WELCOME TO r/TARANTULAS RANT MONDAYS, BECAUSE EVERYTHING SUCKS AND SO DO MONDAYS! COMMENT IN THIS POST ABOUT STUPID SHIT YOU FEEL STRONGLY ABOUT!
ANYTHING RELATING TO TARANTULAS, THE HOBBY, VENDORS, OR THE MOD TEAM. DID SOME GOOF CALL YOUR TARANTULA DISGUSTING? DID A RANDOM PERSON CRY BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T CENSOR A PICTURE OF YOUR SPIDER? DID YOUR FRIENDS SAY SOMETHING BAD ABOUT YOUR COLLECTION? (NO, BECAUSE WE WILL FEED THEM TO OUR TARANTULAS) DID THE MODS DO A DUMB?
NOW’S YOUR TIME TO BITCH AND RAGE RANT ABOUT IT. REMEMBER TO POST IN ALL CAPS SO THAT WE KNOW HOW PISSED OFF YOU ARE ON r/TARANTULAS F***KING RANT MONDAY!
AND REMEMBER! DON’T BE A HUGE ASSHOLE! Thanks.

Ive never seen such a dark color on the carapace before. I dont think sexual dimorphism is a thing tho, right?

I suspect Pinky is preparing a spot to molt. A few months in this enclosure and I’ve never seen this spider dig or do any renovations. Normally hangs out on top of the log they are currently digging under. They have dragged a leaf to the middle of the floor and started digging out from under their “stage” as I call it. Made me super happy to catch a few videos of a new behavior.

Peach and I had a tough start. She didn't eat for over a month when I first got her and she seemed very displeased with her new home, but since adding a new cork round she has finally gotten comfrotable and developed a voracious appetite. This is her 2nd meal worm in a week and she was so excited about it, she came out to do a little dance on top of her house.

This pain in my arse gave me quite the adrenaline rush during this rehouse. Tried its best to avoid the catch cup and almost got away from me, but in the end I was successful and once inside the new digs, it just strolled around like “Oh this is niiice” lol

Hey all, this is Clancy my mature male Davus pentaloris that Ive had 2 ½ years. He eats 3-4 appropriate sized bugs a week but his abdomen has been so small ever since his last molt. Is this normal? I know males don't live as long, but he used to be so plump.

Rehomed yesterday, hasnt built any webs or burrowed whatsoever. See them in different spots every now and then but bro hasnt done anything. Im worried, chilobrachys dyscolus so no its not a terrestial. Has about 8 inches of burrowing space even tho i know hes not big enough for that yet its what im planning on letting him grow out in.
