same time, I lost both of my older relatives—the very anchors of my life. I found myself in a new country, starting entirely from scratch with nothing to my name, carrying a weight of grief and dislocation that felt impossible to put into words.
When you lose your foundation and have to rebuild life from zero, you learn to keep your emotions under tight lock and key just to survive the day. You put up walls so high that people mistake your self-preservation for detachment or coldness.
Rewatching Raven's story through that lens changed everything for me.
Behind her gothic exterior, dark aesthetic, and sharp sarcasm isn't just a cool trope—it’s a survivor. Raven carries an unimaginable internal burden, born into a tragic legacy she didn't choose, constantly keeping her heavy emotions in check because letting them out feels like it could destroy her world.
Seeing her arc again made me truly fall in love with her character, not just as a great hero, but as a mirror to my own soul. I saw my own quiet struggle reflected in her daily battle to stay grounded while carrying immense loss and dark circumstances.
Of course, our stories aren't identical. She is fighting cosmic, demonic forces, while I’m navigating the grounded reality of starting over in a new country after personal heartbreak. But emotionally, the bridge between us is real. Understanding who she is beneath that guarded exterior made me realize why she was always my favorite—and why she means even more to me now.
I just wanted to make this post to express my gratitude for how well-written her character is. She showed me that carrying a dark past doesn't mean you can't be good, strong, and deserving of care and peace.
Thank you, Raven, for being the hero I needed to re-encounter at this point in my life.

Discussion Teen Titans '03 Bible Leaked
About a GB of Teen Titans related documents leaked on 4chan today, including vector art, style guides, and the show bible, circa '02. You can download the story bible below:
https://transfer.it/t/uWoAzfoRwZqL
Only thing want to say is that I find the way David Slack wrote about Raven and especially Starfire to be extremely creepy.
EDIT: People were asking for the rest of the TT stuff that leaked, so I uploaded it here: https://transfer.it/t/NA0nue5hiTyK
