It's wild how some people just seem to bounce back no matter what they say or do. Must be a different kind of resilience or maybe just a lack of consequence.

That's because it is a cult. Just look at what happened with TikTok. He originally was going to get rid of it in his first term, then campaigned in his second term for saving it (mainly for votes). He can say tomorrow that we are about to have a deal with Iran and it will be believed. Just like when we had him disparaging high prices during Biden's term, now we are just supposed to 'grit our teeth' and bear with the high prices now as 'patriots'. Lol.

Not only a "cult" problem. He got scot free for heaps of shit just because he could afford "justice" or lack thereof. Same goes for his politics, rich crook becomes a president - who would have thought? He's a symptom of screwed society.

I still think he gets a pass because of a Faustian deal with Satan. I'm not religious but it seems like the most reasonable explanation for how he gets away with doing and saying everything he does without consequence. Him getting elected not only once, but twice after provoking whatever the hell Jan 6th was,and project 2025 being written and available to be read by anyone prior to the election; is just too stupid for me to accept. The only way my brain can comprehend it, is that he is guarded by a shield of black magic in exchange for the souls of his entire bloodline. In those terms it all makes sense.

There was that photo caption from around the election about how they shall wear the mark of the beast upon their heads, with the photo itself being one of his goddamned red hats. Can’t deny that I’m starting to think you might have a point.

I'm not Christian, but it's hard not to feel some sort of way when you read how many similarities he has to the biblical antichrist

He said many agreements to end the war with Iran already. They keep starting a new war, I guess.

My father is a veteran, doesn’t like Trump, doesn’t like what he has done for the country- but “he ain’t votin’ for no Democrat!”

With the tangerine demographic?

Judging by a sharp increase in the “mar-a-lago look” amongst right wing sycophants… yes?

Haven’t you heard…Orange is the new black white

Chronic lack of consequences.

It's because cult leaders can do or say no wrong.

1

u/Hope8888 Sep 05 '26

Look at who he bounces back with… it’s a certain type of person

1

u/Hop4937 Sep 06 '26

Nah, his political survival is only a reflection on the state of mind of the voters and the outmoded electoral college system that lends power to ignorance.

I think the establishment has successfully convinced us that it’s good vs. evil no matter which side you’re on. You can really do anything in the fight against evil. Said another way, if you have programming that teaches you to hate “the other side” you will become hateful soon enough. Divide and conquer

Its called white privilege, patriarchy and immense wealth. If you got all those you can rape and murder little girls and still be president
