I need help with/using Soundcloud Deleted tracks

This might sound dumb but I really want to hear my old stuffs. Problem is I accidentally deleted the tracks a long time ago and the only thing I have left of them are their soundcloud links. I know the chance of hearing them again are pretty much zero but if someone has an idea, lmk!

I organize my music weird. I have a playlist that I fill up to the max (500). Then I’ll start a new one. I only like songs that blow my mind and repost albums. My thought process is when I put my stuff on shuffle I don’t wanna hear stuff from 6 years ago. ANYWAYS- every single playlist that has been filled to 500 are at least 30 songs less. You’ll never be able to hear them again, you won’t remember the details. Honestly it’s one of those things where you just kinda gotta sigh and move on. Sorry dude

Also to add I have deleted my own stuff and when it’s gone it’s gone. I cannot tell you how many garage bands I’ve had wiped as well. You’ll create something new

Preciate it man. Guess I just gotta be careful next time I delete something.

Don't delete it.

Back in highschool, I lost a track that was basically my magnum opus at the time due to something going wrong with backing up my stuff on a drive. Lost a lot of my old tunes due to acidplanet shutting down, as well. It is a massive bummer, indeed

Right? I just remember some having the best melodies I’ve came up with. It’s a shame.

Remake the songs.

That’s the sad part. I wish I could remember how they went.

😫. I am literally in the process of remaking a beat that I lost when my hard drive died. I have to reach into my mind and try to figure out what the hell i did😅. I'm struggling to recreate the drums but close enough will be good enough. I have this theory that the good songs will always come back to me. Search your mind. Think of where you were and what you were using to create during that time period.

That’s a cool way to see it. I hope my brain will remember something eventually. 😅

Did you ever send anyone the actual MP3 or WAV? I’d check those old email or chat attachments, plus old devices and DAW export folders. Someone you sent the file to might still have a copy. SoundCloud says it can’t restore a deleted track: https://help.soundcloud.com/hc/en-us/articles/31560339325723-Delete-a-Track

I never shared my old projects to anyone unfortunately. Though, I do have the broken ipad I make them in. I never bothered to have it fixed actually but I might in the future. Hopefully it still has them jams.

If you get that iPad looked at, tell the repairer preserving the old projects is the priority before agreeing to a factory reset or replacement. Which app did you make them in?

Garageband. The projects are most definitely lost though. But I do have the exports, which is good enough.
