I've been saying since 2023 that Jaylen Warren should be RB1, I'm glad that he's been catching fire lately, it feels good to be vindicated.

Injuries — first at running back, and more recently at wide receiver — have forced the Steelers to adapt. In the process, they might have stumbled upon a winning identity.
What was supposed to be a potent one-two punch has turned into The Warren Show, as Rico Dowdle’s three-game injury absence has given Warren the first opportunity of his career to prove what he can do as a lead back. In the three full games without Dowdle, Warren has posted 490 yards from scrimmage. The 80-yard catch-and-run showed Warren’s speed, and the 50-yard touchdown run displayed his ability to find holes between the tackles.
Maybe even more telling: Late in the game on fourth-and-short, the Steelers trusted their offensive line and Warren to pick up the key first down. They did, and then Rodgers found Pat Freiermuth for what was essentially the game-sealing TD.
“Whenever my name’s called, I’ve gotta seize the moment,” Warren said.
Warren’s impact alone is significant. The ripple effect is just as critical.

The last three Steelers head coaches had a "defining" rival, so who do yinz think it will be for Mike McCarthy?
Chuck Noll, Browns. Noll was from Cleveland and played for the Browns under Paul Brown. Additionally, the rivalry was already well underway before he came over. The Oilers were a small honorable mention, but mostly when Bum Phillips and especially Jerry Glanville were there. The Bengals he was indifferent about, despite going up against his old coach those first few years.
Bill Cowher, Bengals. Cowher always praised the Browns since he played & coached for them but this was also when matchups against them were becoming additional "bye weeks" for us, and lets not forget we didn't even play them for three years. Meanwhile, he had a personal vendetta against the Bengals for passing him up in favor of Dave Shula, and he responded by having the most wins against any team being when he played Cincinnati. Of course, after the Modell move the Ravens were heating up but that can be attributed to personal hatred towards Brian Billick. Honorable mention goes to the Jaguars, as he also hated Tom Coughlin. The Oilers/Titans he was indifferent about due to being friends with Jeff Fisher.
Mike Tomlin, Ravens. The Ravens were full steam by the time Tomlin arrived, and his personal rivalry with John Harbaugh was always entertaining but filled with respect. A lot of hostility towards the Bengals but more towards the players than anything personal like Cowher. Indifferent towards the Browns.
Mike McCarthy, TBD. We'll see after the first Ravens Week how this one may turn out.

I’ve been frustrated with DK like everybody else, but today showed why the front office went and swapped DK with Pickens. Still doesn’t excuse his lack of separation and drops, but opening up TD’s like the one Warren got shows why he’s valuable and why his teammates like Aaron and others have his back even though he’s not putting up big numbers.

Muthy. Ohhhh Muthy. You probably watched Gr*nk do unspeakable things to us when you were growing up in massachusettes, but when you balled out at Penn St… I cannot lie I become a fan. You didnt choose Pitt U, but watching you bully ohio state & west virginia, then being drafted to the Steelers… it made you feel like a hometown hero to me. Hearing Mccarthy say he sees pro bowls in your future.. i sure hope so. I miss the days of Heeeeeeeaaaaaaaath. But you help fill the space in my black & gold heart. LFG 88 🖤💛

The GERM. This man steps up when he is called upon. Is he insanely fast? Not really. Powerful presence? Well.......no. Does he always catch everything? Also no, but close. Does he always have fight and hustle and effort? Even when running in to our best offensive player Jaylen Warren? Hell yeah.

As much as we want to hate on Aaron, he's on pace for a good season. He's not MVP Rodgers anymore, but he's having our best QB season since Ben in 2018, maybe 2020. Aaron is on pace for 4195 yards, 34TDs and 10INTs. He'll be 43, and has limited weapons, and a line that's sometimes good and sometimes not. Jaylen Warren is on pace for 1394 yards rushing, 782 yards receiving, and 6 total TDs. One of the most underrated backs in the league. DK is only on pace for 765 yards, that's concerning. Muth, Roman, Washington, and Bernard are all on pace for 500ish yards each, also concerning. It's only 5 games, I understand. Things can, and will change. For the first time in what feels like forever, the offense isn't a major issue. Concerning at times, but still capable of winning games

I haven’t seen a player enrage Browns fans like him. I have seen so many Browns tears on Twitter about one specific player that isn’t on their team, and I find it hilarious. They hate players playing football hard and it would warm my heart to see Minkah blast their players in the black and gold again so their fans can continue to whine and cry.
