Y'all missed the joke.

It's because all the stalls fall between urinals, and the mens bathroom code states that you never take an unoccupied urinal between two other guys.

If that is the joke, then it is a stupid one. Men only avoid taking adjacent urinals if they are just next to each other with no walls between them. As long as there is a wall between the urinals, most men are fine with taking adjacent urinals.

But if the urinal is a trough, the most shy will use stalls and the rest just make sure we dont touch shoulders.
