It always blows my mind when I see a track from a SoundCloud account from 2009-2010; that is only a couple of years after I was born, and it’s interesting to see how music trends have changed gradually over time. I’m wondering what your oldest track on SoundCloud is and how different it sounds from your newer tracks!

A two week old song just got 1k views . Anyone know why this might happen ? It didn’t get reposted

So I just wanna say I’ve been using SoundCloud to post music for almost a year, tracked all my views and likes, when I get them and when stuff kinda slows down. Today I used the amplify option since that’s what I always do after uploading my beats. I uploaded my beat at exactly 7am this morning, got the email saying my song has been processed for the amplify option at 8am and everytime I do this I always get 70 views around this time, I took a break from uploading for about 4 months because of burnout, and I’ve notice that all my progress has died off completely as I would get around 700+ views on each one of mt beats. Now on the subject of today’s upload i have only got 17 views since 2pm, before 2pm I haven’t gotten a single view at all which is super bizarre because everything i have tracked so far says I should be getting at least at the bare minimum 40 views rn and should be going up every half an hour or so. But today is the first time I’ve ever dealt with a beat being this slow in terms of views. Again I love writing down my statistics of each song so I know what everything looks like on day one and now I haven’t even reached my minimum at all yet. Anyone else dealing with this?

I mean It shows mostly specific language. How to bypass it? I want to listen to various languages and stuff.

This might sound dumb but I really want to hear my old stuffs. Problem is I accidentally deleted the tracks a long time ago and the only thing I have left of them are their soundcloud links. I know the chance of hearing them again are pretty much zero but if someone has an idea, lmk!

Hi, has anyone here ever had an artist account suspended without explanation? I was supposed to receive a payment of about 6,000 €, but my account was suspended right at that moment. Has anyone had a similar experience? What can I do? No, I haven’t received any warnings about copyright infringements or anything like that, and I don’t use bots either. Plus, support hasn’t responded in 14 days!

Although SoundCloud is required to provide specific details about the suspension within 7 days, they haven’t done so. Furthermore, it’s not possible to deliver legal correspondence—either by mail or by fax.

Something really terrible seems to be going on here—I’d appreciate any input!

A SoundCloud support specialist contacted me on October 1 asking for more details about my issue. I received that email later and replied on October 4 with a full explanation, track examples, and a screenshot showing the issue.

I also followed up again on October 12, but I still have not received any response.

This is not a new support request. I simply need someone to review the existing ticket #4905086 and confirm that my replies have been received and that the case is still being handled.

It's always interesting when a song starts finding its own audience. Sometimes you create something without knowing exactly who it's going to connect with.

I’m an independent artist and I’ve been locked out of my SoundCloud account since September 5th because of a 2FA issue.

I’ve contacted SoundCloud support multiple times, emailed them 3 times, and even tried reaching out through Twitter/X, but I still haven’t gotten an actual response that resolves the issue.

The frustrating part is that this isn’t some inactive account I don’t care about. I had been consistently releasing music and building the account for over a year. I had around 16k+ total plays in my first year, with one of my songs getting around 6k plays by itself. I was also paying for Artist Pro before this happened.

I recently tried to pay for Artist Pro again and even had a charge attempt for around $30, but I obviously can't properly manage the account when I can't even get past the 2FA login.

At this point I'm stuck because I don't know whether I should keep waiting for support, make a new account, or just treat the old account as a vault/archive. Starting over would suck because I'd be losing the account history, plays, followers, releases, etc.

Has anyone else dealt with being locked out because of 2FA and eventually gotten their account back? If so, how did you actually get SoundCloud support to respond?

I don't want to make a new account unless I absolutely have to. I just want access to the account I've already built.

When you turn on the shuffle, after a certain number of tracks, SoundCloud jus starts scrolling through the tracks in the queue at an incredible speed. The only solution is to restart the shuffle or the application.

This is really annoying, it happens every 5-10 tracks😭😭😭😭

Also, when creating your queue, it works erratically. Some tracks are added to the top of the queue, others are mixed up, or don't play at all, Meanwhile, the player is buggy and you can't skip anything normally.

I really need help.

I have a bug on desktop where if I play through a track or skip through it then it won't allow me to go back to the track again. Pressing the button will simply skip forwards and the track will become greyed out if in a playlist. Refreshing the page fixes all of this.

Is this a bug and is there a fix for it?

The song is inspired by old school regueton and modern house. I combined both aspects and I took over the house beat while my friend did the regueton part. We are used to signing in English but as Mexican artists we wanted to give our native language a try in our music!

Hi everybody! I just dropped my most recent E.P. “Sumerian Light” on Soundcloud. Primarily Black Metal, but also a combination of that, industrial, nu metal, and electronic music, this album is a collection of tracks I had sitting on a cloud that I hadn’t really developed until a couple months ago.

More cohesive and well crafted than my last album from what I’ve been told (for the most part lol) and from what I believe according to my own ears (also, for the most part 😹😹), this album explores a theme of darkness within me and out in the world that I’ve experienced throughout the years, and how it shaped my current outlook, my approach to dealing with some of the massive challenges I’ve been faced with, and my stepping up as an activist and leader to help guide people out of the darkness that has befallen this world.
