Yeah, alcohol was there when a lot of peoples' lives were falling apart.
It was standing over them as they laid on the ground, pausing just long enough to grin at them before raising it's boot for another stomp. J/s.
Alcohol was there for me when I got kicked out of my house, for drinking alcohol. It was there for me when I got out of jail, for drinking in public and violating a restraining order. I mean how much would a salad have done, probably nothing.
