I’m a serial reddit lurker so I have very low karma but I’d love to participate in my local subreddit. I just want to participate :( Are there any subreddits that don’t require a lot of karma that I can engage in so I can build mine up? please interact so I can hopefully get some karma! thank you!!

As the title states my account got hacked, and the hacker used my account to post NSFW content/spam ads. I got control of my account and notified Reddit support about the issue. However, now I can’t get rid of the NSFW tag on my account and I feel it’s causing my account to get flagged by bots. It’s also just embarrassing most importantly. How do I get rid of it? Thanks in advance.

I have at least 3 unlocked achievements that I cannot access. Whenever I tap on Buzz-worthy post, Cool comment or Nice post, I get this:

I lost access to my account as someone added 2FA. I received an email stating it had been added. Reddits Security team has stated in the bottom of the email to reach out to support if it wasn’t me who made that change. So I did. & now I’m being told there’s nothing that can be done? Why have someone reach out when you can’t do anything. My personal information (email & phone number) is linked to that account & now someone just has access to my stuff & REDDIT CAN’T do anything??

All my old posts were deleted without any explanation. Why did this happen?

supposedly received 2 comment awards. Why would they not be showing on the post?

hey can anyone explain how to ensure that reddit doesnt freeze?
i will be scrolling through my feed and it just starts lagging. my internet connection is good, browser is updated, no other tabs open. i dont know if im scrolling too fast for stuff to load properly but it starts to buffer and then just crashes and closes the chrome browser entirely.
are there settings i need to enable within reddit or chrome to ensure smoother browsing?
i cannot figure out the issue, any help would be appreciated!
i am new to using reddit and would like to have a better experience

What is the point of the weekly recap if each week has the same negative responses to the "For You" section and the removal of sort by "Hot"? Each week the thread is the same comments asking for the experimental UI to be reverted, turned off or allowed to be opt out, and yet each week those requests are just ignored? Between my two account this testing of the new UI and removal of Hot has been going on for over a year and the reaction has been universally negative. So again what's the point?

I need to know if I can find the username (one of my old accounts that I partially remember) if I know the name of a subreddit I posted to, the exact date of the post, and partial title of the post.

Is there any way to do this???

I just can’t remember my full username and I really need to log back into that account.

my account was locked for "security reasons" reddit asked me to change the password which i did and my account is still locked, what do i do?

I am new here so my post are not getting posted. I cant understand the rules

Since the recent change to my home feed, there are SO many posts from subs that I only have a passing interest in that are all sitting at 0 upvotes. Why does reddit think I am interested in these? Even the community of those subs weren't interested in those posts so why would I be?

The silly thing is I go to those actual subs, there are actually some quality posts there, but reddit thinks its the ones with 0 (or even negative) upvotes that will tickle my fancy....

Does anyone else has this problem?? I'd wake up and my phone's system notification will show +11 from Reddit. I open it and the notification tab has no new notifications. It'll sometimes show the one most recent one. The next day that one's gone too and now it shows the new most recent one.

(Im talking actual notifications, and not chat or dms)

I've had this issue for a long long time. The notifications just keep on disappearing.

No website doesn't help. And I don't wanna hop on a website and I'm not even gonna try old reddit because even if it does work ain't no way I'm opening it every single time to check notifs.

Can y'all just tell me if this is a common issue

My account has bren acting pretty weird lately: randomly changing my settings, change the date i was born, my gender, the date i joined, keep sending me error messages, not working entirely in the app+ more. I just want to let other people see my account/ art :(

Is Reddit trying to deprecate the standard home feed, ‘Following’ with ‘For You’. After the latest app update on my iPad running iOS 27, Following only shows a few posts, then recommends other feeds to subscribe to.

I’ve had my account locked twice in two weeks. Once I thought was due to using an open wifi but the second time I’m on my home wifi as always. I’ve changed my password. What else can I do?

(I’m using iOS 26.6.2 and the most recent Reddit update. I’m also experiencing the same issues on Safari and Duck Duck Go on my MacBook. These problems don’t happen on my alt accounts.)

THE ACCOUNT I’M WRITING ABOUT IS NOT THIS ACCOUNT, it’s account “HLOFRND” (no 5 at the end) but that account won’t let me post or send DMs so I made an alt.

Here is my problem:

A few days or so ago now my account started glitching.

First I thought Reddit in general was down, but nope. Wouldn’t load threads or comments, just seemed like Reddit was down. I kept getting the little Snoo fallen over on his face when I tried to load anything.

Then when it came back up, my profile pic reverted back to one of the generic ones on its own.

And since then I have been getting the “rate limited exceeded, please wait X minutes and try again” error every time I try to comment, and all posts are caught in filters. I could literally be off Reddit for 12 hours and the first time I try to post a comment when getting back on I get an error.

My alts don’t do it at all- just the HLOFRND account. It’s my primary and my favorite one. I really don’t want to have to ditch it.

Please help!!!

In Settings, my Privacy tab is empty. My Profile tab is missing the "Curate your profile" options. I also get frequent "We had a server error..." messages.

This problem occurs on both Firefox (the main browser that I use), as well as Edge (my backup for websites that require a Chromium browser). I've already tried clearing cache and cookies, on both browsers. It didn't help.

The problem occurs on all of my devices, including my Desktop (Windows), Laptop (Windows), and my phone (Android). I access Reddit via Firefox on my phone also. I don't use the Reddit app.

I'm asking about this here because in searching about this issue, I've seen others with the same issue and the recommendation is usually to ask for help here.

Thanks.

I was trying to share an old comment thread with a friend (https://www.reddit.com/r/osugame/s/dfSz1wd9XX), found it in my post history and sent it to them, but to them the entire comment thread had everything i said as [deleted]. checked a few other posts and things and a lot/most/all of them have the same issue except for more recent stuff. I had my account hacked a year or so ago, so i think that maybe when they spammed a bunch of junk across the platform it somehow nuked my old posts, but i don’t know why they would still be completely 100% visible on my end? is there anything i can do to get everything to be visible again for everyone?

Hi all, my profile settings (display name, About, social links) won't save on desktop or in the app. Every save fails with "We had some issues saving your changes. Please try again." The console shows "No profile ID for profile settings page."

This looks like the same issue an admin fixed here: https://www.reddit.com/r/help/comments/1vnz15y/. My account is 12 years old, so I suspect it never got a profile record. I've also submitted a support ticket. If an admin could take a look, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

For some reason for a while now I haven’t been getting notifications about comments at all. The only notifications I get are recommended posts from communities I’m in. I get 0 notifications on comments that have replies (comments I’ve made that others responded to). I don’t post much but the last time I did I got notifications on comments for that. Only way I found this out is going back to try to find a post I had commented on just to see. This has been an issue for a while but I just actually noticed it a few days ago. I just thought I wasn’t getting responses but turns out I am.

When I'm in a subreddit and view a post with media, the comments automatically display. However, when I am in the subreddit and searching for a specific topic, opening any post with media will display the media only and comments have to be clicked via the sidebar first.

Is there any way to view comments right away without that extra tap?

Video attached for reference.

I was in the pokemon champions subreddit and clicked the first post about Torkoal. Comments display right away. I then searched in the subreddit for Torkoal and found the exact same post again. Clicked it this time and the comments don't display unless you press the button on the right.
