Question Period late

Guys so my periods have always been super regular and i use flo app to track them. But lately since the last 2-3 months my periods have been 1-3 days late.. obviously gives me false hopes and i do a million tests only for them all to come up negative and then i get my period 3 days late. Is that normal or happened to any of you??

A late period and no pregnancy means you’re ovulating later than you think. This is totally normal. The app can only estimate ovulation. If it keeps happening I’d either have sex over a longer window of time (if you can!) or use ovulation tests.

Like the other commentator said, I would assume that your ovulating a little later than you may be thinking. I would get some ovulation tests, from personal experience avoid the Walgreens brand. And if it’s your first time using ovulation tests, I personally would get the cheap sticks, easy at home and download the free app Premom as it can save photos of your progression. That has always been really helpful for me as they also help analyze your surges. But heads up that it can add a new layer of anxiety and overthinking things as I have found.
