I downloaded valorant from china

For the past few days, my phone has been acting super weird when I get in the car. I drive a 2026 Chevy Equinox. What happens is, I’ll get in the car, and after a few minutes my phone will close and give a pop up with “Activation Required” and then acts like I just updated it to a new version, giving me the Hello in different languages. It doesn’t let me back into my phone until I get a WiFi connection which I typically don’t have in the car. This is a huge problem because I lose access to music and the phones map app for GPS. I don’t know what to do anymore.

hello everyone! surely this is a rare bug but i can’t help but post about it because i’ve been plagued with this issue since ios 18. i use personal hotspot quite frequently as i use another iphone for media when i am away from my desk setup, however this bug is quite a nuisance for everyday use. i can’t connect if i have my wifi toggled to off on my host device (not to auto reconnect, but completely off) from my understanding hotspot already disables the wifi so i don’t understand why it needs to be on before the host device is discoverable? (i use bluetooth connection for them) i also have to go into wifi settings or personal hotspot settings on the host phone to make it discoverable as well. these devices are linked to the same icloud and are constantly being connected to each other so it’s strange to me that my devices don’t seem to want to cooperate unless i literally do every single process manually

i turn my wifi on my host device to “off” to a) save battery and b) because i have shitty wifi in the area i am using so i’d rather have a stable hotspot connection than shot-ty wifi.

host device: iphone 15 pro

connected device: iphone 8 plus (my m2 macbook pro (goldengate) , iphone 5c (ios 10), and iphone xs (ios 18) suffer the same issue)

not sure if this is a bug, if it is i’d love to know. otherwise i’m interested in understanding why this is the case, thanks everybody!

Hi! Got my new iPhone and I noticed that the text looks much smoother (less crisp) and the screen seemingly has less contrast than my old iPhone 15 pro. Which I feel makes it's difficult to read - my eyes are sooo tired after reading on my new phone. Has anyone else experienced that? I feel I'm going crazy, but I do spend a lot of time reading on my phone and now it like physically hurts.

After some research online and found very many people hit dead ends of trying to unlock their forgotten notes.
I decided to use hashcat and ChatGPT. ChatGPT did most of the leg work by setting up hashcat entirely so it can be local and have to right parameters. Only thing i provided was potential password combinations and correction on certain rules to follow. After 1 full day hashcat got my password matched and I was able to unlock my note.

I kind of just rushed this post initially so here is some more detailed information.

How I originally started this journey was using Passware and used its extraction tool to pull the NoteSQLite files from my Mac book and iPhone (on MacBook the files can be easily found with the directory ending in Apple.notes in finder) I then had ChatGPT examine those files and pull the information needed for hashcat such as: encryption type, hash and salt count, etc. (Also to note pulling from iPhone means backing your iPhone up to your computer so Passware or ChatGPT can extract the file you’re needing) Reason for pulling files from both my MacBook and iPhone is because the encryption type could be older on either device, therefore being compatible with the latest version of hashcat. We all know how Apple security is so it’s little pain in the butt but definitely helps in the long run, if your Mac is a dead end.

I had Hashcat on a thumb drive by itself already so I plugged it in, had ChatGPT set the parameters around hashcat for a certain notes file (meaning I stated the name of the note that I needed open). ChatGPT created a text document that is tied to hashcat so it can pull information from, such as password combinations, certain rules and other characteristics. I then entered in all information I knew into the text document as a single line, separating each combination (not ChatGPT).
Took the thumb drive to another computer of mind that is isolated but also with a better GPU and ran the command prompt there.

so I have a concert in 2 weeks and i really want to get nice videos even tho i have aa base iphone 15, so I watched some tiktoks and I made some adjustments on my camera settings, the thing is that now all the pics i take look kinda blurry, not really good or like how it was before😭 i changed again some settings but nothing is working, every tutorial I watched had the ios 26+, im still on 18, could that be possibly a reason for my bad camera quality now?

sorry if this is the wrong subreddit but i got an iphone 14 off ebay back in may and everythings been fine since then until ab a week ago when my power button stopped working. i thought it was fully broken and i should just get it fixed but sometimes it will randomly work again for 5 minutes?? also yes i took off the case and checked around for debris and its all fine. idk im so confused if anyone knows whats going on i'd love to know... obviously im concerned about me having gotten it off ebay but everythings been completely normal for about 6 months so idk...

On my iPhone 13 Pro, the macro lens doesn’t work. I have macro control set on and I recently tried cleaning the lens using a q tip and alcohol wipe but it won’t activate when I bring the camera close to an object

I’ve been encountering these lens glare whenever I take a photo of a light (may it be the sun or just inside a bright room). To remove it, I always have to take the photo with my phone upside down. Is this an internal issue or do I need to have the camera fixed? Thanks.

hey guys, don’t know if anyone else has had this issue but i had some photos in my hidden folder and they’ve randomly disappeared, they’re not unhidden, they’re not in recently deleted and not on my iCloud. i’ve been trying to get help off of apple support but we keep going through the motions with the same solutions that never work out and then i get disconnected or they suggest i call the number instead. was wondering if anyone had had any similar issues and what they did to remedy them? i was wondering if reverting back to an older backup would work, pls let me know, thanks.

Ran a race recently in the rain with my phone in my pocket. My iPhone 15 Pro had a small chip on the front glass in the top right corder. Discovered water underneath the lens so took it to a shop to get the water cleaned out the day after. After a screen replacement, the phone started to cycle on and off every 3 minutes. Was this due to a faulty repair or was the water damage inevitable? Trying to weigh my options before shelling out a bunch of money for a new phone :(

has anybody noticed their iphone locks (turns the screen off) right when you press the power button quickly than before, like when you have to double press the power button while downloading any app, when i did that my iphone locked on the first click, never happened to me before, i have an iphone 14 pro max!! please let me know if anybody faced this issue or is it just me!!

Recently upgraded from 14 pro max to 18 pro max and have been experiencing difficulties in typing. Firstly thought that is because of the muscle memory but it seems like it’s not it. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

I use the iPod dock connector over USB in a Honda. It trickle charges at 5w. How can I force it to use the 25w wireless car charger I have it mounted to?

The phone fell on a really busy road and it wasn’t until 40 minutes into his ride that my dad realized he had left his phone on the roof of his car. The phone alerted me that he had been in a bad accident so I rushed to the area only to find his phone lol

What’s shocking is the phone is still fully functional internally. It can both make and accept calls, and answers to find my. Siri obviously works as well since that’s how I called without a screen lol. Im still in shock that the phone is functional and it’s a testament to Apples quality.

I dropped my iPhone on a hard wood floor without a case on. it’s around a 80-90cm fall. Should I be worried about internal damage? I’ve dropped my phone multiple times before but I’ve always had a case on.

Hi all!

Lately I noticed a lot of my iMessages wouldn’t be delivered for a few hours and when I tried to FaceTime it would just keep ringing until the call is canceled and the person wouldn’t even have it as missed calls. Messages do get delivered at some point and the person replies as soon as they are delivered.
I’m wondering does this mean I’m blocked for that certain period of time or is there any other explanation?

Note: we’re in a long distance relationship, different time zones and I also tested while my iMessage wouldn’t get delivered, whatsapp was delivered instantly so it’s not an internet problem. I don’t use iMessage with anyone else to know if it would happen with others.

So this has been an issue for almost a year. Ive switched everything to my Gmail at this point but im not able to load any of my iCloud mail on the app or website. It does the same thing on my iPad and computer. If I have to call customer service I will but if there’s anything I can without calling (I have really bad social anxiety and making phone calls is something I struggle with) my iCloud works with everything else but my mail.
