r/spiderbro is a place to celebrate the companionship between spiders and people. Frequent identification requests undermine this core purpose by turning r/spiderbro into a utility that other subs are better suited for ( r/spiders , r/whatsthisbug , r/bugidentification )

I posted this in a couple different communities and so it wouldn't let me cross post to you. But I need help in the best way to relocate the most beautiful perfect terrifying thing on the planet that's absolutely perfect and gorgeous. I'm a recovering arachnophobic and I have the ultimate respect for you you are amazing. I've gotten way better over the years and long story short I've had a little roommate if I named you know and interacted with and everything's cool to help me get over my fear and he was a little brown widow in my room. Will I get my RV and I go to leave work and there's the most perfect shiny gorgeous beautiful f\\terrifying gorgeous beautiful spider right by my sun visor. Her total size is about the size of a golf ball her abdomen alone is as big if not bigger than a quarter. She's so stunning and breathtaking I can't even describe the picture doesn't do her justice she doesn't have anything wrong with her she's not a scratch not nothing she's gorgeous. I do not want to hurt her but I need to evict her. I need you a Victor because I it's overwhelmingly too much for me. But if I injured her on accident I would never forgive myself cuz she is one of the most beautiful things I've ever laid eyes on. Can you help me with some suggestions? The pictures don't do her justice but I could really use your help my friend. You're such a an amazing person with spiders and I respect that ultimately I'm the same way with wildlife I interact and I'm able to do things that most people cannot cuz I have the ultimate comfort with them and I seem to be able to connect and communicate like you do with spiders. I don't speak spider language LOL I want you to know I've been really trying all these years to get over my fear I had a bad experience a few times as a youngster and ever since then I've tried really hard cuz I have such love for wildlife. So if you have suggestions please reach out to me or anyone in this page or group I so appreciate it the sooner the better. I was going to try to do a Shrek thing and gently put her outside but if I'm afraid if she starts moving I'm going to freak out and drop her I can't do a jar because there's no f\\in hell I'm going to get that close to her. Anyway please give me some suggestions I have to evict her and a few others it's getting to be too much because I'm having a hard time sleeping just knowing that that gorgeous beautiful perfect shiny like glass spider is in my comfort zone. It's funny I know she's not going to go out and hurt me but I do have cats and if they recognize her I'm worried that they might get bit and I know that might be an issue for cats I just need your help I hope I kind of gave an inkling of my situation that you hopefully understand. And I'm reaching out to you cuz I'm so I have the ultimate respect for you. Thank you so much :-)

A male False Button spider - Steatoda sp.
I found it in Lâm Đồng, Việt Nam, 2026.
It looks like a true button spider, but as far as I know, false button spiders have much milder venom. Their bites are said to be similar to a wasp sting.
