Science, Tech & Medicine Following Ukraine’s attack on Yandex’s data centers, Russian bot activity across American platforms appears to have declined significantly. A Swedish engineer rans tests by posting pro-H-1B visa content and observed no anti-Indian hate in response.

You tell us about it. Green card/ H1B program suspension order was passed by whom? Who is deporting indian citizens in chains out of US?

If you’re alleging that American policy is being shaped by racism and skin colour, by all means, ask Canadians and Europeans, who feel even more fucked over than we do.

Also, you have to realize that perpetuating anti-Indian hate on X affects Americans of Indian origin, too, regardless of how many generations their families have lived in the United States.

While the optics are worse where it's Europe or Canada, India has been hit worse by the policies.

Canada is getting cooked atleast when it comes to policy way more than we are. Europe is getting cooked on NATO and Ukraine. This administration pulled back funding for Ukraine, which put massive fiscal pressure on the EU.

Well, we're getting cooked with tariffs + our diaspora unable to even get appointments at the embassy.

I mean we are also structurally at a disadvantage in any regime that caps anything. Look at special talent visas which were capped and Indians have insanely long wait times for.

I know an Argentinian Girl who got hers in Year 1. She fkng works in Marketing, in a role any American can fill straight out of college.

I have no issues with the country cap on the GC. Almost every visa category has no appointments specifically for India. Even without the 39 or the 75 country ban.
