Discussion Rip🌸My Angle - Charlie 💔🥺

I lost my 9-year-old dog today due to parvovirus.

The last 12 days have been the hardest I've ever lived through. Every day was spent taking him to the vet, getting fluids, glucose, antibiotics, and hoping that each new day would be the day he finally got better.

He stopped eating, became so weak that he couldn't walk anymore, but he still looked at me every time I sat beside him. He still drank water on his own, and I kept telling myself that meant he was still fighting.

Today he passed black, bloody stool, and a few hours later, he was gone.

I keep replaying everything in my head, wondering if I missed something or if there was anything else I could have done. I don't know if that feeling will ever go away.

He wasn't just a pet. He had been with me for years. He was there through good days and bad days, and now the house feels strangely quiet without him.

I'm literally crying, my tears aren't stopping , for me you are still with us

Rip 💔

Last year I lost my grandmother and now today i lost another family member

I'm shivering rn

Was he vaccinated against the parvo vaccine? In my case we were fostering a india puppy in our society and once he turned 8 months old, the local municipality picked him up for neutering and gave him the required vaccines. After the procedure we assumed that they might have given the parvo vaccines which they actually do but within a month or two He got infected with it, unfortunately I was out of town when this happened and he died within 2 days 😢

Unfortunate 😕 please get them vaccinated in the future with full course. You can use 9in1 vaccine and it's booster doses if budget is the issue.
