Things Pro-Choicers Say “Your reason for having an abortion is valid.”
Yes, there are people who believe that, which is why we're in this mess. The average pro-choicer is okay with women having abortions for these reasons
• The baby is male
• They just lost their job
• They're in college and don't want to struggle too much
• Their boyfriend left them
• The baby is disabled
I don't understand it. It's awful. They will never convince me. I would love to hear one of them explain how and why all of this is justifiable. It probably has to do with the fact that it's not a conscious baby but I don't believe that anymore since most of these pro-death people don't bat an eye at late-term abortion.

Things Pro-Choicers Say Pro choice is actually pro abortion
Someone in a pregnancy subreddit asked for advice on “how to make a decision” regarding an abortion for her current pregnancy & was not ashamed of her previous abortion. I was banned for my response because that makes me a “anti choice activist”
You can’t be pro choice if you hate everyone that chooses life.

Questions For Pro-Lifers How do you guys keep faith?
Hi, I'm writing this because I used to be extremely pro-choice, but then I researched abortion practices and the statistics on why they happen. I also looked at images of aborted babies from the first trimester to the third trimester, and it broke the desensitization I'd had in my brain for so long toward the murder of unborn children. Turning to God really helped me see why it was wrong.
But now, every time I hear people supporting abortion or being pro-choice, or even hear about someone who has gotten an abortion or is contemplating one, it hits me deep in my heart. I feel absolutely horrible for them and their child. I think it's probably turning into something hateful, which is bad because I know God says to forgive. Every day, my hatred for people who harm unborn children grows stronger, and I just want justice for them because it breaks my heart.
I was also supposed to be an abortion myself. My mother was going to abort me when she found out she was pregnant with me. Everyone in my family supported her except my grandmother. My mother went into the abortion clinic and was getting ready for the procedure, and while the doctor was putting on their gloves, a minute before the procedure started, my mother received a call. My grandmother begged her not to do this, and it saved my life. I think about it probably every day because I was so close to death myself and I was saved, and I wonder how different the people around me and their lives would have been if I wasn't here.
I just need some help or advice on how you guys keep going and don't let this injustice and sadness reach your hearts every time the topic of abortion is brought up including how it feels like a lonely battle because almost everyone is promurder everywhere I look

I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant with an unwanted pregnancy. I tried to self-manage an abortion at 20 weeks, which failed. Still pregnant.

Pro-Life General I’m so exhausted by the death penalty issue being thrown at pro-lifers as some sort of “gotcha”
If you’re against the death penalty that’s your right, that’s not what this post is about.
It’s about how many people seem to be genuinely, irredeemably stupid. If you can’t comprehend how a person being anti-abortion and pro-death penalty are not remotely the same, I don’t even know what to tell you. I’m past the point of hand-holding other Americans through common sense and dragging them kicking and screaming to basic morality. I just want to shake them and scream USE YOUR BRAIN.
To me, it’s very simple. The vast majority of abortions are due to the conscious actions of the mother, who then wants to shun accountability and the innate consequences of sex. In instances of r*pe she is absolved of fault HOWEVER the life within her is still innocent. Babies are inherently innocent and should not have to pay for their parent’s regrets or sins.
Someone who has been sentenced to the death penalty has committed a heinous crime and generally is no longer deserving of the gift of life. There’s no reason for them to sit in a cell, sustained by our tax dollars.
That’s it. There’s no need to complicate it further.

Things Pro-Choicers Say "I could give my life for it"..."jk jk, because I got dreams and want to travel!"
This was from the same post, but I cropped it since it was so long. I always feel so disgusted when PC people talk about how much "love" they have for their baby, just for their next sentence to be how they truly only love themselves and that they are going to murder their baby.

Questions For Pro-Lifers I think I'm becoming an abolitionist
UPDATE: This comment section has made me realize the transformation is complete. I am an abolitionist.
I used to consider myselt pro-life, but I think thats disingenuous of me.
I truly think that abortion should be abolished, and the people responsible for the abortion should be prosecuted. I agree with the abolitionist movement that says the pro-life side may be hindering the criminalization of abortion by allowing lawmakers to choose the "less extreme" version of a bill. I also think pro-life might be contributing to slowing the cultural change we need so that people start to see abortion as murder.
The only thing is that I'm not sure how those laws would work. How could we make sure the right person is punished if, say, an abuser forced a woman to take abortion pills in private? It becomes his word against hers.
Is anyone else leaning in this direction? If so, how do you think the law would be applied for these situations? What about any other potentially unclear situation?

Things Pro-Choicers Say Please tell me it’s rage bait
I just read a horrible story on one the subreddits here about a lady who is 32 weeks and just found out her baby has T21. She wants to terminate because “T21 babies are not cute and her holiday pictures are ruined” I almost vomited reading her comments. The subreddit is extremely pro choice and I was relieved to see most people were disgusted with her.
Someone please tell me this is rage bait I can’t believe someone would say something so horrible.

Opinion So I have a question for yall and I’m sure it’s been asked many times already but I’m stuck with an answer of my own
When it comes to
Rape to women and girls
Life threatening pregnancies
Or if someone has suicidal thoughts because of their pregnancy
Do you think an abortion should be granted
And also another thing I’ve been stuck on is
Do yall think abortion should be criminalized
Like jail, prison etc
But not execution
I think in my opinion that’s going too far
What are yalls thoughts
And I’ve said no about criminalization because I’m afraid if I say yes it will sound offensive so that’s why I’m stuck on an answer
Ether way I believe and will always believe abortion is murder of a innocent baby

Pro-Life General Boycott these evil companies!
All of the companies listed in this article provide funding for their employees to travel in order to receive out-of-state abortions in states when they are located somewhere where bans are in place.
It’s absolutely sick and dystopian that companies would rather pay thousands of dollars for you to murder your own child than to pay for maternity leave and potentially lose a wageslave to parenthood.
Oh, and Reddit “provides a stipend to cover abortion related travel to its impacted employees.” So this very site is actively funding the murder of innocent children. I’m disappointed but not at all surprised.

Pro-Life General My mother's story
In recent light, I thought I should share my mother's story with getting pregnant for the first time. It will be told from her perspective.
When I was 19 years old, I was attending a Catholic university getting my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. I had started college early, after finishing my junior and senior year of high school in one year and thought I had everything figured out in that point of my life. I even had a boyfriend who I thought I'd eventually marry.
All of that changed in the fall of my junior year of college. I had went to a male friend to borrow a computer and my boyfriend saw the interaction. When I later came to his apartment that same day, he brought up the interaction earlier and started arguing with me about it. I became very defensive as I did not see a reason why this should even be a topic of conversation. Our argument eventually turned into a fight ending with him assaulting and then kicking me out of his apartment. I went to my dorm and cried the entire night. Obviously, we broke up and avoided each other afterwards. I reported my assault to the dean at the time, who urged me to not go to the police as he was worried about this becoming public. Me, being a scared teenager, went along with it. I didn't have the energy to fight anymore. I was scared if I did, he would come for me again.
As time went by, I noticed I hadn't gotten my period in a while. I mentioned it to a friend who said stress is an underlying factor so I chocked it up to that and moved on. That was until I started getting sick. I did think that I could be pregnant, but I still thought that was a slim chance, so I tried to push past it and see if maybe I had caught the flu. After the symptoms persisted, I went to a pregnancy crisis center, where I found out I was in fact pregnant.
I was terrified. This wasn't how my life was supposed to go. I wasn't planning on having kids until I was at LEAST 25 and married. Now, it felt like I was just so lost and confused. About a month after, I went on a road trip with my family to Florida, where my depression spiraled. At the end of it, I told my parents and siblings that I was pregnant. They were shocked. My parents especially were worried, considering I was supposed to go on a study abroad trip in Europe. They urged me to stay and take the semester off to move in with them. I, once again being a stupid teenager, refused and went anyway. While I was in Europe, I was getting an ultrasound done and I hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time. It was probably the most beautiful sound I've ever heard in my life. I think many mothers will agree with me when I say that hearing the heartbeat really bonds you with the baby. In my womb, there was a little human inside me and it needed me. It needed its mommy.
The doctor performing the ultrasound then looked confused and brought a bunch of residents in and became very excited. He kept saying that there was a problem with the baby and they were going to fix it. I was very confused and startled and asked him to elaborate. He said my baby had a rare heart defect but that they were going to fix me. I didn't understand how he was going to do it and he told me I needed to stay overnight in the hospital so that they could fix me. His wording was broken English, and I initially thought it was just that, but then after hearing him explain it more, I realized he was planning on giving me an abortion. I stood up, and walked out of that hospital and never came back.
I became so much more scared and protective over my baby than before. I then told my friend on the trip everything while breaking down sobbing. She comforted me, and we both went to Rome later in the trip. While praying, I remember begging God for my baby's well being. There was nothing I wanted more than for my baby to be OK.
Around June, I came back to America, and found out that the previous heart defect my baby was diagnosed with was gone. I was so overjoyed. I stayed with my parents that summer and gave birth to my beautiful daughter. I remember after a day of labor, exhaustion and tiredness, I looked into her eyes and all of that went away. She had the most beautiful wide blue eyes. She was never the "rapist baby", she was always my baby.
I came back to school the following fall and was very well supported by my peers (for the most part). I did notice a weird animosity some people had created upon finding out I was pregnant before marriage and had a baby. I distinctly remember talking with student council with a couple other young mothers and asking if we could start a support group for young mothers. Not that it matters, but all of the other women were married. (This is Catholic university after all). I remember one of the board members looked at us, then me specifically (while holding my daughter) and said "I don't know. I wouldn't want other students to think we support premarital relations." He said the last word relations, like it was almost a swear word. I was very offended. We went to a PRO LIFE university, and you're shaming me for having a baby while not knowing anything about my story.
The other women called him out on his comment but it really stuck out to me. Not that I would ever get an abortion, but I could imagine how much shame another young pregnant woman would feel hearing something like that. And that's a point I want to make. If you ever meet or interact with a pregnant woman in any situation, whether that be a teen pregnancy, premarital, her in a less than desirable financial situation, reserve your judgement. The thing we as pro lifers need to value is to support these women and give them help. Even other mothers that become pregnant from consensual premarital sex. They are literally caring for a life, and need support and compassion.
I'm now 50 years old, with 12 children, and my daughter is 31. For any young women reading this, please, always choose life

Things Pro-Choicers Say Pro-choice liberals couldn't wrap their heads around the concept of a socialist being an abortion abolitionist.
Socialism is an economic system while being pro-life is a social/cultural view. Communist Romania and the USSR weren't the only socialist governments to outlaw abortion; many Latin American leftists such as Hugo Chavez and Rafael Correa were or are against elective abortion.
More importantly, leftists claim to support equal rights for all humans, so they would be pro-life if they were logically consistent. Life begins at fertilization, and legalizing elective abortion either gives women and abortionists rights that no one else has, or creates exceptions for already existing rights.
Finally, Decree 660 in Romania was not meant to protect the unborn. It was meant to increase Romania's population so the country could become a great power. Using it to discredit pro-lifers is like saying abolishing slavery is bad because some countries did it for economic reasons.

Things Pro-Choicers Say YOURE PRO FORCED BIRTH
Is an inaccurate characterization of our position. Maybe pro forced birth once already pregnant, but not forced birth in general.
It's not forced pregnancy, it's forced staying pregnant, there's a difference. You don't have to get pregnant, you just can't back out of it at the cost of a human life.
It's like calling the existence of the military, or even any contract, slavery, just because you can be forced to do something under one. That would be factually wrong because you didn't have to sign the contract in the first place unless you were forced to.
You're not being forced to create humans, you just can't kill them once you do.
To give birth requires becoming pregnant, so a true "forced birth" position would imply forceful pregnancy as well, which pro life doesn't.
