How are you tracking?

Oura ring and temping plus no periods

no period is not a true sign of no ovulation! If you can wean more I would recommend that.

Sometimes you have to wean completely to ovulate again. I know it’s expensive but inito can be helpful to track especially if you’re still getting up at night. Good luck!

Is that true? I keep reading that once you aren’t feeding in the night ovulation should return so I was getting really worried

I night weaned and ovulated, got my period, but my luteal phase is too short to support implantation. Luteal phase should be 10 days at least for a real chance. So for me, I have to wean completely to get pregnant. Every body is different, so you never know what your case might be.

Same here. My luteal phase was like 8-9 days when breastfeeding even just 5-10 mins a day. Got pregnant 3ish months after weaning

A lot of people do have to wean completely it isn’t uncommon.

My first baby slept 12 hours straight from 3 months old and I still didn’t get my period back til after I fully weaned her at 18 months. LP was short but quickly lengthened and I conceived on cycle 3 or 4.

I know it’s frustrating. I got my period and cycles back at 3 months PP after both my 1st and 2nd babies but then it was 22 months after my 3rd and then took even longer for it to regulate and for me to conceive again… I pretty much had to wean. After my 4th, I didn’t get it back again until 22 months.

I’m 16 months pp and not ovulating. Still bf for like ten mins overnight only. Trying to wean off completely. Wish me luck and good luck to you too. I hope we both get pregnant soon

Even breastfeeding once a day for comfort seems enough to suppress ovulation for me. Both times I fully weaned, bam, period 1 month later. Conceived #2 on that first cycle after kid #1. Now trying for #3.

Unfortunately the answer is almost always to wean. I didn't ovulate until 18 months after my first and 15 months after my second, and only once we dropped to about one feed a day. Even then, my luteal phase wasn't long enough to conceive and I've had to wean completely to TTC again. I was pretty heartbroken both times but hopefully it's worth it.
