So I randomly decided to check my iPhone Screen Time today, and I see this domain imasdk.googleapis.com showing 5 hours and 41 minutes of screen time. 💀
I’ve literally never noticed this before, and I have no idea what it is or which app is responsible for it.
Apparently it’s related to Google’s Interactive Media Ads SDK, but HOW is it showing almost 6 hours of usage?? Is this just some background activity from apps loading ads, or is something weird going on with my phone?
Has anyone else noticed this on their iPhone? Is this normal, or should I be concerned?
I’m genuinely confused because I definitely don’t remember spending 5+ hours on whatever this is. 😭

Has anyone noticed the odd font used to display AM/PM? Not entirely sure if i just ignored it in past updates but it caught me off guard today. The world clock kept the smaller-size font next to the actual time. It just looked overly large and thinned out.

Feel a little dumb for not figuring this out sooner. You can create a shortcut to open the timer section of the clock app itself instead of it defaulting to 15 mins in the Dynamic Island. Then save that shortcut in your control menu like normal.

Just do clock—>open tab—>Timers

I use the timer for cooking a lot so it was driving me nuts.

Decently frequently, when texting, ill select a whole word and delete it, or tap a suggested text and somehow, the cursor is like locked in place and clicking anywhere in the text box does not move it. I’ve found that double tapping a word and deleting or restarting iMessage it fixes it, but it is very annoying.

Is this a known bug and has this happened to you, or am I missing something

When tapping on a word it shows this text replacement bubble or what ever it is.
It never has anything relevant or remotely useful in it.
I have SwiftKey keyboard with 2 languages if that's relevant.

Basically this new feature just makes it that much bothersome to edit text.

(This is a repost, I didn’t get an answer before and it’s still not working) when me and my gf want to share play on FaceTime using paramount plus which we both have it gives both of us the option, we click on whatever we want to watch, it says we are shareplaying but the other person can’t see it. What I thought might be the issue is we are using the same subscription but I don’t think so anymore, I tried looking it up and it said to connect it to Apple TV which we both did and it still doesn’t work. How do I fix this? I have a iPhone 17 and she has phone 16 pro . And we were using the same profile while shareplaying so that might also be it. And we’re each on the latest software. What is the issue?

I want to try out Mint mobile in my area (I am currently on Cricket). What I thought I would do is sign up for Mint with a new phone number and a new e-sim. Then I could install that e-sim and use it part of the day, and then switch back to my regular sim (and my current phone number) for the rest of the day (as I have time and ability to test the service). Then, at some point, if I feel like Mint is working for me I would sign up again, but this time port over my number.

Is switching between sims (and phone numbers) throughout the day possible (and reasonably straightforward) on my phone? (iPhone 11)

I am assuming I can't have both services active at the same time (and I probably woudn't even want to to ensure I can tell if Mint is working where I need it to work).

I often use voice to text for web searches, texting, social posts, etc. Lately, I have noticed that the microphone sometimes turns off of its own volition before I am done. Earlier today, I was doing something and it turned off after every individual word I spoke. Is this a glitch or some kind of setting I can change? I don’t understand why it’s happening.

I have a MacBook Pro that I dual-boot between a personal install and a work install of 26.6.2.

I have an iPhone running iOS 26.6.2 also.

I'm having trouble getting non-iMessage messages to show up on the personal install on the Mac.

The iPhone shows Text Message Forwarding as enabled for the work install, but doesn't list the name of the personal install. This is listed above the message "These devices can send and receive text messages because each device has Messages in iCloud turned on."

So I go to Settings > my name > iCloud on the personal install of the Mac and

So I go to the Messages app on the personal install of the Mac, then Settings > iMessage and the box is already checked for "Enable Messages in iCloud". That should fulfill the requirement for the personal partition to be listed as enabled for text message forwarding, but nope. I tried unchecking it, and checking it. No change.

I tried signing out of iCloud and signing back in. This made it start working but on my iPhone it now only lists the name of the personal install, not the work install for Text Message Forwarding. 😡

Any idea why Apple can't handle two partitions both being usable for text message forwarding? This is super annoying!

Other than that, this seems to be a great way to handle using a Mac for personal stuff while also having the company's security bloatware one it. I've got Jamf, Crowdstrike, Okta, and more, and none of them bother me in my personal partition. :)

New iphone 18 pro max on iOS 27.0.1. got phone 1 week ago transitioned from android and have no problems with sending individual messages, but group messages get stuck with this blue progress bar and message pop up at the top. Progress bar never gets full. I have tried all the things. Restarting, turning iMessage off and on. Reset settings. If the internet mentions it, I’ve tried it. Trying to see if there’s an iOS problem or maybe it’s just the new phone or something else I may be missing?

For years I wanna to download all my music collection to my iPhone. But AIMP is not available in the App Store. So...maybe there is alternative, which can work with folders like AIMP?

I have an image I want to send to multiple recipients, but want the message to be sent to each one separately so I’m not sharing everyone’s phone numbers with each other. I don’t want to go thru the hassle of having to go into setting and turn off group messaging each time and then remember to turn it back on.

Why does my “always allowed” section under screen time still show apps I already deleted a while ago like Tinder and Instagram?? Would love an answer.

if i blocked someone and they send me a text (during block), and then after i unblock they reply to their own text message that was sent during the blocked period, what would that look like? would the reply bubble still be there but just empty? or would it not even show the reply bubble at all and just send as a solo text? just curious because i had someone i had blocked text me a message that didn’t really make sense so i’m curious if it was possibly meant to be a reply to a blocked message i never received. thanks
