If you read this, please talk to someone before doing something that can't be undone.

After reading about RJs death, I teared up, I couldn't believe it. We really need to watch out for each other more. Please talk to someone. Try opening up. At least try fighting your demons. You owe this to yourself. There are several hotlines you can reach out to if you don't feel like talking to someone you know. It's gonna get better. I promisse.

Absolutely tragic.

Seeing what RJ's done, acting despite His disability and even incorporating it into it, Him being an advocate for disabled people and a philanthropist, and how saddened the cast seem after His passing, he must've been just as kind and awesome as I imagined Him to be. Of all the cast, I never once imagined He'd leave so soon.
I feel like a reddit post isn't exactly the best place to write this, but my condolences to his family, and to those who worked with Him or knew Him. It's a tragedy He went so soon. I don't know if the suicide part is true as well, but either way, at least from the outside, it looked like He had a lot of things ahead of Him, it's really sad that He went before His marriage too. May He rest in peace.

One of my favorite scenes in any show is the clothing store scene when those kids make fun of Walt Jr.

That one scene told us so much about each character, but especially Walt. Many would have just ignored it, but not Walt. And Walt Jr played his role to perfection - perhaps sadly because he had experienced it in real life. What a scene!

R.I.P. RJ Mitte, watching BB will never be the same knowing what happened to you. From what we know, it seems he committed suicide... Completely unexpected, he seemed so happy, he even got married. I can't believe it, i had seen him speaking on a podcast a few hours before.

Suicide Awareness Resources

I wanted to share a few resources that might help someone who is struggling or knows someone who is.
Sometimes people are going through things we know nothing about. You never know what someone is dealing with behind closed doors, and sometimes just knowing where to turn can make a difference.

A few resources worth saving:
988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: Call or text 988

Crisis Text Line: Text HOME to 741741

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention: https://afsp.org/

988 Lifeline Chat: https://988lifeline.org/

You don’t have to know the right thing to say to check on someone. Sometimes just asking how they’re really doing and taking the time to listen is a good place to start.

Sharing this in case it helps someone who needs it, even if they aren’t ready to ask for help themselves.

RJ Mitte

I just found out about everything with RJ Mitte and I'm truly speechless. The last few months have been my first time watching Breaking Bad and just a couple hours ago i was watching S04E11. When I got to that moment where Walt Jr. was at Walt's house, when he was talking to him about his father and all that, yk i really underestimated the character until that scene, as he told him that at least when he saw him crying he was being "real," even though that wasn't really the case. I knew nothing about the actor's life, but he definitely did a good job, an awesome job, and should be remembered for that.

You Can Tell Any 3 Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul Characters the Truth. Who Do You Choose to Change the Story?

Post image
53 Upvotes

Is there a particular way you wish Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul had played out differently?

Imagine you could bring any three characters from either show into a room and tell them anything you know. Your goal is to change how the story unfolds.

Which three characters would you choose, when would you bring them together, and what would you tell them?

Rules:

  1. Same point in time: All three characters must be taken from within the same one-week period. For example, you can't bring together Walt from 2004 and Mike from 2005. The characters don't need to have met or even know each other.
  2. Everyone hears everything: Whatever information you share must be stated in front of all three characters. You cannot speak to any of them privately.
  3. No lying: Everything you say must be truthful. You can leave out certain details, but the characters are free to question you about them.

How would you change the BCS/BB universe?

RiP RJ Mitte

(Sorry if this looks like a spam post)

RiP RJ Mitte. Honestly, I never watched the show myself but it's horrible. He was so young, an advocate for disability rights, great actor but most importantly, a son and great friend to many. It was the least of what I expected to hear.

It's so shocking and we may not know why, but we can't forget.

My thoughts and prayers go to his family for this loss because he cannot and will not be replaced.

Rest in Peace, RJ, and thank you.

RIP RJ Mitte

Hearing the news today broke my heart. I will never forget the entertainment this man has brought me and for helping make one of my favorite television shows a reality.

As a young man battling depression amongst other problems, this one is affecting me in a way many other celebrity deaths usually don't. He had so much life left to live and genuinely seemed like a really decent down to earth guy.

I just wanted to make this post to honor RJ and create an opportunity to celebrate his life. Also, if anybody has stories or memories with him, I'd love to hear

Rest easy friend 🧡

first episode I could relate to him so much. He reminded me of my own parent’s divorce.

The untarnished innocence where you’re just trying to keep the peace between your parents. And yet you’re the one getting caught in the crossfire.

From the very first episode I wished I had a friend like him.

What a shit way to start the day. I’m going back to sleep.

I love you man.

Stay safe guys ❤️

you will always be remembered by those who were able to know and love you, wether it be in person or through a screen. i'm truly sorry that you felt that there wasn't any other way, you were such a bright soul with so much ahead of you. you advocated for people with disabilities so much, and you wont EVER be forgotten. if only you knew how loved you were. everyone, check on your friends, remind them that they aren't alone, because the feeling of loneliness can drive someone so far.

About 11 years ago, RJ Visited my country for a speaking tour. Had literally seen the even randomly on Facebook the night before and decided to go along - it was free too! It was a great night and RJ talked about his upbringing, importance of family and he was incredibly passionate for disability representation. Of course some cool Breaking Bad behind the scenes! After the event, he met every single person and took photos, listened and was genuinely invested in every interaction. I remember telling him he really inspired me that night (which he did and him being really taken aback and grateful for that. So saddened to hear a life cut so short and I had no idea he was struggling. I hope and pray he's at peace and I'm thinking of his family, friends and co stars. You were a real one RJ 🙏

If you're over at someone's house, do you take a dump in their ensuite bathroom?

In the episode "Blood Money" when Hank sees the inscription from Gale to Walt in the book, Hank is just casually taking a dump in Walt and Skyler's ensuite bathroom. Is this. Normal or would you, as a guest, only use the shared bathroom that most houses would have and not a couple's private one? Pretty brave move by Hank if you ask me

Irony of both Walt and Mike in this conversation scene Spoiler

Post image
12 Upvotes

In Season 5, Episode 2, Walt tried to pull Mike back into the game, Mike refuses.

Walt uses the argument "to leave emotion out of this decision." It's ironic because almost every decision walt made is entirely of emotion

And then Mike pointed out that Walt is indeed emotional and full of trouble. He called Walt a time bomb that was tick-tick-ticking. Mike literally said "I have no intention of being around for the boom.

Ironic, yet too bad, that Mike actually stayed around for the boom by joining the game, literally suffered the boom when Walt shot him by surprise, exactly a boom-level catastrophe. Not-so-full measure of Mike, is it?
