Looking for beta testers for PARACOS, a cosplay portfolio and community website

• Upvotes

Hi everyone — we’re the PARACOS team. We’re building a home for cosplayers, photographers, costume makers and other cosplay creators, and the website is now in beta.

Portfolios and contact details are often scattered across different social platforms. We want to make it easier for people in this community to find one another, and we’d appreciate some fresh eyes on the first-use experience.

If you’re interested, here’s a small test:

  1. Visit https://paracosglobal.com and create an account if you’d like to test posting.
  2. Share one portfolio piece you have permission to post, with collaborator credits and a link to your existing portfolio or contact page.
  3. Tell us whether uploading, adding details and finding your post felt straightforward.

What confused you? What would make this useful enough to return to? You’re welcome to leave feedback here; even browsing without posting is helpful.

We’re still early and can’t promise views or commissions. There’s no pressure to move your portfolio over — one piece or a first impression is plenty.

Thanks for considering a look.

— The PARACOS Team

Looking for Android beta users to help improve Smapi, a map and place-discovery app

• Upvotes

Hi! I'm building Smapi and looking for early Android users who can tell me what is useful, confusing or broken. It's a map and place-discovery app with search, category filters, place details and route planning. The Google Play closed test is now available worldwide.

The feedback I need most is about the first-use experience: can you find a place you're interested in, understand the filters, and work out how to preview a route without instructions? Slow loading and layout issues on different phones are also worth reporting. This is an early test, not a claim that every feature is perfect.

Joining takes two steps with the same Google account:

Join the Google Group (no manual approval):

https://groups.google.com/g/spaceaurora-smapi-internal-testers

Then opt in and install through Google Play:

https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.spaceaurora.smapy

A short first-impression report would be valuable; if you enjoy trying it, feedback over the next couple of weeks would help too. You can reply here or in the group. Please avoid sharing private location or account details in screenshots. Thanks for taking a look!

[Beta Testers Wanted] I built a free AI toolkit for YouTube creators — looking for honest feedback!

• Upvotes

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm an independent developer working on Digital Portal, an AI-powered platform designed to make content creation easier and faster.

The platform is currently in public beta, and I'm looking for people willing to test it and share honest feedback.

🌐 Website: https://digitalportal.com.tr

What can you do with Digital Portal?

  • 🎬 Generate AI-powered videos for YouTube Shorts and long-form content
  • 📊 Analyze YouTube channels and explore content strategies
  • 📅 Create content plans and publishing schedules
  • ✍️ Generate video titles, descriptions, and tags
  • 🛠️ Explore additional AI tools as they become available

Is it free?

Yes! Users receive free daily credits, which refresh every 24 hours. You can try the available tools without purchasing a subscription.

What kind of feedback am I looking for?

I'd really appreciate your thoughts on:

  • Is the interface easy to navigate?
  • Do the tools work as expected?
  • How useful is the generated content?
  • Did you encounter any errors or bugs?
  • What features would you like to see next?

The project is still under active development, so some features may be experimental or incomplete.

I'm especially interested in constructive criticism. If something doesn't work well, please tell me!

Thanks to everyone who takes a few minutes to test it. Your feedback will help shape the next versions of Digital Portal. 🚀

Looking for honest feedback on my iOS emotional wellbeing app — Lucemi

• Upvotes

Hey everyone!
We have been building an app called Lucemi, and we are looking for people who would be willing to test it and share their honest feedback.
The idea behind Lucemi is simple: sometimes we know something feels wrong, but we can’t explain exactly what we’re feeling or why.
Lucemi helps you explore your emotions, untangle overwhelming thoughts, reflect on situations, and figure out what to do next.
It’s not therapy, and it’s not meant to replace professional support. It’s a tool for everyday emotional self-awareness.
The app is already available on iOS, but we are still improving it.
We are looking for 15–20 people who could spend around 10 minutes trying it.
I’d especially love feedback on:
Does the app feel intuitive?
Is the “Untangle a Thought” feature actually helpful?
Is anything confusing, frustrating, or unnecessary?
Would you personally come back and use it again? Why or why not?
No need to share anything personal or sensitive.
You can try it here: https://apps.apple.com/au/app/lucemi-emotional-wellbeing/id6757187334

Or

https://lucemi.me
I’m the founder, and I’ll personally read and respond to your feedback.
Thanks for helping an indie developer build something useful!

Looking for testers: a Chrome extension that summarises articles and links every point to its source (free, no account)

I'm a solo developer and I've just released WebSum, a Chrome extension that summarises the article you're reading in the side panel. I'm looking for people to try it on real articles and tell me where it falls short.

What it does: you click the icon on an article and get a TL;DR, key takeaways and caveats beside the page. Every point has a ¶ link that jumps to the paragraph it came from and highlights it, so you can check the summary instead of trusting it. It also explains charts and screenshots.

What testing involves (about two minutes):

  1. Install it from the store link below. No account is needed.
  2. Open an article you already know well and click the WebSum icon.
  3. Click a couple of the ¶ links.

What I'd like to know:

  • Did the summary get the main points right, or did it miss or invent anything?
  • Did every ¶ link land on the right paragraph?
  • Was anything confusing in the first minute, including the permission requests?

Cost: free for 2 summaries a day without an account, or 5 with Google sign-in. That's enough to test it. There's a paid plan (US$10 a month) but nothing in this test needs it.

It doesn't do these yet: history, follow-up questions, or browsers other than Chrome.

Chrome Web Store

42-second demo

Reply here with what you find. I'll answer every comment, and I'm happy to test your project in return.

DIGI camera app — looking for early testers ahead of our October 21 beta

We're building DIGI, a camera app with the charm of a digital camera, already in your pocket.

We're gathering an early-access group before our planned October 21 beta launch. If you like taking photos of everyday moments and want to help shape a new camera app, we'd love to have you.

Join the list:

https://joindigi.app/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=community&utm_campaign=beta_oct21&utm_content=alphaandbetausers

This is an early-access signup; the beta isn't available to download yet. The site asks for your name and email so we can send beta updates. Phone number is optional.

Once the beta opens, we're especially interested in how easy it is to get started, how the photos feel, and what would make you use DIGI again.

What's the one thing you'd want from a digital-camera-style app?

I made my first app: MinDrop, one sticky-note board for everything on your mind

Hey everyone. This is my first real project ever and it just got approved on the App Store, so I'm kinda nervous posting this lol.

It's called MinDrop. Basically a board of sticky notes for whatever's in your head. You drop something in and it turns into a note, a list or a reminder, and it syncs between iPhone, Android and web. You can also forward emails or text stuff to it and it shows up on your board. There's an Apple Watch app too.

Full honesty, I'm not a pro developer. I built most of this with AI coding tools and a lot of trial and error on nights and weekends. I test everything but I'm sure there's stuff that's broken or just weird.

That's why I'm here. I want real feedback, good or bad. If something sucks, tell me. I take criticism well and I'd rather hear it now than after more people are using it.

It's free, no ads, no subscription. Signups are invite-only for now so it doesn't fall over. Request one at mindrop.app and I approve them myself, usually same day.

iPhone: it's on the App Store, or grab newer builds on TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/XqAuwUTb

Android: closed test right now. After you sign up go to Settings > Help & apps > Request Android access. Google needs 12 testers sticking around for 14 days before I can launch it publicly, so Android people would really help me out.

You can leave feedback in the app, comment here, or DM me. Thanks for even reading this far, means a lot.

Looking for Beta Testers for Git based CAD platform

Hello r/alphaandbetatesters

I am a mechanical engineer who picked up software development about 8 years ago and found tools I wish I had back when I was making physical designs. Something to prevent the old issue where Bracket.FCStd turns into Bracket_v5_final_final.FCStd (or if you follow ASME Y14 strictly even before creating engineering drawings on CAD work BRACKET_REV_005-A.3) and a tool that would probably have prevented my loss of designs from a decade ago.

Software developers have a tool called Git and a hosting service built on it that most use called GitHub. Git has been around for about 20 years. If you are unfamiliar, it tracks changes in files so every save point records who changed what and why. It can get quite complicated but it is how just about every major (and minor) piece of software is built and collaborated on.

Unfortunately, the people who move atoms and not just electrons did not get the same opportunity unless you have enough money for a PLM or PDM seat which works well if your whole team lives in one CAD package. (Don't get me wrong, there are reasons. Merging text is rather simple while merging binaries is nearly impossible and storage is far more expensive.)

I spent the past few months building and testing Nurbly, version control for CAD built on a real Git backbone, made for people focused on physical designs. While Git typically works on the command line, Nurbly does have a companion application for Windows and Linux to help make the uploading process easier and you will not need to use the CLI as often.

I just opened up registration for [Nurbly](https://nurbly.com) and am looking for more Beta users. The Alpha phase led to a few bugs being found and corrected as well as functionality like the companion being created.

I do not want to blindside anyone about the business model. The system is designed for hosting open designs and there will always be a free tier (where I would expect beta tests to be) with unlimited public repositories, plus at least one private repository if you do not want to open source your designs. Unfortunately, CAD files are large compared to text files and when teams get large or need multiple private repositories, there will be a small cost to keep the servers spinning.

Here is a list of current capabilities

\- Large CAD files are handled for you. Drag them into the browser, or let the companion offer to check in your changes when you save.

\- A 3D viewer in the browser for STEP, IGES and FreeCAD files, so someone without a CAD seat can review a part.

\- Compare two revisions of a STEP side by side or as an overlay, plus a face-level diff that shows which faces were added or removed.

\- Pull requests with review and approval before a change lands, and file locks so two people can't check in conflicting changes to the same part.

\- Mass properties, clash detection, section cuts, and draft, wall thickness and undercut checks.

\- Import an existing repository from GitHub or another Git host with its large files, or keep one mirrored.

\- Search the text files in any repository.

Native formats such as SLDPRT, IPT and F3D are versioned but not previewed or compared, so commit a STEP export beside them for review. Would love suggestions on desired functionality and found bugs.

The attached video new but it isn't the best demonstration of the diffing.

[Android] Looking for testers: a car logbook app that records your drives automatically, no account needed

I've built Just Drive, an app that keeps a car logbook for you while you drive. It's made for Australia's 12-week tax logbook, but the tracking works anywhere, so you don't need to be Australian to test it.

How it works: put your phone in your pocket and drive. Each trip is recorded on its own: start and end, distance, times and addresses. Once a day you swipe through your trips, right for work and left for private. That's it.

What I need: Google Play requires new apps to have 12 testers stay in a closed test for 14 days in a row before release. If you can:

  • install it from the Play test link I'll email you
  • leave it installed for 14 days and drive as you normally would
  • tell me if a trip was missed, split wrongly, or anything confused you

...that would be a huge help.

Privacy: the app has no account and no analytics. Your trips stay on your phone and in your own backup. Nothing is sent to me.

Cost: free for testers.

Want to help? Leave the email address you use on Google Play here, and I'll send you the test link when it opens: https://forms.gle/9p6mm6yf4ZdyNA3R9

Feedback on the landing page is welcome too: https://cediim8.github.io/just-drive-site/

iPhone version is coming. I'll invite iPhone testers through TestFlight once that's set up. Happy to answer any questions here.

[Feedback wanted] Recap: ask questions about a client and get answers from your own email history

I’m a student in NZ and built Recap for freelancers and consultants who lose track of what they quoted, promised, or last discussed with a client.

It connects to Gmail read-only. You pick a client, ask something like “what did I quote them?” or “have they paid?”, and it answers only from the actual emails. If it isn’t in the emails, it says so.

It’s early and rough. I’m not asking you to connect your inbox right away. I can send a short demo video first, and if it looks useful and you’re happy to try it, I’ll add you as a tester (Google requires me to approve each address while the app is unverified).

I’d most like feedback from anyone who manages several clients over email. What would make you trust a tool like this, or not?

[Windows, Alpha] NextScan - free memory scanner for single-player games, looking for testers

Hi! I'm looking for a few testers for NextScan, a free Windows memory scanner I built (a Cheat Engine-style tool with browser-style tabs).

What it is: Attach a single-player game, search for a value (4-byte integer or float), narrow it down with exact / changed / unchanged scans, then write a new value live. Each process gets its own tab, and you can save game profiles.

Requirements: 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. It's a single portable .exe, with no installer, account, or internet connection needed. Some programs block memory access; if Attach fails, try running it as administrator.

Transparency: It's closed source. It runs in user mode only and does not bypass anti-cheat. Please only use it on single-player games and programs you're allowed to modify.

What I'd love feedback on: 1. Was the built-in tutorial enough to get your first value changed? 2. Scan speed and stability on your PC (CPU / thread count helps) 3. Any bugs, crashes, or games where Attach failed 4. Features you'd want next

Download: https://github.com/Bl00dyV/NextScan (Releases page) Reply here or open a GitHub issue. Thanks!

I built a Spaced Repetition Tracker powered by the FSRS-6 algorithm

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share a web app I’ve been working on: Nexus: Spaced Repetition Tracker.

I built this app right here in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 to help students and self-learners optimize their study routines without dealing with overly complicated setups. But this is not limited to locally, Anyone from Anywhere can use this according to their curriculum.

Here are the core features:

FSRS-6 Algorithm: Powered by the cutting-edge Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler (FSRS-6) engine for highly accurate, scientifically optimized review intervals.

Sri Lankan A/L Commerce Syllabus (Optional Download): Local students can instantly download pre-made flashcard decks tailored specifically for the Advanced Level Commerce stream. More Pre builds can be added in the future according to the requests I get.

Cloud Backup: Never lose your progress. Your study history and flashcards sync automatically and securely.

Some Analytics: Visual insight charts to track your daily review streaks, retention rates, and overall learning progress.

Also include more features like study timer, exam paper score tracking, mistake journals, backlog clearance scheduler and more that I can't even remember.

Pleace consider that I'm not a developer or an IT student, I built this as a hobby and with the help of AI coding tools for creating complex areas and suggestions. I want to give the best for the people who use it, for completely free.

It’s completely free to check out, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on the UI, functionality, or any features you think are missing!

Link: https://spaced-repetition-tracker-delta.vercel.app/

Thanks for checking it out!

We built a privacy-first AI data analyst for PostgreSQL — looking for beta testers

Most text-to-SQL tools have the same problem. To use them, you either replicate your data somewhere or send your schema and query results to a third-party LLM API. For a lot of teams (finance, healthcare, anything with compliance requirements), that's a non-starter.

So we built Quenzite, and we’re looking for beta testers.

What is Quenzite

Quenzite is your own virtual Data Analyst platform that helps you deliver quick real-time analytics without circling back to your analysts for actionable results on the go.

What it does

1. Ask questions in plain English. Non-technical people type something like "which customers had declining orders quarter over quarter?" Quenzite writes the multi-join PostgreSQL query, runs it (on your machine), and streams back the result set plus a plain-English explanation.

2. Build dashboards by prompting. Describe the dashboard you want ("sales overview by region with monthly trends and top products") and it builds one from your data. After that you can keep adding widgets two ways: write your own SQL, or just describe the widget in English. Analysts can drop into SQL when they want control, and everyone else can stay in plain language.

How it's different

  • Zero data ingestion: it queries your live Postgres at runtime. Nothing is copied or synced.
  • Read-only: SELECT-only privileges, so it can't mutate or drop anything.
  • No third-party LLM calls: it runs its own LLM on dedicated infrastructure. Your prompts, schema, and results never go to OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.
  • Ask instead of guessing: if a question is ambiguous ("revenue" could mean three different things in your schema), it asks for clarification instead of quietly picking one.

Where it's at
Current scope is descriptive analytics (what happened, and why the numbers look the way they do at the data level), plus the dashboard builder. Root-cause analysis and forecasting are on the roadmap, but I'm not claiming them yet.

Who we are looking for

  • Teams running PostgreSQL with a reasonably normalized, multi-table schema
  • People who regularly field "can you pull this number?" requests from non-technical colleagues
  • Anyone whose security or compliance constraints rule out typical BI and AI tools
  • We are currently looking for about 4-5 people / teams for our first phase of testing

What you get: free access during beta and direct influence on the roadmap

What I need from you: honest feedback on:

  • where the generated SQL is wrong
  • whether the clarification prompts help or annoy
  • whether the auto-generated dashboards are actually useful or need too much rework
  • Overall user experience of the product
  • How it can help you in your day to day life and what value add it brings.

If you're interested, comment or DM us with your use case and we'll get you set up. Happy to answer technical questions in the comments too, including the hard ones about accuracy and edge cases.

Note:- As a fully bootstrapped startup with a small team, we’re mindful of our GPU resources and strive to use them as efficiently and responsibly as possible.

Vene: A day you can finish. A Mac planner that knows when to stop

Most planners fit as much as they can into your day. I built one that plans a day you can finish.

Vene is a Mac planner built on one idea. If you finish your work early, the rest of the day is actually yours.

I’m a student, and I noticed that on days I procrastinated, I spent the whole day half working and half relaxing, then felt super guilty once the sun set. On days I started early and actually finished while it was still light out, I felt great. I realized it was the same amount of work. The difference is you know when you should work, and when you can relax.

Of course, I first tried other apps. The MoSCoW system in Apple Reminders worked for a while, but it was tedious to have to move the dates each time I didn't finish.. FlowSavvy replanned around my life on its own, which I loved, but it packed my days so full that when I saw them, I didn’t even want to start.

So Vene works differently. The night before, you choose what you’ll finish tomorrow, like a promise to yourself. Vene fits it around your calendar, adds breaks, and replans if something comes up. It keeps track of deadlines so you don’t have to.

It’s Mac only for now and works with Apple Reminders and Calendar. Most of my classmates use Google Calendar and Tasks, so I'm planning on adding that next. The scheduling might need some tuning, so please let me know if ever it gets your day wrong.

Price: Free during beta, then $108/yr after. Always free for anyone in education with a .edu email.

On AI: I built Vene with a lot of help from Claude Code. The idea and the design are mine, and I use it every day.
