So today I ordered some stuff from Blinkit in Saket Nagar. A person came 15 minutes later with a dog like fr. Here’s the picture.

I asked about the dog, he told me that the dog came under a car tyre and was in very serious condition. The Blinkit delivery riders of the place took care of him and healed him.

Now the dog stays at the warehouse and goes for deliveries with delivery partners.

So damn wholesome. 🫂🫂

My 5year old indie is diagnosed with 4 tick fever. He weighs 13kgs.

The vet at first said it was only Babesia canis and Anaplasma but later at night I saw 4 lines in the kit. The vet also agreed and said he has babesia gibsoni, Babesia canis, Anaplasma and Ehrlichia.

Med prescribed: Imidocarb(to be repeated after 12 days), Azithromycin 100mg for 10 days, Atovaquone 150mg (3 times a day) for 10 days, canigest, sucral syrup, livotus syrup and pantoprazole.

Please let me know if the medication is appropriate or I need to talk about something more to the vet. I need some opinion.

My indie is a very anxious and hyper dog and its physically impossible to put him under saline and he is taking orally meds by himself.

Why do these dogs always sit or stand at road corners, especially near turns? They stay in places where people are constantly coming and going. I understand that sometimes they chase vehicles, but even when pedestrians are passing by, you never know when they might suddenly become aggressive or attack someone.

They pose a potential threat to people, and there's also a risk of them running into moving vehicles and causing accidents. They sit there as if they own that particular corner for some reason. I honestly don't understand what's wrong with these dogs.

Found these two on a rainy morning, completely soaked but walking around like they own the footpath. The brown one gave me a “where’s my biscuit?” look while his black-and-tan friend photobombed from behind. 😄

They need names. Best suggestion wins my respect (and an imaginary treat). 🐕🐕

This was my last attempt to slavage my friendship. I learnt that we can't teach people empathy, it is inherent and deeper.

Tldr: I tried to show him my side and my unwavering support for animals, strays to be specific.

He said that animal activists should be fair and protest for the lynching, casteism and other human related issues and cited the example of Maneka Gandhi.

(Maneka Gandhi is probably the only representation that animal lovers have right now. Supporting us doesn't help her out in any way. She helped develop the app Rapid Response team for us. She probably got nothing out of it.)

I digress, then I told him to do the same and care for animals if he cares so much for human beings and get up from his ass and protest or do social work. He didn't like it.

Hey guys I feed street dogs when i can and I got some indie dogs at my home ... I've been feeding them homemade foods such as rice veggies meat fish egg / curd ' milk etc . And I have no idea about balance diet of them since I'm a student and I ain't got a single vet in my area nor even near where I live so i want suggestions from you guys who got indie dogs .. what nutritional food ( affordable ofc ) i can feed them .
