iPhone Which Iphone to upgrade to?

• Upvotes

I’ve had an Iphone 11 for the longest time but now it needs an upgrade (very slow, shattered screen etc). I don’t have many requirements for a phone it just needs to do basic stuff and take nice photos maybe (not the sharp way in which all iPhones 13 and onwards have started talking). I’m thinking of a refurbished 15 or 16 as these are the only ones available in my country and I’m inclined towards 15 a lot because well it’s cheaper and I don’t want to spend more money than I need to but everyone tells me to get 16 for reasons I really don’t understand. Please help me out in this. Which phone to get and why.

Ps Ideally, I would love to get a non apple phone but I don’t know much about phones so if there are any suggestions I’d love to know.

iPhone I wanna upgrade my iPhone 8 Plus, but would the Duo still be worth it over a 15 pro max despite the $2k price tag?

My use case is binge watching social media on my phone, web scrolling, and want to be able to play games like Genshin Impact without any lag issues or extreme overheating while having decent battery life. The multi-tasking feature on the Duo could be useful and having pen support for making sketches.

iPhone What to get after iPhone 13 Mini

I love my mini. I have small hands and mainly use my phone for writing, socials, emails, Apple Music, newsletters etc.

I don’t take a ton of photos and I don’t play any games. I do multi task pretty hard but it’s all through social media mainly text based apps.

I love the Mini because I can one handed scroll and it’s light enough that it doesn’t cause pain (I’ve got problems with my wrists and fingers)

That said, it’s getting sluggish and it’s had a good life.

It doesn’t seem like Apple (or any Manufacturer) plans to make smaller phones.

What would you buy next? I’ve owned a 5s, a 7 and the 13 mini.

Mac MacBook Neo?

I have been trying to upgrade my entire Apple ecosystem recently. I had the AirPods 1 (2016) IPhone 13, and an IPad 9th generation for movies and occasionally YouTube. I traded in both the 13 and IPad 9 in favor of the AirPods Pro 3 and soon to come iPhone 18 Pro Max (typing this from a spare iPhone SE second generation). I did like having a secondary device though for YouTube, movies, and simple browsing but I don’t really want to buy an ipad. The MacBook Airs seem excessive for my needs since Im just using it as a secondary device and a glorified iPad.
Is the Neo worth it for this? A glorified iPad and a secondary/complementary device to the phone?

Question Apple Watch Upgrade

I'm in the market for a new Apple Watch.
The current one I have is Apple Watch SE 1st gen so it's pretty outdated (Can't update past watchOS 10) and it's battery health is 63%.
I use my Apple Watch on a daily basis and track my walks/bike rides.

I'm here wondering which is the best for me? I'm not using Apple Fitness+ or anything major, I just wear it a lot and track my steps, heart rate, and walks or bike rides as mentioned before.
I'm eyeing the SE 3rd gen since it's the cheapest option but would still like a step in the right direction on what to buy based off my needs.

Any help is appreciated!

iPhone Is it still worth getting a 17 pro or get the 18 pro ?

Found a place where I can get a new 17 pro but it’s still full price but considering the problems I hear with the 18 pro I’m either waiting it out a few weeks until they iron out the bugs or just getting a 17 pro now

iPhone Fix iPhone 13 or buy 17?

I’m a creature of habit and hate change. Currently debating fixing my iPhone 13 (charge port is giving me issues) or buying a 17 outright. I’m frugal and typically keep my phones for as long as possible and only when needed I take over my husband’s old phone and he gets a new one (his work buys it). His current phone is the 14 though so it’s time I get a better upgrade. I’m Canadian and we really don’t get plan deals or phone deals anymore so I buy them and have a low cost bring your own device plan ($40/month).

I do want a better camera. My other main use is socials, email and very basic stuff. I don’t love the size of the pro models but may be swayed if I really would benefit from that camera keeping in mind I’m a point and shoot user.

I’m a very basic user so my thought was get the 17 with the largest storage available as I find that helps longevity. I haven’t priced out fixing the 13 yet. Thoughts?

Apple TV New Apple TV or get the third gen?

So I have the A1269 model (A12) and it does micro stutter when opening apps and such and I’ve had it for a few years now. Should I just go straight for the the newest model even though that price is ridiculous and keep that for years or just go for the third gen?

iPhone IPhone 16plus for bigger screen?

I’m currently on an iPhone 14 Plus I’ve had for 2 years. It operates perfectly fine. I usually have about 25-30% battery by end of the day. I’m a medium user, not really any video or big apps but I’m texting and using Internet quite a bit.

I like a plus model, always have. The battery seems significantly better than regular models and I don’t feel compelled to get a pro max ever because I just don’t care that much. Every once and a while on a flight it’s much nicer to watch Netflix and I hate hate losing battery.

I’m realizing that the plus models are getting discontinued … and the 16plus is the last time a non-pro model will come in plus.

Soooo…. Should I get the iPhone 16plus for £750? I don’t really need it, I would usually wait 1-2 years, but since it’s kind of the last opportunity I’m wondering if I should just send it and delay needing to migrate off a model family I have a good thing with.

13 mini addict

I think I have a serious problem with my iPhone 13 mini.
I originally had the iPhone X, then bought the 13 Pro and eventually switched to the 13 mini. After that, I upgraded to the 14 Pro, only to downgrade straight back to the 13 mini.
I thought I would eventually move on, so I bought the 15 Pro Max and, a year later, the 16 Pro.
But guess what? I still used my 13 mini more than any of them. 😂
There’s just something about this little phone. The size, the weight, how easily it fits in your hand and pocket, and the fact that you can actually use it comfortably with one hand. Every other iPhone feels like a small tablet in comparison.
Today, I bought the iPhone 18 Pro in Silver, thinking that maybe this would finally be the upgrade that makes me leave the 13 mini behind.
And now, hours later, I’m already thinking about returning the 18 Pro and selling my 16 Pro.

iPhone Confused about buying iPhone 17

Hi! I'm considering buying an iPhone 17, but I have read many comments about how bad the battery life is. I am a light user. I like listening to music while I'm commuting, using language apps, and taking photos and short videos to make memories. As social apps, I only use Instagram and WhatsApp. I use Reddit on the web. I don't play heavy games. However, since this phone's mAh capacity is even worse than my six-year-old Android phone, I am confused. Would you still recommend it, or should I go for something like an iPhone 16 Plus?

iPhone What iPhone should I upgrade to?

I’ve had my trusty iPhone XS for 7 years now and it’s finally starting to give out on me. I want to upgrade but not sure what I should upgrade to.

Ideally, I’d also use the new one for as long as possible and I prefer phones that aren’t too bulky. Also planning to finance it but I’d still like lower monthly payments if possible.
