my account was locked for "security reasons" reddit asked me to change the password which i did and my account is still locked, what do i do?

Hello, I had done my streak yesterday afternoon (as I’m writing this it’s midnight). I know for sure I had interacted already with a post and this isn’t the first time it has said I hadn’t when I did. This time however, it took away my streak when I went to go upvote at 12:01 AM. This is the first time it has done this, if I ever had missed a upvote it had always let me still have my streak. I was at 758. I am completely devastated and have no idea what to do. Is there anyway I can get it back?

All my old posts were deleted without any explanation. Why did this happen?

I need to know if I can find the username (one of my old accounts that I partially remember) if I know the name of a subreddit I posted to, the exact date of the post, and partial title of the post.

Is there any way to do this???

As the title states my account got hacked, and the hacker used my account to post NSFW content/spam ads. I got control of my account and notified Reddit support about the issue. However, now I can’t get rid of the NSFW tag on my account and I feel it’s causing my account to get flagged by bots. It’s also just embarrassing most importantly. How do I get rid of it? I was scrolling through reddit and I saw something truly disturbing. It was on a subreddit. It was all drawings or AI I couldn't tell, but it was still disturbing. I want to report it but I quickly left and now I can't remember the same of the sub and I don't want to look it back up. What should I do? It bugs me not reporting it but at the same time I only remember like the first two characters of the sub.

I have at least 3 unlocked achievements that I cannot access. Whenever I tap on Buzz-worthy post, Cool comment or Nice post, I get this:

supposedly received 2 comment awards. Why would they not be showing on the post?

I’m a serial reddit lurker so I have very low karma but I’d love to participate in my local subreddit. I just want to participate :( Are there any subreddits that don’t require a lot of karma that I can engage in so I can build mine up? please interact so I can hopefully get some karma! thank you!!

Since the recent change to my home feed, there are SO many posts from subs that I only have a passing interest in that are all sitting at 0 upvotes. Why does reddit think I am interested in these? Even the community of those subs weren't interested in those posts so why would I be?

The silly thing is I go to those actual subs, there are actually some quality posts there, but reddit thinks its the ones with 0 (or even negative) upvotes that will tickle my fancy....

Does anyone else has this problem?? I'd wake up and my phone's system notification will show +11 from Reddit. I open it and the notification tab has no new notifications. It'll sometimes show the one most recent one. The next day that one's gone too and now it shows the new most recent one.

(Im talking actual notifications, and not chat or dms)

I've had this issue for a long long time. The notifications just keep on disappearing.

No website doesn't help. And I don't wanna hop on a website and I'm not even gonna try old reddit because even if it does work ain't no way I'm opening it every single time to check notifs.

My account has bren acting pretty weird lately: randomly changing my settings, change the date i was born, my gender, the date i joined, keep sending me error messages, not working entirely in the app+ more. I just want to let other people see my account/ art :(

Is Reddit trying to deprecate the standard home feed, ‘Following’ with ‘For You’. After the latest app update on my iPad running iOS 27, Following only shows a few posts, then recommends other feeds to subscribe to.

hey can anyone explain how to ensure that reddit doesnt freeze?
i will be scrolling through my feed and it just starts lagging. my internet connection is good, browser is updated, no other tabs open. i dont know if im scrolling too fast for stuff to load properly but it starts to buffer and then just crashes and closes the chrome browser entirely.
are there settings i need to enable within reddit or chrome to ensure smoother browsing?
i cannot figure out the issue, any help would be appreciated!

I’ve had my account locked twice in two weeks. Once I thought was due to using an open wifi but the second time I’m on my home wifi as always. I’ve changed my password. What else can I do?

I create a new account but it never lasts long before I'm in hot water. I made it because I left nearly a year ago and I never managed to get back in. Why is it so hard!? Any advice BTW?

I was logged out of all my gmail accounts today and wasn't able to log back in to the account that I used to set up this Reddit account. It was an old gmail account and I forgot to update my account information with my new email account. Now I don't have access to that gmail account because it's so old the backup recovery account apparently is also an old account because when I try to reset the password to get access it doesn't sent the code to my new email account.

So I tried to change my email for this Reddit account but when I try to do that there is a message that a code will be sent to the current email account which I no longer have access to. So I'm assuming I'm just out of luck and won't be able to access email for this Reddit account now. I can still log in but if I forget my email or need to log in to my account now I won't be able to do that.

Is that correct that nothing can be done or is there anything that I can do about it?

(I’m using iOS 26.6.2 and the most recent Reddit update. I’m also experiencing the same issues on Safari and Duck Duck Go on my MacBook. These problems don’t happen on my alt accounts.)

THE ACCOUNT I’M WRITING ABOUT IS NOT THIS ACCOUNT, it’s account “HLOFRND” (no 5 at the end) but that account won’t let me post or send DMs so I made an alt.

Here is my problem:

A few days or so ago now my account started glitching.

First I thought Reddit in general was down, but nope. Wouldn’t load threads or comments, just seemed like Reddit was down. I kept getting the little Snoo fallen over on his face when I tried to load anything.

Then when it came back up, my profile pic reverted back to one of the generic ones on its own.

And since then I have been getting the “rate limited exceeded, please wait X minutes and try again” error every time I try to comment, and all posts are caught in filters. I could literally be off Reddit for 12 hours and the first time I try to post a comment when getting back on I get an error.

My alts don’t do it at all- just the HLOFRND account. It’s my primary and my favorite one. I really don’t want to have to ditch it.

Please help!!!
