Question Holy Wow: bill increase

I just got the notification from Apple that my price for DisneyPlus annual is moving from $79.99 to $189.99, a full $110 jump. That's crazy! Was I stuck in some time vortex and underpaying for a year or what in the heck happened?

And it’s even worse. It still has ads (in the US, there are no real ad free plans).

No idea what plan you are on but I am in NY on the Disney / Hulu bundle ad free. I see no ads when watching anything now. It is a promo I was offered at $9.99 a month for three months. I was offered it while originally having an ad plan
