One of the chiefs on our boat ordered a sailor to apologize to the O2 candle we were burning for wasting its oxygen.

When I made NCO and had to go to the leadership classes the unit shirt told us not to worry too hard about getting through the course because "think of the dumbest sergeant you know and remember that they made it through"
