What occurred in this video whether with the company's knowledge or without it is unacceptable and appalling.

What if these words had been directed at the events of 9/11? Would the American public have accepted that?

How could such a clip appear right when hundreds of innocent people were being killed and injured at Riyadh Airport?

If this footage was recorded without the company's knowledge, it must hold this moron @PlatinumMax accountable as his actions will impact the company's relationships with various international entities including Arab once.

Romans immersion killing staring at the ref during false finishes is up there (he is far from the only offender here though) and inspired this. Any nitpicks you have been holding onto?

I am interested to hear if members of this sub have noticed or felt the impact of WWE no longer showing the 2-3 minute storyline recaps before each match airs on a PLE.

If you go back to any PLE from 5, 10, or 20 years ago, you can watch it with no context or firsthand recollection and there is almost always a reliable video package to bring a viewer up to speed on the relevance of the match or the feud.

I realize they are moving a lot of this content to their agonizingly long pre-shows, presumably so they can sell more ad time during the live show. To me, this feels like a miscalculated tradeoff; I'm sure I'm not the only person who no longer watches all their weekly programming and now really only focuses on the PLEs. Without these recaps my investment in the individual matches and the overall show is steadily declining; but I also think it is reducing the rewatch value of these shows down the road (years from now).

EDIT: I'm pleasantly surprised to see I'm not the only one; at the risk of seeming overly-activist, I would encourage other fans who miss these to mention them in the post PLE surveys that WWE sends out via email.

For anyone in Mexico - Ecatepec doesn't get that many positive headlines.

Ecatepec’s municipal sports institute posted this. For a place so often reduced to stories of crime and poverty, seeing one of its own celebrated worldwide means something.

That first comment is hilarious though.

After tonight, it seems pretty obvious that Wrestle Kingdom 21 is being built up to be THE big blowoff show for all the AEW vs NJPW rivalries that have been going on in the background throughout 2026. Almost every top wrestler and top title is entangled with an AEW guy in some way.

We’ve got:
- Jon Moxley challenging Shingo Takagi for a future match at an unknown time
- MJF challenging Ryohei Oiwa for a future match with his “Real” AEW Championship on the line
- Gabe Kidd still holding the IWGP Global Championship hostage
- The Knock-Out Brothers teasing in interviews that they want to face an AEW tag team soon (possibly Cope & Cage)
- The looming tension between Will Ospreay and Callum Newman, which looks like it might finally come to a head at Power Struggle after they challenge for the tag team championships
- and the big one that just happened to end the show, KENNY OMEGA returning to NJPW to challenge Yota Tsuji, first facing him and Oleg Boltin in a 3-way at Power Struggle. It is highly unlikely that the Omega story doesn’t carry over to Wrestle Kingdom as well.

Now I’ve been one of the NJPW fans that’s been a very vocal critic of the relationship with AEW. I do think that it has provided a pipeline, intentional or not, for top stars to jump ship at inopportune times. I also think that bringing AEW wrestlers to come in as part timers and win titles such as Omega winning the US Championship or Moxley winning the IWGP Championship has distracted NJPW from building up new stars of their own in this rebuilding period after they lost so many main eventers.

THAT BEING SAID, I actually think this is a GREAT idea for Wrestle Kingdom 21. Like it or not, NJPW has actually been very successful as getting this anti-AEW sentiment over with the crowd lately. They cheer like crazy whenever Tsuji talks about defending Japan’s honor and refusing to defend the title in America, and they’ve done the same thing when guys like Shota Umino or Yuto-ice have said similar things in recent promos. They’ve spent the entire year actually building to something big for once, and it makes way more sense to use all of that momentum to build to a big event-wide theme for Wrestle Kingdom that will (likely) see a lot of big wins over big stars for NJPW’s new generation.

A big difference between what’s happening now and what’s been happening for the last 4 or 5 years is that NJPW HAS been putting the work into getting their next generation of guys over. They’re finally getting somewhere with Umino and Uemura. The KOB are the hottest tag team in the world. And Oiwa vs Tsuji just drew the largest attendance for King of Pro Wrestling since pre-pandemic, and it was purely based off of hot hot the crowd was for Oiwa’s ascent during the G1 this year. Another difference is that AEW isn’t sending over mostly schmucks and midcarders, they’re sending over their absolute tip top guys for this stuff. Moxley, Ospreay, MJF and Omega make up 4 of the past 7 AEW World Champions, and they’re taking the trip put over NJPW’s main event scene like Newman, Oiwa, and Tsuji.

I get that it can be annoying that, on the surface, it seems like NJPW is just relying on AEW guys to get a cheap attendance boost for the Tokyo Dome again, but I feel like these things are being done with a lot more purpose, and could pay off in a huge way if Wrestle Kingdom delivers this year. Hopefully, if it does go well, they can get some of this out of their system and get the AEW partnership back to a much more limited capacity again after they’ve really established Tsuji, Oiwa, Newman, the KOB, Uemura, Umino, and all the other rising stars who are some of the very best wrestlers in the world right now

According to a machine:

Haru asks Yuki, "Do you love me?" Raku and Pomu waited for the vow ceremony and said, ``You're going to make an oath with us, right?'' Furthermore, the comment booth becomes a chaotic scene where people compete for Yuki. Haru yelled, ``I won't give you this belt or Yuki-san!''

I heard "suki dayo" and "aishiteru" so at least some of that machine text is on the right track
