You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.

Exactly. Got some real rookies in the comments. Honestly tho it’s a Steeler game day and he’s off tomorrow so people can suck it.

i love how supportive you are 😭

assuming he doesn’t do this regularly it’s nice to have a partner who’s comfortable with letting loose every once in a while!

in the words of Bun B “I handle my business so I think I deserve to get throwed”

That was Z-Ro, not Bun B

Southern Dallas here, but South TX go hard when it comes to music.

Corpus to DFW area. South Texas has some straight bangers. Not just in rap, but across a lot of music genres. I love the song Texas blood money by Upon a Burning Body but that's only for those who like Death style metal. Keep tipping dawg.

ik where it originally came from but i wouldn’t think most people would know who that is so i chose the most popular song sampling it

i grew up on the screw tapes and heavily inspired by the culture living in south Texas. back in the 2000’s they used to play CNS on the radio
my dad has a few of the OG tapes they were selling out of Houston. i was just trying make it make sense to the people who aren’t from around here

You can't be older than 15.

Or, I just vehemently hate alcohol because I've personally witnessed it ruin the lives of multiple of my loved ones, and don't think there's any "WOW BASED WIFE SO COOL" about enabling loved ones to drink??

My father nearly died of cirrhosis of the liver about a year ago, and guess what, 30 years ago my mother was "the cool wife who didn't mind him drinking at 10:30 on a sunday" too

I've lost two aunts to alcohol and have one cousin currently dying from cirrhosis too

Fuck alcohol and anyone who thinks it's cool to let a loved one even start drinking. This is just as bad as the weird recent trend of Redditors trying to pretend gambling is cool and encouraging gambling

u/Capable-Swimming-887 1d ago

I'm sorry for what you've been through, but that doesn't mean alcohol, certain recreational drugs, and/or gambling are the devil. Yes, people can and will get addicted, but it doesn't mean everyone will. Many enjoy in moderation

My point is more that the risk is not worth condoning at all. From the studies I've seen, about 20% of drinkers are alcoholics and another 30-35% are at high risk, all for literally no reward

Imagine if you saw people going

"I love shooting apples off my kids head, it's my favorite hobby"

Bro that's not cool, wtf

"Don't worry, I'm a good shot, there's only a 20-30% chance I'll miss and hit them"

No dude wtf, that has ZERO benefit or upsides and way too high of a risk of ruining lives

"yeah but it's kind of fun"

The risks of alcohol, drugs, and gambling are quite literally ruining your own life and the lives of people around you too

The benefits are . . . . quite literally nothing. Nada. Zip. Not one single benefit

I would gladly remove every single other persons ability to indulge in such vices if it meant I could save the future victims

I disagree but I appreciate your honesty. You're very passionate about your opinion. Thank you for sharing

Not one benefit? My man some of us like to chill.

-2

u/YobaiYamete 1d ago

Some of us (most of us?) can "chill" without needing a potentially life ruining substance.

u/Overall-Grape5396 15h ago

You’re really annoying lol your experience doesn’t dictate other peoples lives

Sounds like you could use a drink

1

u/YobaiYamete 1d ago

Nope I'm good

u/Automatic-Camp-4979 1d ago

Mood as fuck even tho we won, for once I’m not drinking to forget my team is mediocre and I’m drinking to celebrate the W

11

u/blarrrrrgggg 1d ago

Yeah there’s a lot I could say about our team. Watt is def a douche. I don’t care about his numbers and even with those numbers his $$ contract is ridiculous. We need a QB. I have no faith in Rodger’s and I’m shocked he even got another year. But hey…a win is a win!!

2

u/StrictBoat2349 1d ago

I don't know why they paid Watt all that money without having a franchise QB on roster 😕

1

u/walkerchar223 13h ago

Because Watt is easily a top 5 defender in the league…Do you watch football? Superstars don’t grow on trees. This is coming from a Bengals fan…lol

1

u/StrictBoat2349 13h ago

Top 5 with 10 sacks all last year?

1

u/CoachellaChris 11h ago

He’s averaging one per game this year and has the defensive TD that won the game wk1. If you don’t want to pressure the QB at all then yes Watt is expendable.

1

u/StrictBoat2349 8h ago

He didn't record a defensive stat against the colts , in the last 3 years he has multiple Mia games

1

u/Status-Operation-621 9h ago

Idk how rogers keeps getting signed to different teams, i remember when the Steelers, Patriots n (i think packers) were the "it" teams n on top of their game 🥲

1

u/chancperception1037 1d ago

I cant believe that anyone wants Aaron Rodgers. He's always been so mid when talking about quarterbacks.

2

u/DanyDragonQueen 1d ago

Always been mid?? Cmon man be serious

-2

u/chancperception1037 1d ago

Okay ill be serious, i dont think Aaron Rodgers is even in the discussion when it comes to talking about great quarterbacks. He is purely overshadowed by most everyone else.

2

u/Cautious-Nail-7366 17h ago

Good thing no one is paying you to think, we’d be screwed!

-1

u/chancperception1037 17h ago

And we are still in a better position than any team Aaron Rodgers has been on thus far.

2

u/Burntoutn3rd 9h ago

Lmao, early Rodgers wasn't a great quarterback? He easily picked up Favre's role and kept the same momentum, including 4 MVP awards.

Hands down one of the best quarterbacks in the 21st century game and to say otherwise is delusional, lol.

Just because he's a post-prime nut job these days doesn't change his earlier athletic career.

-1

u/chancperception1037 6h ago

Hands down one of the best of the 21st?? Bro doesn't hold a candle to any of the actual good quarterbacks. Brady, the mannings, Roethlisberger. Sure he picked up where Favre left off, interceptions and not getting rings.

1

u/DanyDragonQueen 2h ago

Bro must be a bitter Bears fan because this is just delusional

1

u/chancperception1037 2h ago

Oh do tell me how Aaron Rodgers is so great. Compare him to any of the mannings. How many super bowl rings does he have?

1

u/DanyDragonQueen 2h ago

I was right huh

1

u/chancperception1037 2h ago

Nope not a bears fan. Guess again smartass :)

Hey, at my age, day drinking is the only way to go

Start early on a day off, avoids all heartburn n tummy issues trying to sleep at night drunk

5

u/SluttyMuffler 1d ago

People will find a way to make sure youre wrong and they are right, even without context. You're a great wife, keep it up!

1

u/Shoddy_Statement_772 1d ago

Is he off because of Stat?

1

u/StrictBoat2349 1d ago

Rodgers looked good today

-1

u/tuppsware 1d ago

W alcoholic cope

1

u/chancperception1037 1d ago

Just because you cannot handle alcohol does not mean someone else is an alcoholic.

1

u/tuppsware 1d ago

the post literally says drunk at 10 am. you had to make up something about me just to argue with it lmao

2

u/chancperception1037 1d ago

Oh and being drunk at 10am makes someone an alcoholic? Do you get to be the one who decides that?? What if this is the first time they have been like this? Take your self righteous ass elsewhere and go judge others

1

u/ShortMental7 1d ago

obviously they've never watched an important NFL game at 4am

0

u/JoeyRyansPenis 1d ago

triggered and looking for any excuse on earth to argue. cope harder with your self hatred fam

-1

u/chancperception1037 1d ago

Lmao what self hatred? Oh are you the reddit police here to tell anyone how they are supposed to act? Cope harder with being terminally online and having next to no life :)

1

u/LizardMilkDealer 1d ago

Lets go Steelers!!!
