Nothing against Linkin Park, I love them, but I can’t stand this song anymore, because of this

I discovered another bug on AM Beta (1609). When I turn on Lossless Audio in settings, but set downloads to High Quality, the downloaded audio sounds like Dolby Atmos, but without the badge on the Now Playing screen. What's strange is that my phone doesn't support Atmos.

Came across these two “singles” on two separate artists pages. Seems like AI; maybe a bug? Has anyone come across this before?

whenever i click on a deltarune/undertale song on my playlist it says currently not available in my country or reign and are greyed out but it only started this Saturday and when i go on his apple music account i can play the songs from there, it doesn’t work when it’s on the playlist but some of the songs aren’t greyed out but they still don’t work. and when i tried it out on another device it worked its only happening on mine and it’s only happening to toby fox music.

Is it just me, or has Apple Music completely ruined the concept of actual random playback?
I have a playlist with over 800 tracks. You’d think with a library that size, I’d constantly be rediscovering old favorites or hearing songs I haven't heard in months. Instead, every single time I hit Shuffle, the exact same 30 to 40 songs end up in the queue.

I get why Apple does it algorithmically:

- Caching & Load Times: Loading a pre-cached subset of songs is faster than shuffling 800+ tracks instantly on device.

- Algorithmic Bias: It tries to push songs it thinks you like right now based on recent listening history, active flow, or genre grouping.

But that completely defeats the point of a shuffle button. True random should mean pure 1/800 probability for every single track, regardless of when I last played it or how popular it is.

The only way I’ve managed to get around this is by using a custom iOS Shortcut to manually dump and randomize the whole list, or by setting up a Smart Playlist on macOS with a "Last Played is not in the last X days" rule.

Why do we need workaround scripts in 2026 just to get true randomness? Does anyone else find this endlessly frustrating, or have you found a better way to force Apple Music to actually play your full library?

I just opened apple music and realized that my 24h playlist was reduced to 7 and i lost a huge amount of songs. Some of them are still available and were just removed while some others we completely wiped off the surface of the app. I have multiple playlists with some of them who've been left untouched while others also had this huge wipe. I understand the fact that some artists (Edward skeletrix for example) could've been removed from the platform but i do not understand why others were just removed and I can simply add them back (Don toliver for example). The only fix I can think of would be to add them back one by one, has anyone gone through this ? Did I reach a "playlist limit" or something?

I'm using Samsung A55 5G and Apple Music 7.0.0 Beta. Last night I cleared the cache and clear data since Apple Music was taking so much space. Then I relogged in. Today when I tried to listen some music, Apple Music started to not play music. It was just loading. I reported this bug to Apple. Has anyone experienced similiar problem?

Lost my entire library because it keeps refusing to resync. How do I fix this annoying shit?

Phone notifications and alarms stop bluetoothed Apple music from laptop. I have a 2025 Macbook Air and a Samsung S26U (Android). If I'm playing Apple Music on my laptop streaming to a bluetooth speaker and my phone is also connected to the same speaker, if I get an alert on my phone (also alarm, SMS, FB message, etc), it stops the Apple Music from my laptop. Any idea how to work around this? Thanks.

So i have this issue from last few days i added a member in my family that family member is also marked as parent/guardian no restriction in that acount also
in my apple TV i noticed while listening music i am getting error "apple tv music app restricted content not available"
i allowed everything still its same any solutions?

i have even tried resetting it to factry and still its same

The app keeps crashing on the Home tab. The issue started on October 11, 2026.

Device: iPhone 16 Pro
iOS: 27.0.1 (the issue was already present on iOS 27.0.0)

Nothing has helped so far: reinstalling the app, repeatedly resetting network settings, restarting the phone, signing out of my Apple ID, disabling sync, clearing the cache and history, or canceling my subscription. All VPN services are disabled.

The app crashes without loading anything. Occasionally, after five or six attempts, I manage to tap the Radio or Library tab within the split second before it crashes, and the app then works normally.

I haven’t been able to find a single report of this specific issue online, apart from generic troubleshooting steps that haven’t resolved the problem. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any help or information about a possible fix would be greatly appreciated

It’s only this playlist that’s bugged. My stations show up normally. My friend’s Favorite Songs also displays normally.

UPDATE: For those who are looking for solutions, here’s the fix:
1. Copy your Favorite Songs playlist’s link via the share sheet
2. Paste it somewhere (e.g., Notes app)
3. Clicking on the link should take you to the playlist and the name should revert to normal.

I’m listening to Apple Music via AirPlay on my second generation HomePod speakers. I’m running the latest software on both. My understanding was that AirPlay could only stream at 2:56 AAC. Yet, this says it’s playing high resolution lossless. What’s actually coming out of my speakers?

I'm trying to explore Apple Music. Spotify's newest update with the liquid glass just pissed me off😂 It's so inconsistent with their original UI. I wished they made everything more cohesive.

But anyway, I've been using Spotify for 14 years. I have 54 playlists. Some playlists are 90-100+ hours long, and a bunch of other playlists I've downloaded offline as well. But overall, it only takes up 5GB on my phone.

I tried Apple Music this week, I transferred some playlists (only the short ones I have and currently listen to), and I downloaded 3 of my favorite artists discographies. All in all, that's not even half of what I transferred from Spotify. But surprisingly it takes up 6GB already?!

I really like AM so far— the UI/UX is better, the quality is a lot better... But the space it takes up is really concerning. I imagine if I transferred everything I have from Spotify + new saves and downloads in the future, the space AM would take would be enormous...

I'd really like to switch to AM but this is really bothering me. What can I do? I'd still really like to have some of my playlists and favorite artists downloaded bc I listen to music a lot even when I'm outside and offline. So if there's any way to lessen the space it takes up without compromising my downloads, that would be great 🥹🤞🏼 Thanks!

Both of my windows devices have done this today, I want to know if this will affect my iphone, ipad and macbook, the only way I've found to solve it on windows is de authourising the device and reauthurising which I can't do on my laptop since it requires verifacation from my phone.

really worried if it's device wide or just limited to the windows app specificly!

Note: I did reset / wipe my old iphone and logged out my old pc does this have anything to do with it? (need info urgently since Im panicing right now)

One of the reasons why I love the Apple ecosystem for music playback is its shuffle mode, particularly the ALBUM mode, where it'd play all the tracks in a single album sequentially (even gapless if the device supports it) and then randomly select the next whole ALBUM.

I've tried all the modes/options I've been able to find in Tahoe, but all of them seem to play random TRACKS. Even the icon in the infamous new "Now Playing" bar at the bottom is missing the "dot" from previous versions, which used to toggle between "per track" and "per album" modes.

Is it only my machine or one more post-Sequoia bug?

I quite liked when the Featured Artist tab showed the artists that the playlist featured the most. But after the most recent update, it's just displaying them in the order their songs were added to the playlist. Does anyone know how to switch this back?

I'm on a MacBook Air M2, MacOS 26.7.1, Apple Music 1.6.6

I did reset the cache and have tried updating the iCloud library multiple times.

The songs under the artist are a combination of iTunes purchased music and iCloud library items.

So far, Kylie is the only artist I know that it's happening for. I can find the albums through searching their name directly, and everything comes up when I search her name, I just can't choose this Artist profile in Artist View, I have to scroll to it.

It's not an urgent matter that prevents me from listening to it, it's just highly annoying and I have no idea how many other artists are affected. My iTunes library extends back 20+ years with a combo of imported CDs, iTunes purchases, and the iCloud Library, so it's not easy to really hunt and find other missing ones.

Her Artist profile does show up in the local library on my iPhone, which is on iOS 26.6.

Any help would be appreciated, but considering how little I found when searching the web before posting here, not sure if there are any answers out there.

UPDATE: For those who might have this issue in the future, somehow the Artist and Artist Album field got completely deleted from a number of purchased and streaming albums. No idea how. Maybe I didn’t, I don’t know, but restoring that and Album Artist.

Unintentionally updated to IOS 27.0.1 and now alot of the songs from my playlists have been greyed out most of it being from Partynextdoor and sum other miscellaneous artists. So now what do i do to get rid of this problem bc ik fs that its because of sum glitch or bug which came from updating to the newest software. Am i supposed to wait it out or smth else? Please help.

Hello, I'm trying to switch to AM from Spotify, but I'm having a hard time adjusting. For anyone who recently switched how did you manage, because every time I use it for like an hour I get a kind of feeling that makes me want to switch back, but I really want to try switching. Do you have any tips for me.

Edit: I made the switch and cancelled my Spotify sub for now and will use AM until my Spotify sub ends. So far it has been better than the times I tried before

I’ve seen all the requests and complaints about lossless and Atmos and whatnot, but what I really want is for Sound Check to work really well and to be able to toggle it without going deep into settings for when I switch between albums and playlists.

Is there a better way to do this? I read the previous discussions about Sound Check’s merits, but I don’t see anything about this.
