General Question Do you donate to Wikipedia?

I do, I donated one time a couple years ago, then I was looking something up tonight and I got the request. I donated like $3 and I decided to do the monthly donation, just $1.75 I think.

No because I’m not a sucker.

Wikipedia has over $250M in cash reserves, and it costs only $3M a year to run the site (and could be run for much less). Users provide all of the content, and see none of those donations.

Wikipedia has enough cash to run the site for over 100 years. Doesn’t that make you wonder why they keep asking for money and where it’s actually going?
