In general, charging back a transaction for an online service or product typically is going to result in one of two things.
Most commonly you just get your account banned from the service. Chargebacks are a last resort nuclear option because to get to that point the company disagrees completely with you and refuses to refund you, yet you still claw back the money.
Some companies will just ban and forgive the amount owed. But many won’t. Chargeback is simply clawing your money back, it doesn’t legally mean you don’t owe the company. Uber is a horrendous company but simply charging back doesn’t mean you don’t owe uber still…
You either pay that, make a new account, or stop using Uber…
Side note on chargebacks, everyone values money differently but chargebacks really should be an ultimate last resort. You get limited chargebacks per year but more importantly CC companies look poorly on them and if you do too many they view you as a risky poor customer and can drop you.
I actually never do them. Uber can go fuck themselves tho if they think I’m going to pay for something I never received. That’s not how a transaction works. Payment is for services rendered. I never got my order.
