For years I wanna to download all my music collection to my iPhone. But AIMP is not available in the App Store. So...maybe there is alternative, which can work with folders like AIMP?

It goes without saying: it won’t fix all typos but will DRASTICALLY reduce the amount. If you’re like me rapid typing, fingers first brain second, then you’ll see a major improvement.

On webpages if I return to a page instead of returning to where I was, it keeps scrolling up, which makes some webpages unreadable. I also notice that when I listen to podcasts the podcast will rewind several minutes instead of starting where I left off. For some reason also my timer defaults to 45 minutes which requires a lot of scrolling for me to use because I mostly use my phone's timer as a tea timer and basically never set it for 45 minutes. What is going on? How do I fix these things?

as stated in preview — can’t stand Preview — it feels like it wants to be a file explorer — pulls you aaway from “Files” and it doesn’t show images within the folder it opened up so you gotta go back to Files … like what am doing wrong here

I have an image I want to send to multiple recipients, but want the message to be sent to each one separately so I’m not sharing everyone’s phone numbers with each other. I don’t want to go thru the hassle of having to go into setting and turn off group messaging each time and then remember to turn it back on.

Is something like this possible with a shortcut?

Universal clipboard from iPhone (17 Pro) to MacBook (Pro M4) keeps breaking and simply refuses to work. The other way around is just fine.

I have to always restart the phone to make it work and that lasts for like two days before it breaks again.

I am not sure why this is happening because I am on the same network and no DNS is involved, and tbh, this shouldn't matter really. Universal Clipboard doesn't even use that afaik.

I have tried turning off Hand-off on and off but that doesn't help. Only a restart of the phone makes it work.

Is there a solution to this? I never had this problem before iOS27. Even the betas worked just fine. This and the shitty battery life, I am really disliking iOS 27.

I have over 10 Gb of free storage left on my phone but I keep getting notifications that my storage is full. Any clue as to why that might be happening?

I’m trying to message someone I have before and it’s saying encryption and my messages won’t send through. He says his bubbles are green for me and I’m only having this issue with him and nobody else and he is onto having this issue messaging me as well. does anyone know how to fix? I can only message him via sms.

I'm using a 17PM on iOS 27.0.1. I'm connected to a 2013 Ford with SYNC via Bluetooth connection (too poor for a CarPlay car 😔). I use Google Maps for navigation.

I'm running into two issues relating to calls that are throwing me off:

- While navigating, if I receive and accept a phone call, the phone call screen comes to the foreground. I have to manually switch back to Google maps, sometimes unlocking the phone as well, whilst driving which is not ideal

- If I finish my journey whilst still on a phone call and switch the car off, the phone disconnects from the car Bluetooth and switches to the speaker / AirPods - but I am then unable to lock the phone. I will put it in my pocket and walk up to my building and the screen will not sleep or lock even if I press the lock button.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced (and fixed) this, or if this is standard behaviour? Thanks!

Just set up new 18 pro and see that photos is using 23g as opposed to 16 on my air.

Any reason for this? Same library same about photos.

So every since I updated my phone to IOS 26 its gone to shit, I have a 12pm and this morning while I was looking at my phone all my recent messages of THREE YEARS disappeared aswell as all the groupchats I was in, please help I tried all the solutions online.

I don't find Siri to be able to keep conversation. I am finding the reliability to vary depending on the day. Today, I tried several times to speak with it in a conversational flow, but it just shut down and didn't record what it said in the Siri app. One thing I said that it did respond to didn't appear in the Siri app for some reason. But when it fails and doesn't show up in the Siri app, there's no way to rate Siri. I've never had the thumbs up or down appear in the Siri window even when I scroll. I'm not using a beta, and perhaps that's beta only. I'm in the US. Depending on the day, it'll be hard to activate. I don't like my Alexa devices because I don't find them that helpful except for a few tasks, but Alexa is always able to activate unlike Siri, and usually Alexa doesn't freeze up or whatever Siri does in the middle of a conversation. I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max.

I have tried the various Accessibility features: asking Siri for more time after a pause is one of the options, and listening for atypical speech is another. I don't find these help much. I feel the Apple network gets overwhelmed despite Siri supposedly being on-device (I realize it has to determine how to route something and so that's complex). I have re-trained my voice to Siri.

I keep getting this same popup on a lot of websites. This one is on yahoo finance. But when I’m just searching for info on random things I see this a lot. Forum websites will do it too. If I click cancel. It reloads and goes into a loop. If I click ok it try’s to goto a website called error-report.com. I’m gonna guess that website is some kinda bug for Apple. Why it keeps trying to reload tho I don’t know. Since the page does load correctly as far as I can tell. It does this on Verizon or my att fiber connection. I saw it once or twice on my 16PM I believe but I got the 18PM shortly after release.

Any ideas for this would be great. It does seem that the pages not loading thing is finally fixed tho. So I guess that’s good. This problem isn’t quite as bad.

Whenever I am using front camera in face time I will see mostly my preview and not my friends. I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to fix it. I’d like to see my pov in a small box only and then my friend take most of the space. Someone suggested to change prominence but that doesn’t do anything either.

So while browsing casually through the settings I accidentally stumbled upon accessibility > touch > prefer single touch action.
For those who don’t know what this setting does:
It solves one of the og problem of ios - declining a call.
I switched from android to ios and one of the things that i missed the most was declining the call whenever i wanted whether my device was locked or unlocked.
But there wasn’t such an option until now.
Just turn on this “prefer single touch” and see the magic.
You will have a caller screen with both accept and reject call buttons and it doesn’t matter if your device is locked or unlocked.

& tell me honestly did you knew about this setting before?

I'm a first-time iPhone user, currently using an iPhone 17, and I'm finding one thing particularly frustrating.

I download a lot of files from the internet, and whenever I start downloading something, it seems to stop or pause when I switch to another app. I have to stay on the same screen and keep the download page open until the download finishes, which is really inconvenient.

On Android, I could start a download, switch to other apps, lock my phone, and let the download continue in the background.

Is there any way to achieve the same thing on iPhone? Are there any settings I need to change, alternative browsers, or download manager apps that support reliable background downloads?

I'd appreciate any tips or workarounds from experienced iPhone users. Thanks!

Yes it has a physical switch but it requires two hands most of the time unless I have something to lean my phone on. I’ve been using the back tap feature to toggle it so there’s no issues with the software toggling a function that a physical switch does (muting it with the switch does nothing if it’s already muted), so what’s the reason it was omitted? I’m just curious. I just dropped my phone while doing the back tap one-handed (skill issue) and cracked the screen protector lol

I recently installed the Trusted House Sitters app and have engaged with that community on Reddit. People abbreviate the platform’s name — initialism (tee aitch, ess) — maybe I have once or twice. Now maybe a quarter of the time I try to type “thanks” on my phone it autocorrects it to the initialism before I’m even done typing. I must be hitting space instead of N so it swaps “tha” for the initialism. Any good way to stop this? I’ve even reset my keyboard!

Does iOS ask apps for their “short names” and add them to the autocorrect dictionary?
