Cyborg Superman (Hank Henshaw), by Dan Jurgens and Brett Breeding as a centerfold artwork for the "Reign of the Supermen" storyline. (1993)

For some reason Jimmy Olsen and Kara are often paired in movies and TV shows
But the relationship either goes nowhere or ends so quickly. It’s so annoying

A surprise cameo. Is Peter David kinda taking a dig at Superman with this? All in good fun.

I just edited my layout with wholesome Superman wallpapers. Share your guys Superman wallpapers or phone customizations.
I know this is not as perfect or stylish as other people's customization but I will try to make them look good later.

What are your thoughts on Marv Wolfman's Adventures of Superman run during the early Post-Crisis days?
I've been reading my way through the John Byrne hardcovers of Superman recently, and I can honestly say I've enjoyed Marv Wolfman's short little run probably a little more than Byrne's runs so far.
I just feel I really enjoy the more down-to-earth Golden Age style take on having Superman interacting with the people of Metropolis that Wolfman goes for compared to Byrne's more sci-fi based main title run and team-up based Action Comics run.
I have problems with it, of course. Most of them just lean back to the decisions Byrne made with his new take on the Man of Steel. But also, with how short Wolfman's time was here on this run considering some elements (mainly The Circle) really don't go anywhere after Wolfman's departure.
Following the rather anticlimactic final issue (we would NOT see The Circle again following issue #435) when Byrne took over Adventures, we'd get some tie-ins to the cash-grab Millennium event and the controversial introduction to Byrne's new take on Brainiac.
It's kind of a shame and honestly it makes me wish Wolfman was the one to handle the new Superman reboot instead of Byrne considering Marv's take is more in line with what I like about Superman. (I mean, he already had the idea for businessman Lex, whose undoubtedly been the most lasting aspect of Post-Crisis Superman. So personally, I think he could've gone all the way with it.)
But that's just me. What did you guys think of it?
[Issues pictured are a mix of my favorite issues from this run and favorite covers by the great Jerry Ordway. Whose art here is also worth celebrating considering he'd be a mainstay on these titles until his departure in 1993.]

It’s wild to think this is how the series ended. Kind of a down note.

I like Luthor's facial expressions in this scene, you can tell he is accepting that he won't win and that the raptors can't take Superman

You will believe a man can fly." Found this beautiful vintage piece of movie history at a local card show!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to share a slice of movie history I picked up at a card show last month. This is Card #40 ('The Man of Steel in Flight') from the original 1978 Topps movie set, and I was so happy to find a copy where the blue visual effects coloring hasn't faded over the last 45+ years. Growing up, Christopher Reeve was—and always will be—the definitive live-action Superman to me. There's just something incredibly magical about how Richard Donner shot these horizontal flying scenes before the era of CGI. They had to invent completely new front-projection systems just to get this image onto film panels! I paid $90 CAD for it and it is securely authenticated in the protective display case, and it's easily become the centerpiece of my shelf. Did anyone else collect these back when the film hit theaters, or own any other cool pieces of merchandise from the 1978 masterpiece? What do you think of it?
