… mostly joro spider webs… all seen on my walk this morning

Location: Southern California, chapparel region about 30min from coast.

This friendly garden spider, lovingly named “Jimmy”, is so very cool. At first, I thought it might be a spiny backed spider, but it resembles the long like a yellow garden spider. Spiny backs didn’t seem to have as long of legs and this guy, but the yellow garden spiders don’t seem to have the spiny backs. I gotta believe it’s a crossover of some kind and appreciate the communities help!

I was able to use a magnifying lens on my phone to get really close and you can see the hair on its abdomen in the last pic.

I got stung on my finger today by this scorpion hiding in some debris.

Apologies for the terrible picture shes just big and skinny spiders freak me out located in Arkansas Im assuming its an orb weaver of some sort but I dont want to try and relocate it if its something that could be dangerous I just want the porch back.

Saw a very cool, very chill spider just now on our property. I'd say the body was about an inch long. Per the iNtERwebS, I'm guessing it's a male trapdoor spider. But I thought I'd ask folks who know.

Anyway, after snapping pics, I left him alone. Thanks!

She is getting so big

i live in the midwest in america, missouri specifically. i just found it crawling on my leg. it doesn’t really look like a recluse to me tho?

I thought it was very interesting as there were two of these, one nestled in almost the exact same location on a husband and wife's gravestone.

Kinda blurry zoomed in. Assuming some sort of huntsman maybe??

It was dead in my yard. The last one exactly like this one, wandered in my direction. It doesn’t match 100% the wandered brazillian spider tho. So I’m trying my luck here. A lot of Wolf-spiders get inside my house, I Usually use a container to pick them and release, I need to know what those guys are, so I know I’m safe to release them with the container or guide them out with the broom. Thank you and sorry about the bad english.

Hello all.

First time here. Do we do IDs?
