I have an iPhone 13 500 gb right now, I’m at capacity with storage and I pay for monthly iCloud. Their site is confusing me. Which iPhones have that amount of storage?

I’ve been using my iPhone 13 Pro for over 3 years. I bought it for ₹75,000, and I’m considering upgrading to the iPhone 17 Pro (256 GB).

I’m getting an estimated final price of ₹86,990 through a combination of discounts, exchange value and promotional offers. My iPhone 13 Pro’s exchange value is ₹25,000, so the additional amount I’d be spending to upgrade is around ₹62,000.

My current phone still works well, and I’m mainly interested in experiencing a newer iPhone rather than upgrading because of any specific performance issue.

I’d love to hear your opinions:
Is the iPhone 17 Pro a meaningful upgrade over the 13 Pro in everyday use?

Are the camera, display and overall experience noticeably better?

Would you spend an additional ₹62,000 to upgrade, or keep the 13 Pro for another year or two?

Considering the current price, is this a good deal, or would it make more sense to wait for a better offer?

I’d appreciate honest opinions from people who have upgraded from an iPhone 13 Pro or are currently using the 17 Pro.

My wife is travelling to the US and can bring me one of these:

1. iPhone 17 Pro 256GB, brand-new sealed, unlocked : $ 1,000 - $1050

   (Some local stores confirmed they have it)

2. iPhone 17 Pro 256GB, used, under Apple warranty : $ 850 - $ 900

3. iPhone 18 Pro 256GB, brand-new from Apple Store : $ 1,278 including state taxes

I plan to use it for 3–4 years at least and care about resale value in India. The phone may not have its original box as she might not get it to avoid any custom issues.

Which would you pick for long-term value, reliability and resale in India? Is the 18 Pro worth the extra money, or is the 17 Pro a smarter buy? or shall i go for the used 17 Pro ?

Hii! i am upgrading after having an iphone 11 on it's last legs (the battery is like 63% fully charged) and am wondering if i should get the 17 pro max or 18 pro max?

I want a phone that will last as long as my 11 but the only thing would be the price increase and if i should spend $2000 aud or $2300 aud.

I keep thinking that if I get the duo I won’t need an iPad Pro anymore. I don’t use the iPad for anything but entertainment, email, news etc. I have an iPhone 16 pro and iPad Pro cellular (not latest model). Honestly has anyone thought of this. The duo won’t match the viewing area of an iPad but it’ll do just fine. Plus typing away on the iPad Magic Keyboard is so enjoyable. I feel I should just get the iPhone 18 max and save money for the new iPad. I also feel that getting both duo and new iPad Pro will be overkill. Thoughts?

Free iPhone upgrade when I trade in my 14. Can get the 17 or 18 pro for free or the 18 pro max for $2.3 a month. Is the answer obvious and just to go the 18 pro max?

Bit of a dilemma here lol… I had just a regular 16, and I traded it in for the 18 pro. When I had the 16, I had 128gb of space and it was completely maxed out which affected how the phone operated a bit. I now have the 18pro at 256, and after transferring everything and a week or so later I am now at 150gb. Should I go back and exchange for the 512gb? Or is there another plausible solution as I intend to keep the phone for longer.. or should I keep the 256gb and just upgrade to a pro max? My reasoning is that the upgrade to a 18pro 512gb is about 300$ CAD more. Where as the upgrade to an 18pro max is about 160 CAD. In my head the bigger phone and battery life would be much better LOL and cheaper. And then I could potentially just pay for the 2TB of iCloud storage? What do you guys think?

I've been deciding which one to buy. For me, I don't really care much about the camera quality, as long as its "good enough", but I do regularly use my phone to game a lot (heavy ones like CoDm, Genshin, etc)

Wanted to go with the 16P but I heard a lot of 16P users complain about the overheating. Apparently it's a big issue with the 16 pros especially when doing stuff like gaming. So, should I go for the base 17?

Hey everyone! This is my first time buying a second-hand iPhone, and I’d like to get your opinions before making a decision.

I found an iPhone 15 Pro Max in Japan for ¥100,000 (around $635). The seller says it’s in excellent condition, with no scratches or dents, and includes the original box and charger.

The only thing I’m concerned about is the 80% battery health. The seller says ¥100,000 is their lowest price.

Would you buy it at this price, or would you look for another deal? Is the battery health a dealbreaker?

If the Duo had a tele camera I would instantly go for it. But of course, Apple wants almost double the money but gives us a worse camera system. I can live without FaceID, without the bigger vapor chamber of the 18 Pro/Pro Max and the other compromises. But I really don't know if I can live without the tele camera. I take like 40% of my pictures and all of my portrait shots with the zoom lens. I love it so much! Currently I'm on a 15 Pro Max and the only reason I didn't upgrade last year is because there was no black. Now, the Pro even comes in black and it looks so good! My car is black, most of my clothes are black and I'm really annoyed that the Duo does not come in black but a blue (albeit it's a subtle blue tone). I bet many of you are making the same decision and with preorders starting this week how will you guys decide? I've been thinking so much about it but I really don't know what I should do.

Hello! Currently have an iphone 13, which I’ve had for about a year but the battery on it is very poor. Not an issue considering I can just carry a portable charger but still a hassle (i carry those bulky power banks lol).

That said, I’m getting a new phone as a gift and so my friend has asked me which phone I want.

Really don’t like massive phones, so the maxes are out of the question. That leaves the base models or pro models.

I’m leaning more towards 17 pro or 18 pro due to better battery, less overheating because of the vapour chamber and given they’re more recent, the phone should last me a good 3-5 years.

Thinking of getting into content creation so will probs be doing some editing on the phone. Not really one to take pics but once I start content creation, I’ll be taking vids and pics more.

I’ve taken a look at the difference in picture quality between the 17 pro and 18 pro based on product reviews and tbh they seem very very similar (18 pro maybe makes photos a bit brighter/vibrant).

Then again, I really want a third person’s opinion - maybe there’s something I’m missing or not considering.

So based on what I’m trying to do above, which phone would you recommend?

Second hand (I prefer a newer gen iPad for lower price rather than brand new older gen, if this is a mistake please let me know!)

For university (taking notes, studying, homework’s)
For gaming (genshin impact, brawl stars) therefore a decent performance and good refresh rate
For entertainment (movies, tv series, YouTube)
And possibly for other activities

My budget: I am planning to sell my iPhone 12 Pro Max 128GB (76% battery) for ≈200$ which is the highest offer I’ve gotten so far, and I can put an extra ≈100$-150$ on top (i can be flexible and increase the budget if necessary or for a better product).

I will be using Apple Pencil (or any alternative) and AirPods, I don’t know if Apple Intelligence is necessary or not, therefore I will let you guys decide.
I also have a gaming laptop which I only take to few classes that needs it, but one downside to it is that the battery life drains quick if it’s not on charger (which is why I’ll need an iPad), and for the screen size I prefer anything around 10-11 inches, nothing too big since I have big hands, my budget can also be flexible for a decent display (good quality and refresh rate)

Also since I am buying a second hand, i will take any advice for signs and conditions that I should look out for, thanks!

Do i get the 17 base or 16 pro max? Ive had my 12 pro for years and mainly what something that will last without glitches. I can find them for around the same price so I dont know which i should choose!
