Political Question How do you feel about this?

u/Rush-23 Sep 05 '26
Every death is small potatoes when you only care about yourself.

His son Barron could die and he wouldn’t shed a tear

He buried his ex-wife on his golf course and let it be overtaken by weeds. He’s incapable of love.
18
u/Grraaa Sep 05 '26
That's the one who "fell down a staircase", right?
10
u/Minimum_Virus_3837 Sep 05 '26
Yup. Right before her NDA regarding Trump was going to expire. Coincidence, I'm sure...

He’s evil and a psychopath. I’m almost 100 percent certain that that’s not the only body buried on the golf course… he’s doing this Yellowstone style
Edit: not Yellowstone, I was thinking of ozarks now that I’m remembering correctly. He’s doing it ozarks style

u/ThisIsNotSafety Sep 05 '26
I think he actually buried there for tax evasion reasons aswell.
“New Jersey state tax law exempts land dedicated to cemetery use from various taxes, including property, income, and sales taxes.”

u/bawbaggerythethird Sep 05 '26
Wasn’t this for a tax break?
3
u/Minimum_Virus_3837 Sep 05 '26
Yeah, less property tax if he can claim the golf course as a cemetery.

u/Material-Job-1928 Sep 05 '26
By having a grave on the golf course the property become "hallowed ground" under NJ law. Hallowed ground is not subject to property taxes. Her burial plot was a tax write off.
21
u/Environmental-Day862 Sep 05 '26
If his tee time was delayed 18 minutes he'd send a out a tweet complaining about it.
"Incompetent liberal golf course treated me very unfairly... so unfairly... no other President has been treated as unfairly as me."
But 18 people dead, their lives erased... people who had hopes and dreams for their futures, families and people that loved them, dogs sitting by the door waiting for them, their bodies in wooden boxes... that's "small potatoes."
F*#% that man with a hot iron poker.

He pushed his wife off a set of stairs and buried her at his golf course. The guy is a mobster. How do people not understand this?
2
u/Admirable_Exit_2674 Sep 05 '26
I keep reading this info but I can’t get to understand how you can be a free men after doing that?? Is that a “rumor” that he could be able to do that or is this a real fact???
3
u/jojo1556- Sep 05 '26
It is a rumor that she was pushed down the staircase. She was found dead and alone at the bottom of the staircase though, so who knows?

He’s on the record that people who serve in the military are suckers. The ones who voted for Trump obviously are.
23
u/KejsarePDX Sep 05 '26
And he said that to his Chief of Staff, retired four star General, who lost a son in combat.

u/Massive_Analysis8345 Sep 05 '26
Yeah he said that to retired General John Kelly (the last active service member who was drafted) while Kelly was heading to visit his son’s grave. Kelly later stopped working in the admin for “unknown” reasons.

u/OutrageosStarlight Sep 05 '26
The sad part is they’re proving him right by blindly defending him while he calls their brothers small potatoes. He said it, they just won’t hear it.

I don’t believe 18 is the real number.
Even if it is the real number it’s unacceptable.
And it’s patently absurd that a republican president can say this and the right will say and do nothing, but if a democratic president sneezes wrong they want them hanged.
I’m so tired of this shit.

u/NomadDK Sep 05 '26
Knowing the real number is difficult, but I don't find it difficult to believe, even though Trump is an autocrat-wannabe and lies every chance he gets.
This war, and how the US fights it, is not the kind that yields high casualties on their end. Iran is by no means kicking the Americans' asses. American political leadership just simply doesn't know what they're doing, and Iran is merely threatening the strait with just enough so that civilian ship traffic doesn't dare sail through.
The Americans are getting nowhere meaningful. They're learning that air power alone isn't sufficient to fully disarm an enemy, at least enough to fully control the strait.
The political leadership is highly incompetent, but the military is decent and capable. They just can't work magic, though.

Trump stated: “Well, I'll tell you what, a lot of people don't call it a war. I call it a military conflict because it's, it's small potatoes for us. It's not a big thing,”
2
2
u/Initial_Evidence_783 Sep 05 '26
So instead of saying their deaths were small potatoes he just dismissed them completely, ignoring them so he can talk about himself? Pretty sure that's even worse.
2
u/Dead_Internet69420 Sep 09 '26
When asked to elaborate, he began snoring, and then audibly defecated in his pants.
8
u/loveisGodbekind Sep 05 '26
No sweat off his sack
2
u/Historical-Ad2420 Sep 05 '26
On the contrary. He probably has an abnormal sweat to sack size ratio. Tiny scrote constantly dripping putrid juice.

For no reason other than to facilitate insider trading and distract from the fact that he was illegally suppressing evidence of his extensive involvement in an international child sex trafficking ring.
People who voted for this man are going to face hard questions on judgement day.
No rapture for any of you either.

I wonder if it was small potatoes if they were his sons and daughter? These sociopaths on top..
3
u/Obf123 Sep 05 '26
The answer is yes. Small potatoes. So long as it isn’t the one he’s sexually attracted to. He doesn’t care about the others
3
u/MaisieStitcher Sep 05 '26
He can say that because his personal war was avoiding STDs. He's never been in the line of fire, and he's never served a day in his life. Those AI generated pictures if him in uniform make me sick.
2
u/MarissaNL Sep 05 '26
What a complete morons.... every death is one too many. And as he started this war, those deaths are on his name....
2
u/Harrycrapper Sep 05 '26
Didn't they rake Hilary over the coals for years over the 4 deaths in Benghazi, an attack we didn't even directly precipitate?

Given what he’s said about McCain’s time as a POW, entirely predictable. He revealed that he thinks people in the military are suckers and losers. Republicans revealed their true beliefs by voting for him.
2
u/oldcreaker Sep 05 '26
He's killed hundreds of thousands by gutting USAID. Of course 18 dead would be small potatoes to him.

I think the same thing I think every time he opens his anus of a mouth and says something that would have ruined any other politician. The right will spin it or hell just not air it at all. It won't even make it to the people that need to see it. Their media is on lockdown. The left with gasp and say how outrageous it is for a week. Repeat. For years now and nothing is changing. it's the same awful thing on repeat. I've been pissed at the decisions the government makes for 30 plus years and we are making no progress or regressing. I've left the country and don't plan to return unless there is a real reckoning to prevent something like this creature becoming president and lawlessly running amok ever again. Not a shame fest, not a special on NBC, not a statue. Capital punishment. We learned nothing from the confederacy and if we wish to do this again down the road I think I'm good. We are two different countries living in two different realities at this point. Maybe we split it up while it can still possibly be done without violence. To be clear I want none of this to happen but feel it is inevitable.

Benghazi. 4 American Service People Died. We endured years of Republican political theatre because of it. Now, 18 is nbd. I guess inflation has really hit the value of human life since the Heritage Foundation took over.

u/True_Protection6842 Sep 05 '26
1 American dying in this pointless war is tragic. He doesn’t value anyone’s life but his own. Send his fat ass to die!!

I despise Trump with every ounce of my being, but this isn't exactly explicitly what he said. I don't doubt he feels this way but I don't believe he even had the troops in mind and yes that points to the issue right there and why we can assume that he feels that way but let's be precise. BTW I believe Trump feeling the war / conflict (where 18 died) is small potatoes is because a person that enlist isn't smart and not worth anything (meaning net worth), less than human beings.
5
u/Zoltan-Kazulu Sep 05 '26
Relatively to a war at this scale, those are practically very low numbers. Nothing emotional here, look on facts & numbers from other wars like Ukraine & Russia, Israel & Gaza, to see what numbers could have looked like.
3
u/Loughnashade Sep 05 '26
Honestly, this can be rounded to no casualty. Having a war casualty count of 18 is something countries actually pray for.

He’s probably comparing it to the amount of children he helped Netanyahu to kill.

u/angeloy Sep 05 '26
Small potatoes compared to the 170 school children and teachers killed by a Feb. 28 double-tap missile strike ordered by Secretary Drunkie McBoozeBro and the Republicans' tangerine messaiah.
2
u/JohnnyCrispZoom Sep 05 '26
Put Barron on the front lines with a ship being shot at and the war would be over.
2
2
u/Charming-Book4146 Sep 05 '26
Like, do you guys think 18 is a lot of people? One single division is ten thousand men. A division isn't combat ineffective till its been atritted at least thirty percent. That's three thousand casualties before a division will pull back from an engagement on the frontline to regroup.
Like, a broken clock is right twice a day, 18 is an almost impossibly low casualty count, even for a war that only lasts a week, much less 7 months.
America lost four hundred thousand soldiers in ww2. Do you think that was enough to stop us? We had eight and a half million more ready to go.
2
u/niemir2 Sep 05 '26
4 people died in Benghazi and Republicans held constant hearings and press conferences over it. Republicans still bring it up.
13 died during the Iraq withdrawal (that Trump made no preparations for after losing the 2020 election), and Republicans excoriated Biden.
Neither Clinton nor Biden chose the conditions that led to those deaths. Trump did choose this war.
2
u/Charming-Book4146 Sep 05 '26
My points have nothing to do with either of those instances. 4 is less than 18. 13 is less than 18. Republicans should relax and read a history book. Casualties have been insanely low in all American military operations since the massive technological leap showcased in the first Gulf War in '91. Like, unprecedentedly low. Historically I'm not sure if there is a single comparison to be made. Nearly all conflicts have thousands and thousands of deaths.
